After I had logged out of websleuths yesterday, I firstly had a look at the Australian Business Register which holds all records for people that have registered a business. He is a stockbroker and financial adviser so he would have to be registered. A simple google search shows his full name is SRD. Here in Australia you must register with the ABR to obtain official documentation to run a business. This ABR site is linked with the Taxation Office and a few other governmental departments. Nevertheless
Searching the ancestory.com site proves S R D was first officially registered to vote in 1972 therefore if he first registered when he had turned 18 this means he was born about 1954. Keep in mind that many individuals choose not to register on attaining the age 18 or register when they are older, but SD registered close to his 18th birthday. Therefore it is absolutely impossible for SD to be 34 years old in 1996 or 1997. In fact he was either 42 or 43 or thereabouts in 1996 in 1997.
Furthermore simple google searches show S R D graduated from the University of Western Australia in 1991 and holds a Bachelor of Economics Degree. There is a gap of 19 years between when he would have graduated from S S H S around 1972 (coincides with electoral roll) until he completed his uni degree in 1991. He would have completed that degree when he was aged about 37. So he was a late starter at uni or perhaps a starter, stopper and restarter. His judo training shows he trained in Japan. I think it highly possible he spent a length of time in Japan because the Japanese uni that is listed, has extensive Buddhism courses which would be linked to the discipline of martial arts he is involved in; it is possible he was in Japan at the time of the abductions and murders. All the available information online about his current career shows he has been involved for around 12 to 14 years. There is one site that carries a publish date of 2011 and it is stated that he had been represented on the Board of that company for 12 years so that makes it around 1999. Therefore from his uni graduation in 1991 until 1999 there are a around 8 years unaccounted for. Again I believe he was connected to Japan at that time.
A fatal flaw exists on this thread and it needs to be mended permanently. It is quite obvious that no one on the thread had bothered to do some very simple no charge searches to validate information before labeling this man as the POI referred to by police in the CIA documentary as possible serial killer. It is a total and absolute co-incidence that the police discussion detailed their POI as being a martial arts expert.
The Division of Scarborough which did not include the suburb of Claremont, back in the early to mid 90s would not be an area a family described as wealthy english would choose to live; the area was made up of heavily industrialized areas, state housing projects, large shopping centres/malls and medium to low income earners.S D is not the expert martial art practitioner from a wealthy english family; he would have been close to 42 years of age at the time in 1996 or 1997.
