There have been deaths from one wrongly placed punch. I don't know what she did, but I believe she had time to decide between right and wrong. IMO

Yes if the perp is 250 lbs and the victim a little kid. Just finding it hard to believe she can “accidentally” kill someone who is not much smaller than her. It must have happened fast or he’d have had a chance to fight back or run.

And this is (part of) why I don’t believe the 900 miles... she would not have filled up with gas.
but even if she didn't do the 900 miles.
she did at a minimum one tank of gas. plenty of unaccountable driving .
I think she would have gotten gas if it helped her cause.
because she already thinks she is incognito. leaving her car at the airport.
doing an unlikely but DOABLE amount of distance is exactly what she counted on.(underestimating her)

Speed Distance Time Calculator

U can travel 1920 miles in 24 hours at 80 mph. And I’d bet the farm she was doing at least that.

Going at the speed limit, with busy traffic, which no way in hell was she doing that, u can drive 960 miles in 13 hours. She was probably driving rural roads, no cops, and doing 80 at least.

IMO unless she had access to a navigation device - she didn't go anywhere she was unfamiliar.

I wonder if the rental had a gps. It probably would have been on the recipe if so.

To me, she doesn't appear quite so petite as some make her out to be. She may be as much as 5'7, 150lbs... or not... typical Tecia vagueness. And Gannon may not have been 90lbs... to me he looked about 75lbs tops, a typical scrawny 11 year old.

Or she shoved him down the stairs and he hit his head at the bottom? It's not the size of the perp it's a badly placed hit on the nose or a thin area of the skull. Maybe they were in the garage and she grabbed a 2x4, a bat, or a hockey stick. WE DON'T KNOW. MOO

RBBM Possibly the same type of woman who assaults an armed officer. ;) JMO IMO

Fellow sleuther @H73 used the license plate to find the VIN# 3KPA24AB8KE196687 for the Kia rental. A quick VIN lookup shows that it supposedly had work done on it in Lobelville Tennessee last July 2019, and it had 900 miles on it. I'm guessing that it probably has 10,000+ miles on it today. See attached:

That’s strange bc TN to CO is way more than 60 miles, unless the car was shipped and never driven by anyone else.

And this is (part of) why I don’t believe the 900 miles... she would not have filled up with gas.

It’s possible the mileage was wrong, but it’s also possible that it’s not. Same goes for filling up at some point. People keep saying this, but I don’t understand why...I know she may not want to be caught on video at a gas station. However, perhaps she drove around trying to create false trails, did fill up at some point in a place she wouldn’t care about being seen, but either didn’t want to be seen in the area she was in before drop-off, so returned it empty, or ran out of time and just didn’t bother before returning the car.

She could easily explain her drives as ‘searching for Gannon’, if she truly thought we were going to buy her story as to why she rented the car.

I don’t see why it’s so unbelievable that she would fill up at some point. PF was dumb enough to go to an ATM with Kelsey’s body in a bin in the back of his truck, all caught on video, and still thought he was getting away with it.

But from all accounts I’ve heard he was a respectful kid. Most kids have a fear of their parents or at least a healthy respect for those in charge of them. I don’t think size matters in this case it’s about respect. He might have tried to run initially but he knew he had to follow the house rules. That might have been his downfall.
ETA : He had no choice but to follow LS’s rules while AS was out of town and she knew this

You can watch the videos for yourself. Many of us have noticed said bag.

Obviously, no one living in the house has given MSM an interview regarding their guns or whether any were missing. How would Rodney know what was in the bag? Why would he be giving further commentary (especially given how much people have inspected the very little that he's said - it's just good that he provided the video, IMO).

I'd say that we all need to watch the driveway videos a few times.

yeah true. I was just thinking he might have commented that she was carrying this large bag to car before she took off with Gannon. Seems like a huge piece of the puzzle. I’ll go watch it again if I can find it.

Are you asking whether LE has revealed manner of death (of a little boy whose body isn't found yet)?

The charge is regarding child abuse. Which could mean a lot of things, including abandoning a child by the side of the road in the cold or telling them to swim in a cold lake in winter. One's mind can go almost anywhere.

They can't know whether he was shot until they find the body, IMO. If that's what they find, they can use another version of Murder 1 in Colorado - but right now, actions by an adult leading to the death of a child under 12 gets us where we want to be (Murder 1 - right?)

So basically the law stipulates that if someone kills a child it is automatic child abuse? Since they do not know how he died, how can they say child abuse. Is it just bc they do believe he’s dead and he’s under 12?

And several things can tell them if he was likely shot: AS IDing the gun bag. A missing gun/bullets. Gunpowder residue in house, vehicle, rental, or clothes. Spent shell casings. Witnesses reporting gunshots and/or seeing her or her truck around same time. So I guess what I’m asking is if they highly suspected he died by gunfire, would they still say child abuse on charging documents?

Went back to look at the timeline again and there was a link to this article written on Tuesday, Jan 28th the day after Gannon was reported missing. In hindsight a couple things jumped out at me.

“That’s really our only concern, that he’s so young,” Mynatt said. “It’s cold outside, it’s going to start getting late here soon. We want to find him, get him home and put him in a safe environment. <snip>
Deputies are actively searching for the boy in between calls for service, and the case has been forwarded to major crimes detectives. Such a move is made when additional investigative tools, such as the ability to obtain deleted information off a phone, are needed, she said.

So major crimes detectives were "helping out" ;) as soon as Tuesday. I also thought the part of mentioning needing the help to obtain deleted information off of a phone (Gannon's & maybe TS's) was interesting.

I also found a pic of the Metro Crime Lab van parked in front of the house Wed 1/30:

Yeah, I'd say they were suspicious of TS from the start. JMO
Hopefully that suspicion means they have lots of evidence & GPS/tracking info on areas to search and find Gannon!

...or, she memorized an exit number (163) on a circular route, erased search history and left the phone behind. JMO

Edited to add: Oop I was referring to Monday. My bad. :D

We can't really speak about what we might know of Sunday night, but based on what we can speak about, such family disagreements that could cause wood to be thrown or blood to be on wood...might be loud?

Don't know. I don't think the kids were in bed when it went down, MOO. Well, one might have been in bed but i no way asleep, given the drama that may have gone down. Intuition only here.

If she hurt him Sunday night and didn’t take him out of house u til Monday at 10 she must have taken his phone away so he couldn’t text his parents or friends. I wonder if his mom or dad tried to reach him Sunday night. Anyone know what time the supposed accidental video she took was time stamped? And that time might be a lie.

Can anything TS said in her rants to the wind be used against her in a court of law? I would think the backward interview could because proof but, how about all the changes in her story in general if not made to LE?
Yes, anything she said in her statements to the media, on line, in text messages, or to other people, can all be used as evidence against her.

From the beginning she set out to sabatoge the investigation but in the end it will be her undoing.

Imo

One thing I’m almost sure of is she took his phone away from him on Sunday night so he could not contact his parents. In fact I bet she contacted dad to say he got himself into some trouble and he was sorry about what he did.
