I've been skimming through these threads/posts; and forgive me if this has been mentioned.... but off-hand , does anyone know who has Dylans' phone at this time, LE ? And if so, LE should know where the last place it 'pinged'; either on the way back to MR's house or if they stopped anywhere else after eating.
What was the very LAST thing said , or contact by phone , or whatever , Dylan had right before he vanished ?

Again, I don't know how LE can say that they've ruled out running away... because someone can taken while running away... and in that case, the whole community should be warned; since there could be a predator still out there.
I haven't read anywhere yet , that MR's local area should be on the lookout; being careful to lock doors, etc.
If none of Dylans' immediate relatives are involved -- wouldn't LE say everyone needs to be on alert ??

I've been trying to search but can't find anything yet for today. Does anyone know if LE are still at the reservoir searching today? The last information I could find was on 12/4. I wondered if they were still there?
Anyone? TIA

Othereyes, it has been very quiet... nothing new since the pictures were released except for the article that Dylansmom34 just posted (<------that one was all news previously reported)

I don't think the prevailing suspicion involves him premeditating the disappearance in the way described above. I think it is more along the lines of wondering if someone got into an argument that went sideways.

I was responding primarily to ER's assertation that she thought MR was the type to do something with or to Dylan to get back at her. She seemed to think that Dylan's disappearance was premeditated.

One never knows. An argument can be premeditated to forward the end result. Trust me I know!

Of course!

They've been separated and divorced for several years. It doesn't seem likely that he would wait years to get retribution by harming Dylan

Retribution would be more of a planned thing. You risk bringing alot of attention on yourself if your child goes missing immediately after you pick him up, immediately after you lose custody to his mother, and immediately after you have to go to court enforce getting your holiday because mom and son fight it. The potential motives work (anger over losing your rights, disappointment over putting so much money into a custody battle [extremely expensive! Especially long distance], wanting mom to know just how much pain is felt when you lose a child because she made him go through that, etc), but the timing seems less likely.

I'm thinking that if the father was at all involved, the timing favors an unplanned situation. Maybe an anger situation. However I wouldn't rule out depression, isolation, pain and feelings of loss and hopelessness as possible motivators either. Unplanned murder-suicides and other family homicides seem to often include one person who feels that their happiness is tied to someone else- and when loss of that person is threatened, the perpetrator can go off the deep end and do things that don't make logical sense to others.

I don't know what was accomplished with the news story today, except to clarify the description of the shirt he was wearing since he was originally reported to be wearing a Nike shirt when he was wearing the DC shirt the night before he was reported missing.

at least it was something with his name on it... :-(

Sure wish that reporter would have kept on top of the story. I am sure there is a lot going on but no one is on top of it reporting developments.

Yes, I agree. Kevin Torres seems to be on vacation and I don't think 9news has anyone filling in for him on Dylan's case. :(

The fact that dad said his fishing pole was missing has always caught my attention!
And then the lake searches.
Mom thinks dad is involved.
Dad picked him up from the airport.
They went to walmart.
Dylan has never been seen again, nor heard from.
Mom suspects angry dad is involved.
Dad says his fishing pole is missing.
LE keeps looking for him in the water.

Thank you. I was hoping that they would still be searching there today. I'm so afraid for him missing in that type of terrain. Looking at a map of the area, he could be anywhere! It's very daunting.

We need a miracle! I pray it comes soon for this sweet boy and his family.
I'm just feeling very sad today.
Where are you Dylan?!

I'm feeling sad today too, in part due to so many things, some recent events on some of the other missing kid cases and being so concerned about Dylan. I am still hoping that something happens soon, ideally that Dylan is found safe somewhere. Or, at least that some answers come out.

This morning, my son wasn't feeling well, so we are home from school and work today. I am so grateful that my Dylan is here and we are dealing with normal kid things, when just several hours away from us, another Dylan is missing and has likely been a victim of something horrific. :(

As far as I can tell, no one knows where the phone is. The phone is missing, just as Dylan.

Has Mom come out and actually said she thinks Dad is involved?

Thank You.

This is what has always bothered me as well. Think about it. Dad now says that he gently nudged Dylan awake at 7:30, and told him that he needed to go to town for errands, but would come back at 11 to pick him up. And he says that Dylan replied " I understand Dad" and went back, out like a light.

And also, we know that Dylan never communicated with anyone or texted anyone when he woke up later on. It has been said that he never even turned on his cell phone.

And yet, from the beginning, Dad was pushing hard the unlikely scenario that Dylan got up, packed all of his belongings, and went on a 4 mile hike to the lake to fish all by himself, while his friends were waiting on him to get dropped off in B-town.

I just cannot buy that story. None of it makes any sense to me. And I think Mom saw through it too

But if Dylan was so understanding, and knew that Dad was returning at 11 to give him a lift, then why leave on a fishing trip that would take hours and hours?

And why wouldn't he contact his friends, who were waiting for him? Wouldn't he tell them that dad was dropping him off at 11? Or at least answer their repeated calls and texts.

. But I cannot say anymore because I just got back here after a forced vacation.:angel::angel:

Sad to note how much slower the comments are compared to some days ago.
It must mean that many posters are also ' scaling' down in their minds. :(

No, I think it has to do with Elizabeth & Lyric being found. :(

I know what you mean. I really have been fighting back tears today for these little ones. My eyes keep watering and I can't seem to get the sadness to leave.
I think I will try to watch a happy movie or something until I can pick up my son from school today. (He's staying late for a basketball game, what DR should be doing at this time in his life as well.:() Please give your Dylan extra hugs today! Hope he feels well soon.

Let's look at the absolutes that we know.
Dad gets court ordered visitation for Dylan over thanksgiving. (what caused these parents to need to go to court over this, something from the sept visit?)
Dylan flies in alone
Dylan texts his mom
Dylan and dad go to walmart
Dylan is missing
Dad says his fishing pole is also missing.
Dads home is searched
Mom suspects dad
Waters are searched
Dads home is searched again be sW
Mom states they were both given LD she passed
Waters are searched again.
Please add whatever might have been left out.
My gut tells me Dylan is in a body of water.
