Eh, it was at the very end after the argument was finished. And this particular case, I disagree with Juan on .. I think it was suicide, and Juan almost lost this case.

I agree. I think it was either an accident or suicide. I think it's amazing he got any kind of conviction on it and it sounds like the only reason was because the jury was filled with prudes who didn't approve of their lifestyle.

Really strange case.

I think it will be JW 'cause she seems like a control freak. She doesn't trust Nurmi to do it, thinks she can do a better job, when in reality I think Nurmi comes across as more human than she does.

Isnt Nurmi the lead attorney? Willmott has only been on the case for a year, iirc.

Since it was Nurmi making the objections today he will be doing the closing tomorrow.

Sorry for the emotion, I just...feel like after this case, I don't think I can follow any more...it is so painful. A lot of us are victims and we cope in our own way, but all of us are fighters. Regardless of what side we come down on.

It became clear to me during Juan's testimony of how Jodi thinks what happened during that photo shoot. Jodi did it to was all done to humiliate him while he was alive. Jodi relished in the power of it, one last F you to him before she slaughtered him. Diabolical. Like an 'I'll show you who has the power in this relationship' She said herself in the interview with the police Travis would never allow his picture taken in the shower. Now it all makes sense.

I missed the part about the "naughty" pics. Did he mention anything about the two pictures that weren't shown to the jury?

For months, I've tried to imagine what she said just before the first stab. I'm sure she had a special way of announcing it. Probably a little prepared speech.

I refuse to partake in one more day of the defense and the defendant using their platform to rip Travis to pieces. In the last few months I've completely stopped watching HLN and try not to give the garbage any attention.



Can't wait for Juan's rebuttal and this last weekend, the calm before the deliberation storm :stormingmad: (ooh I've wanted to use that new icon for a while!!)

I hope this doesn't get me in trouble, but my perception of JW has changed over the course of the trial. At first I sort of liked her--she seemed friendly and warm and charming (to me, i know ymmv). But as the case went on my impression of her changed. Now I find it very difficult to watch her.

I agree. I think as the case went on and it was thoroughly ripped apart she started to take things very, very personally. I think she REALLY hates Juan.

Same here. I will follow the intelligent posters here! They make more sense, and I can still support the family from here.

Hey, did I miss something along the way? What happened to the messages in code that Jodi was smuggling out of the jail in the magazines? Why wasn't that brought out about her attempt to tamper with testimony, whether Matt MacCartney testified or not, she was still witness tampering??? Was that squelched by Nurmi/Wilmott in one of their closed hearings and I didn't hear about it or what?
