Can someone be charged with a crime even if Dylan isn't found??
Sure. Dont need a body anymore. As long as forensic evidence supports.

Oh Oh but there is. It's now a Criminal Investigation. But we don't know why.

TY Bravo, you just gave me a thought. Funny how a little tidbit by someone else can make a little ' ping' in your mind.
It IS a criminal investigation. This is one of the very few things that LE has said about what's going on. But something is ' lacking' for a criminal investigation if they were focused on a wandering RSO type of person or a random kidnapper. At least it's my understanding something is lacking. Has the immediate area been put on 'alert' as in, watch your kids, keep your kids inside, report any suspicious persons or vehicles, we have a 'predator' on the loose type of language?
Of course they don't want to panic the public, but isn't it usually at least mentioned to be extra vigilant if they suspect someone has snatched a child off of the street or worse, from their home?
If LE has said anything like this and I missed it, please forgive .
If they have not,,,,,, does it mean anything?
Those are the clues i look for. Not so much what LE says but what they don't say. Speaks volumes to me. Given the way Court cases go today I think it has changed Investigations. I cant blame them. It's just the way i look at crimes. Some say think outside the box. I don't create the box. It's really not that complex dontcha think?
They said that yesterday, as far as I know? And it seems to because they say they ruled out the non-criminal possibilities.
If by ' really not that complex' you mean LE is not afraid the area is
in great danger from a wandering child snatcher, so there is no reason
to worry other parents because there children are safe, then not
that complex at all.
No not at all. I mean when LE puts out a statement it's not really that complex to read between the lines. No matter the crime. Not just speaking to this one. I have no idea why LE doesn't feel they need to put out a warning. They have their reasons and they know what they are.
LOL Those where the days huh. Well i know nobody is buried under my porch. I check. Often. Kidding. I really gotta stop using that catch phrase in public tho.
I thought that was today? Forgive me. I have been flu ridden in bed for days. I think today is Saturday LOL On the upswing. I have logged more hours on this thread than ever due to sick time. My times and days apparently are running together. Disclaimer-due to illness i am not responsible for any posts until further notice :blushing:
I'd have to say sometimes yes, sometimes no. There seems
very little PUBLIC info out there. I'm sure there is a ton of
private info that the parents and LE know all about.
But I do think if LE thought a community was in any way
threatened by a lurking predator, they would make some
type of statement saying so. It's negligent and dangerous
not to and they'd be really in a rough spot if no warning
was made and a child was abducted next week in the same
area. JMO

I feel your pain. I had the flu last year and was down in bed for 3 weeks sick as a dog. High fever the whole time and horrible sweats. Took me 6 months to get my strength back. This year I couldn't wait to get my flu shot. Hope you are better soon. Vitamin B will help with the strength. jmo
In fact 50% of marriages end in divorce in our country ( a very sad statistic for our country imo) yet very very few wind up even murdering the ex spouse or their children. Of course we have seen some because we are on message boards where they are discussed but when compared to the vast amount of divorces there are yearly its really very few in comparison to those who just go on with their lives. Usually if we see this though the parent who winds up killing the child and isnt with their ex anymore high tails it with the child or children and sometimes parent and child are later find dead or the child is. I have put up a link before though when it pretains to abduction of a child that winds up being murdered only 14% of the time is the child murdered by one of their parents.
Yet, you are right we have kept up with high profile cases right here of missing children and the parents had nothing to do with them being missing or being murdered although many were falsely accused at the time.
I really dont see a lot of stressors in this case. He wasnt denied his right to see his child. She had physical custody because Dylan lives with her...there is no sole custody in Colorado law. Dylan had not lived with him since 2007 so he knew the drill by now imo. Now he and his ex-wife dont see eye to eye .......not shocking in the least but they didnt have to be around each other either anymore.
He had just seen Dylan in September of this year when he flew out to stay with him. So it wasnt like it was the first time he had seen him since Dylan had moved.
IMO
Did I miss something? when did LE say they removed an ipod from the house? can you please provide a link
