It's hard to decipher this one because there's much that we don't know. Casey might've been lying when she claimed to have told two people. And it's further possible that the report itself is inaccurate.

It is in the arrest documents that she told officers that she told Jeff Hopkins and Juliette Lewis, both coworkers. JL has never been found/appears to be imaginary. JH went to high school with Casey, worked at Universal in high school, has never met Caylee, denied being told anything.

I'm trying to keep my posting to a minimum, since i was "jumped" on last night and told that if I didn't know enough about this case, I shouldn't be here.

Someone really said that to you?

Remember, there are people here handing out pitchers and Kool-aid packets waiting for us to add water.

I've tracked her posts and I catch your drift. I just wanted to hear it from the horses mouth.:blowkiss:

I have shown great restraint by not responding to these attacks until now.(finger-wagging).

What attacks? I don't believe I've ever responded to any of your posts until just now. I thought your post to me was aggressive, unkind and disproportionately rude in relation to the underlying issue, especially when I was merely responding to the messages of other posters and relying on their quotes. Again, you should follow the conversation as much as possible before writing those kind of posts.

I've read that entry...but I'm sure I've also read elsewhere that she was staying with both of them and how people found this odd because Casey was Ricardo's ex. Maybe she was staying with them til they got the new place???

Even if she spent most time/nights with Tony, don't you find it odd that he apparently accepted that Caylee was elsewhere for the whole month, particularly given that he and his friends apparently accepted her, had her at the pool etc?? I'v

Am I the only one here that would find it odd if a friend's 2 year old wasn't around her for a month????? Maybe so...suspicious mind! Maybe I've worked in criminal law too long!
I think it shows the superficial relationship Casey had with her 'friends', if they all bought her stories of why Caylee was usually MIA. Of course, since none of them have kids of their own, they may not have questioned the welfare of a little girl "with her grandparents".

As far as the living arrangements go, I think Casey and Amy were planning to move in together, but when Tony entered the picture Casey's plans changed. I wish I could remember the poster who mentioned this the other night to credit him/her with what I thought was a keen observation.

My personal theory is that Casey wound up staying at the Glenwood house while Tony was in NY between July 1-5th, and the night before Amy left for vacation (so she could snag Amy's car).

I'm also wondering if Casey was driving Tony's car while he was out of town and she was wheel-less.

YUK I don't want any!!!

(sorry I dont know how to multi-quote things, the button wont work) but it may be different in different places, because I know in Maine you can live with your parents (or family) and still get welfare help.

same in Illinois

There is a thread labeled myspace in the forum, it has multiple posts back and forth from Amy and Casey discussing living arrangements, plans to move, Amy not moving, Casey not staying at the new local because of drama, combined with what LE says in released documents about when Casey was with her/Ricardo and Amy's trip.

I've read all those posts, more than once!! And the arrest and search paperwork etc. And I've watched Clint's interviews etc. And I'm still not clear where she was "living" at the relevant times and/or whether there were plans for Caylee to live where she was going to be living.

If for example, Amy told Casey that Caylee couldn't live with them, or whether there was going to be a bedroom for, is IMO very relevant. It may go to pre-mediation.

I really don't think there is much point arguing this with everyone....I accept that you all feel differently and you would not have seen any red flags if you were in Tony or Amy's position. I am just saying I think I would have seen red flags, but accept that many of you wouldn't have felt a month of Caylee's absence should have/would have concerned her friends or bf.

Sorry. I post the thought that comes up when I read the forum. Nothing cryptic - I wish it was, but it's not.

BWAAHAAHAA! I guess that is going to happen to me, too, cause I am over 2 days behind. Isn't going to stop or limit me from posting, though.
What I've been able to pick up so far is massive discovery documents will be released at any time, including a cd full of dumpster pics. Anything else new?

Let 'em eat fishheads. Unless it was Tricia that said that to ya, it doesn't mean a hill of beans.

Here's what the big boss has to say about who can post at Websleuths:

Note from Tricia

July 16th 2008

Everyone, and I don't care who you are, EVERYONE HAS SOMETHING TO OFFER.

Even if a person posts on a thread about a true crime story they are interested in they are participating and helping in some small way to keep the story alive.

There are so many people out there that have so much to offer but the world has forgotten them. This is one of the main reasons I decided to own and operate true crime forums. To give everyone a chance to help, to do something and at the same time, help a family keep their loved ones case alive by discussing it on Websleuths.

Don't be shy, come on in and get involved. Websleuths will always be free to you. And yes, you do have something to offer. You matter to the posters at Websleuths. The only thing you have to do is try and you will see I am right :)

Not odd at all.

IF Tony was personally & legally responsible for Caylee, I might find it odd he didn't demand to see the little munchkin. She told him she was being watched by someone else..... she didn't seem AT ALL worried or bothered or upset, why would he have any doubts??

IF Tony was just as happy that Caylee WASN'T around, doesn't that support the theory that Casey had a motive to get rid of Caylee.... so she & Tony could pursue a relationship?

Tony barely knew Caylee.... he just starting seeing Casey at the end of May.

As much as I'm looking forward to the 400 pages...

I'm thinking...400 pages? Maybe I should make some coffee. Or break out the Maker's Mark:)

That was said to me on my third or fourth post here. Whomever it was said to this time, don't let it bother you.

Mmm'k. (I love the South Park teacher comment from Tony Padilla last night. Cracks me up!)

Let me see if I can decifer Garrison code for us: "Presently, I have nothing to go on and I can't figure out from the press I have read what is actually happening in this case yet...but as soon as I do...I will try it out on them to see how it sounds." LOL
