I hear the tears in Caseys voice, her voice breaks several times, you just have to listen. You also have to remember that regardless of what happened to Caylee, Casey had her time to cry.
Also, point to consider, Cindy is controlling and with control comes the need for power and with that need sometimes comes abuse. Abused children learn not to cry, that shows the abuser that they are winning. That can be a hard habit to break.

If that is true she got over it by the time the police took her information for the affidavit. Read it...

I have some family in Florida, but I'm not familiar with mines, or if there are any nearby Orlando. It's an interesting thought, but a well might work too. I'm just curious about borrowing the shovel and the dogs hitting in the back yard, and Casey digging all by herself unless the dirt is really soft and then digging again to remove the body.

There are caves near Ocala and old phosphate mines/pits through out the state, including Polk County which is near Orlando.

It sure could have happened the way you outlined it, anastacia. But even if it didn't, I think this last part is still highly likely. Casey is used to authority figures not imposing any consequences if they can't prove that she lied. Then, she just piles lie on top of lie so that everything gets so confused that they just give up and don't follow everything up. Her family believes her unless her word is proved false.

I think Casey just thought, "If I tell the police a made-up babysitter took her, how are they going to say it didn't happen that way? No one can prove I didn't."

Look at the lies she didn't expect them to follow up on: her job, her calls, the date Caylee went missing, her activities after Caylee disappeared, etc. No wonder she won't talk to LE but she will talk to her family. She's got nothing to tell the police that will hold up under real investigation.
That's it! That's why she won't talk to LE. They didn't believe her lies in the beginning and actually called her on them and proved they were lies. They didn't just take her word for where she worked. They took her there and she had to admit her lies. She's punishing LE for making her have to admit that the lies were all her fault.

The dirt is a sandy soil and easy to dig into!

I most respectfully disagree. I've watched dh (who is a very in-shape former Marine and current Firefighter) plant palm trees in our yard - and the digging is no joke!! Probably depends on where you are. I have a hard time even sticking my little flag pole post into the ground - and my house sits on what used to be a swamp.

In my county (which is in FL) if you watch as few as one child in your home, and receive any sort of compendation for it, you MUST be licensed.

As few is three ... one is one. I have to check that one out because there are many neighborhood mother's that watch one another's children and pay each other for their time.

I am in Manatee County

yes it's chilling...I think the last line or so...showed no emotion and even LAUGHED at times...

:furious:

Thanks! I wasn't sure about the area near Orlando, just south Florida and of course, it could be much different! :) At least now I guess Casey could've buried her then dug her up by herself.

There are caves in Southern part of Ocala near bellview that used to be a tourist attraction. It has been closed for many years and some of the caves are full of water but people still go there diving and such.

Those handcuffs were really something! Do they give blue to the guys or do they get pink also???LOL

I am from Phoenix Arizona and I am sure you have heard of our very own
Sheriff Joe Arpio .. He makes the inmates in the Maricopa county Jail
wear pink underware (boxer shorts) and we have chic Chain gangs who wear orange jump suites on our highways picking up trash. He also has all the inmates where stripped uniforms and year round they sleep in tents outside.
They get no TV's no cigeretts and no coffee. Lunch is BOLOGNA sandwiches.
Cassy would not like it here its been over 110 for most of the days:behindbar

She sounds to me like she is very put out to have to talk to all of these stupid law enforcement people and even her family about that girl, what is her name, oh yes Caylee. How dare these fools not comprehend that she, Casey Anthony, has this situation covered! It is not that big of a deal, and things will work out just fine. In the meantime, how about somebody doing something for Casey for once, and getting that car of hers a good cleaning? Oh and possibly filling up the tank? Jacksonville awaits. They have great pool parties there!

Depends on where you live, I live in Bradenton, Florida, west coast side, about 10 miles from the Gulf of Mexico, so my sand is easy to dig into.

We agree to disagree because of where we live in Florida! :)

I have read it and it sounds like someone that is trying to be calm. You can still tell. Not to mention at that point the shock factor had kicked in. And if they questioned her all night like she says they did, then she also would have been tired and drained.
remember that I do not believe everything she says, but if someone doesn't play the devils advocate then we will end up digressing into nothing but pot shots at the whole family. Which can be fun, don't get me wrong.

Regarding this comment. Don't you think that abusers never change without counseling? Your honest answer. If you would agree then do you think that there is the slightest chance that Cindy also abused Caylee?
The last time anyone saw Caylee, that we know of, was Father's day. How do we know for SURE that something didn't happen in that home and both Casey and Cindy are involved??? They would have had a long time to come up with a story. 31 Days.
Mark Furhman just said on Greta that there is a concensus that she didn't work alone.
Just a thought folks:blowkiss:

That is who I was talking about earlier.

I also found that lots of LE agencies are using color coded handcuffs, it is easier to return them to the department they belong, both inmates and handcuffs.

I'm in Hillsborough - and here, watching any children in the home that are not your own require licensing. I'm not saying people don't do it - I have young kids, and I have friends with young kids and we watch each others kids all the time without being licensed - we're friends and that's what we do. But... I know first hand from child-care licensing in my county (I've dealt with them directly on an issue) that one must have a license to watch ANY kids that aren't your own, in your own home. Whatdya wanna bet no one can find a child care license for "Zanny"?

It sounds muted in comparison to Cindy wailing hysterically, but it's there.
I think she may have been upset that both her mother and brother had been grilling her for at least an hour ('What do you mean you can't find her? How did you manage to misplace your daughter?'). Since her dad pulled over the police officers to confide that he and his wife thought his daughter was withholding information, it doesn't sound as if he was too happy with her, either.

Casey didn't appear any too eager to get on the phone with the 911 operator.
