I don't recall. But this am I went through all the photos of state evidence, and not even knowing fireplace poker was involved.. I saw the skull mark and said to myself "that looks like the end fillagree of a fireplace poker.
This must be what I was remembering about the fireplace poker.

Redwine told KUSA that investigators removed sections of carpet and wood flooring Wednesday, dug a hole in his yard, and took a fireplace poker, clothing and a cellphone.

Did the prosecution have a slam dunk with the DNA evidence so far? Did the defense knock it's impact down during cross?

I haven't been following live, so perhaps others that have can answer this. It appears that Dylans' text all have a signature line. "B3) PIMP FACE WITH A STASH" . Did they cover what does this refer to? It's even on the ones he sends to his mother. At first I was thinking it was referring to Mark photo or ?? did Mark receive such and think it did refer to him eating poop and set him off? If irrelevant to case, never mind. e.g. Exh #31 Colorado Judicial Branch - La Plata - Cases of Interest - PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF COLORADO v. MARK REDWINE - Trial Exhibits

The B3) text is a code that the phone reads, so when the message shows up on the phone it's shown as an emoji (illustration) instead of text. The transcript didn't decode this to draw an emoji, so it just shows up as the code describing what it is. The people receiving his message would have seen an emoji.

I am not sure that is entirely true. One of the text messages I read said "What is the B3" and Dillan said "idk" (Exhibit 31)

Dylan Redwine: CBI agent says police found blood throughout living room of alleged killer dad’s home

“First and foremost was the blood under the carpet. If blood had been deposited on the carpet and soaked through, the carpet should have given me a positive reaction, but it didn’t,” Clayton said.

“The blood on the couch and love seat, of course, they were dark brown leather to begin with, very difficult to see, not a lot of blood there, but it looked like it had been cleaned up, something had to happen there to make it that dilute.”

“It was not just centralized in one place. If I had found stains in one area I would think you had a localized bloodletting event, but this indicates movement, you have it on various pieces of furniture and under a rug.”

a DNA expert testifying today said several samples indicated the blood either matched Dylan, his brother or Mark. One only matched just Dylan. The defense is trying to show that no one can say how long any of the blood had been there, meaning maybe not related to this case
