I looked for the thread about the car seat, but couldn't find it. What page is it on? Never mind. I see it thanks.

See it helps so much if people post the link then quote from the article:

"Meanwhile, Orange County sheriff's detectives have found a car seat and are sifting for more clues in an abandoned car that belongs to the missing toddler's grandmother. The woman at the center of the case, the child's mother, remains in jail, and an official said Saturday that she has had no visits from family members since her arrest Wednesday."
Quoting myself so people can try and understand what I'm saying. Most links have a lot of information in them. So, if you can post the link, then quote the pertinent facts, it would be extremely helpful.

Thanks.

IMO am undercover hooker needs two phones, one for her regular family and friends and the other for her regular customers. Or maybe there was never another phone or maybe that phone was destroyed. Wouldn't Le be able to get phone records for both from the telephone company even if it is lost?

:laugh::laugh::laugh:

You all are makin' me feel old.

This is o/t, but for those of us out-of-the-know, would someone mind posting, or is there a post you can direct me to, with a glossary of the acronyms commonly used here.

Thanks-a-mil.

i dont know what half of them mean either

but i do know that CIAK might stand for casey is a killer

Amen sister.. and can I just say that this IS a "General Discussion" Thread, right? I never got all this "stay on topic" stuff. Isn't this CASE, the topic??

I don't think it's so much stay on topic as it is a poster bumping a mods post.

We have two phone each too - one for WORK and one for PERSONAL --- Problem here being she didnt WORK!!!!

And - unless Im mistaken - blackjacks dont have SIMS -----

Was the 2nd phone bought after the 1st was cut off due to non payment? Or was she using 2 phones at the same time?

My brain hurts........

7/24/2008 ORDER APPOINTING EXPERTS FOR COMPETENCY EVALUATION

I believe that the results of a COMPETENCY EVALUTION are likely one of the undisclosed holds. Have the "experts" been identified?

I kept hearing about her having an evaluation before being released on bond. Didn't she already have one of those a while back or am I wrong?

Cell phones for this age group is an accessory. They try to outdo each other or keep up with their friends. Her newest phone, the blackjack, was only about a week old but didn't hold charge. I can understand her using it, then having to go back to the other one because of it not holding a charge.

But.... I personally think she had 2 phones, 2 accounts (1 still unknown to LE), 2 SIM cards and just covered that lie up like a 3 legged cat covering chit in a sand box.

And THAT is my most humble opinion. :)

Did Casey state they were both the same phone number? IIRC she did.

2 phones for someone not employed by a company is a bit odd

2 phone for a person working is perfectly acceptable and makes sense

2 phones for someone that is not working but needs a COVER for something
will work

ALSO

1 babysitter for someone not employed by a company is a bit odd

1 babysitter for a person working is perfectly acceptable and makes sense

1 babysitter for someone that is not working but needs a COVER for something will work too

But if she uses the same SIM for both phones, the network reads it as the same customer so if it were a work phone (impossible since she hasn't had a real job for two years) and she inserted it into a personal phone, the network would still read it as the same account as the work phone, therefore, it does nothing. Two phones, yes, I understand the logistics but two phones sharing one SIM is for fashion only.

Two phones sharing one SIM is a convienent excuse used to cover up her steps, I'm not seeing how it has anything to do with fashion. This is not a technicaly feasible approach. The only way it makes sense is if Caysey lost a Sim card, even with that being the case, there would be no point in switching that card between phones. If she left it permanently in one phone it would make more sense. It's just another excuse, a lie to cover up facts and not be easily traced! Go figure!:)

If she was moving her SIM card around, she is the first person I have heard of who does this. I'm sure most of us have cell phones, and know many people that have cell phones. This is not common practice and makes absolutley no sense. I have two cell phones, so does my husband and neither one of us have ever entertained that idea. It would only be necessary, if you were making up an excuse or if you were trying to hide something. That's my two cents!

I so agree, BloodHound!!! I don;t even like to touch the small thing . . . I use it mainly for music file storage

Maybe she was whitening her teeth in the trunk? Needed them pearly white for all her smiles in court/jail?

Hey, for that carbon copy smile she has in all of her pictures, she may have been! ;-)

IF she had 2 phones with 2 numbers I wonder if one was used for work..if you know what I mean? I know there has been speculation of her being an operator if ya know what I mean.

She supposedly got another phone because the Blackjack wouldn't hold a charge for long. I believe that's in her convo w/Lee.

If I remember correctly, I thought I read that her first phone was shut off because of non-payment. She told Lee she went and got a new one at the AT & T store by the mall.
