This is horrible, Ashley looked like such a vital, energetic young woman, it looked like she was attachment parenting. What a terrible loss for dear little Winter :sigh:
Boulder Police Department this morning announced that Adam Densmore will face murder charges in the death of Ashley Mead, who was reported missing, along with their 1-year-old daughter, earlier this week and is now presumed dead.
Boulder police tweeted that Densmore, 32, was served a warrant for first-degree murder.
Densmore already was in custody at the Pawnee County Jail after being arrested Wednesday on suspicion of violating a custody agreement when he was found with the daughter he has with Mead.
Wow, that was fast - the dad has been charged with murder even though the body found hasn't yet been identified.

I wonder if they have video of him or his vehicle that puts him in the exact place the body was found in the suitcase and dumpster.
IMOO.
Police say Ashley Mead remains missing and an unidentified womans body was found outside a WalMart in Okmulgee, which is about 90 miles east of Oklahoma City and nearly 600 miles from Boulder -- about 40 miles from where Densmore and the girl were found. Cordingly said the remains were found by a citizen and were inside a suitcase that had been left in a dumpster.
A spokeswoman for the Oklahoma medical examiner says its not clear how long the identification process will take.
There are some factors involved that make it very, very difficult for us, so I dont know how long its going to take, said the spokeswoman, Amy Elliott. She would not elaborate.

"The Boulder Police Department is continuing to investigate the disappearance of a 25-year-old mother. Based on emerging information, investigators now believe Ashley Mead was killed in Boulder and her body at least partially dismembered just outside of Shreveport, Louisiana. There are concerns that some of the victim’s body parts may have been discarded in a variety of communities the suspect passed through after the homicide."
Police said they believe Densmore left Boulder on Sunday and drove to Raton, N.M., and through the Texas panhandle before arriving in Haughton, La., on Monday. Police said he then drove through Conway, Ark., and Okmulgee, Okla. -- where the partial remains were discovered Thursday -- before being arrested outside Tulsa, Okla.
Police are now asking for the public's help in locating the rest of Mead's remains in any of the communities he passed through. Investigators believe some of the remains may be in a purple suitcase, and they released an image of similar luggage.
Investigators have tentatively identified remains found inside a dumpster in Okmulgee, Okla. on Thursday as Mead, based on observations made during the autopsy. The remains were found in a suitcase and included the torso of an adult white female. Police say the body had been dismembered and was missing several parts of the body.
