If she wanted to find her, she would have parked her car away from the house and waited at the house; KC was coming by almost daily and Cindy told Brittany who lived down the "lane" that KC was coming to the house and stealing food and money. In the end, the jury disliked Ashton and I bet they disliked Drane-Burdick - they ignored the almost perfect case they put on. They just did not like th eprosecution.

KC's description of the nanny was just another lie - She looked in fusion because she knew they had pictures of her in fusion. She changed her story to Blanchard Park because Melich said they found no pictures of her at Sawgrass (in reality they never checked the cameras). But KC did not know that and she fell right into their trap and changed her story.

I forgot about that! I was thinking along the lines of the 911 call when FCA said she was trying to find Caylee the last 31 days on her own. Remember the shopping trip she took at Target with Amys money.

I wish some of the other jurors would come out of hiding and give some more information on what went on inside that room. I still can't believe all of them would care for JB over JA. Remember JB's cutting the cheese joke, I thought he was trying to compete with JA after he saw the courtrooms reaction to the pig in the blanket joke. JA offered some relief in the form of a joke, to relieve some stress from a very serious and sad case. He even explained his reasoning.
The jury foreman thought JA joke was in poor taste but never mentioned JB's cheese one which actually bombed because of poor timing. That foreman was an idiot...jmo

Cindy kept KC under her thumb (if you can call it that) by letting her steal from her. KC was writing checks to KMART practically every day. Just that alone would make anyone sit up and take notice that their daughter was NOT working because she was at KMART every day. She let her steal thousands and thousands from her - January and February 2008 - it was over 1,000; thereafter we see phone bills and checks amounting to 300 and up. Cindy also puts money in her own banking account to cover the missing money.

In April of 2008, Cindy cuts off the bank account; some four days later, there are seaches for chloroform and other "things".

KC was obviously desperate and furious and started thinking about getting rid of Caylee at that time. IMO.

Cindy lies to Dr. Phil when she says she did not know that CK was not working. She knew she would go to Universal and most likely not find her there but she wanted to catch KC and she did and then wrote the famous note. Cindy went to Universal because it was the only place she "knew" that KC said she was at. So she went there. And of course KC was not there. That was no surprise to Cindy - although she says it was. Cindy called Ryan that day and she told him to stay away from KC because she is a sociopath. I guess Dr. Phil could have askeda bout that, but Cindy would say Ryan is lying.

you are spot on with this...however in my humble opinion, ca cutting off the bank account in april of 08, was the first of many things that exploded in caylees death..this is strike one in fcas book...strike 2? wasnt in may 08, that fca wanting to cavort in the caribbean( in PR i believe) w/ her friends. ca refused to watch caylee, so fca couldnt whoop it up in the caribbean w/ her friends.. -so theres strike 2, another drop in the pot of anger fca had against her mother( this is mentioned in "mommy's little girl" by diane fanning) strike 3, and the last/deadly strike that pushed the princess over the edge? the infamous fight on 6-15/ the fathers day trip/video trip of the nursing home. where ca confronted her on the theft of grandparents checking account, the choking and im SURE threats hurled against her, you will lose caylee/custody...and here we are today. i could be wrong, and im not a math whiz, but these are interesting facts in the time line, and one can only think 1+1+1=3 strikes..again all MOO> and my :twocents:

Diane Fanning is NOT a credible source. Her book is full of misstakes, misspellings, etc. The made for tv documentary she did on Casey is also full of mistruths.

Now members of the family who are not living in the house are being targeted for money. She is cut off in April and has no way of getting funds. She sees Caylee as an obstacle and she also hates Cindy for cutting her off. It sure shows motive, at the very least a direct line of effect that CA caused from shutting down the money train. CA could have been the target also, it's very possible FCA's targets changed during this period of time. If FCA ends up back at home, GA said he would likely leave but I don't think he would be able to leave CA...alone...in the house...with FCA. Are we suppose to believe that CA is that loyal she would subject herself to becoming the next possible target? She claims to trust FCA babysitting then admits there's something wrong with her daughter. CA said she doesn't think it will ever be possible for FCA to move back home but this shows how desperate she is to have her daughter under her control. Someone up thread posted a great theory on CA's thought processes....jmo

Agree, and here's an example of why I think OCA is a sociopath. OCA was able to kill Caylee without any emotional blowback and was happy to get on with the life she wanted without looking back or missing Caylee.

I think what she couldn't predict or imagine in her emotional makeup is how much her parents would grieve and continue to grieve their loss. Since OCA isn't herself capable of that depth of feeling, and she has never had the opportunity to "mirror" that emotion, I think she was shocked and angered by her parents emotions. Caylee was simply "gone" so what was the big deal?
She was still there...Because I have no other explanation for OCA's behaviour in the three years after Caylee's "death".

They lied for her, they covered up for her, they had their reputations tainted and ruined for her, they attended almost every pre-trial court hearing for her, they tried to visit her and casey was the one that refused their visits. casey is the one that has damaged her family. Her lying about what really happened to caylee hurt her family, her friends, innocent people that just happened to know casey or get caught up in the mess that she created, her community, etc. I am so sick and tired of hearing JB say poor misunderstood and unsupported casey. Mind-boggling, isn't it? Just the idea that CA allowed it to continue without taking control of the situation is unbelievable. If she did once or twice, ok. But CA kept covering for her too long. When she finally got the gumption to cut KC off, KC offed Caylee. CA knows what happened. She just doesn't want anyone else to know. MOO
