Interesting - I hope LE have searched it already! Although, I struggle to imagine she wasn’t seen in daylight.

I agree with the 'being seen' at this spot, however, a mom, and her son, walking down that path, playing on those rocks, Gannon already medicated, taking selfies.

But I do doubt this to be THE place, but it shows the type of places that are possible,.

I don't think he was -- until after she was arrested.

I haven't seen any approved or unapproved information that AS was intending to divorce LS prior to Gannon missing. But, I do not engage in SM and may be out of the loop.

During the DAWP interview, she claims they were going on a cruise to celebrate their anniversary.

If I was her defense (and I am not), I'd want the affidavit sealed at least until the jury is selected. I'd file all available motions to tightly button-up the possibility of an appeal in the event of a conviction.

During the Advisement hearing, TS appeared to defer to Kathryn Strobel in response to questioning. IMOO, Attorney Strobel did not mince or sugar coat her words at their first meeting. And she may realize TS as a risk of blaming counsel for any conviction.

A loose cannon, TS is a land mine to the entire judicial system.

Oh yeah, that’s great for a murderer to get these “rights”. Sarcasm intended.

I won’t call them “rights” because Gannon is the only one here with rights. Right to be located and brought home for burial.
Right for justice.

The attorney can spare me hearing about any fairness for the killer.

I’ve been hesitant about posting this but it keeps coming to my mind every time I hear PetCo. Some time back there was a missing young lady. Sorry I’m not sure about details, I may even remember wrong. Anyway, they searched, her car was in the parking lot of a local shopping center, and they ended up finding her up on the roof of the building dead. I’m not sure why but my mind keeps going to that case when I think of Petco. It seems far fetched due to being seen and how hard it would be to get up there but just a thought I had to share.

Is LE allowed to record her conversations with them while she is being transported? And is it admissible in court?

Really all they have to do is tell her the transport van is recorded and that’s sufficient notice, and then yes, anything she says that is NOT the subject of non-mirandized questioning can be admissible.

Actually, this is the EXACT type of thing I suspect we'll find. I truly think LS chose a very unique hiding place for Gannon.....a place where she is confident he'll never be found.....a place we'd never dream of.

Am reading through and want to share my thoughts on what TS said here in the phone call recording.

I believe TS has disassociated herself from what she did to Gannon. I lean towards her losing her temper with Gannon on the Sunday night. I personally don't think there was past physical abuse..although i do think there was subtle psychological abuse. (manipulation and ongoing subtle negative comments)

Just my opinion.. I think there is some trigger about the dogs/Petco and that it relates somehow.

I brought up this very thing about 4 threads ago. We discussed that she changed tense when started speaking about the dogs. I went as far as putting a tip into LE based on my observations.

Although simple overmedication could cause drowsiness, it would take a lot of trauma for a young boy not to instinctively pick up the item that fell from the truck when he opened the door on Monday IF he were able.

I remember that. I think she was accidentally strangled by her scarf and some sort of exhaust fan or something up there. It got tangled in the fan? She had just gone up there to hang out or smoke pot or something?

Sorry i missed your post. I am pleased you called it in as a tip. After listening to the recorded phone call and noting her resistance to talk about Petco..i sort of wondered whether her changing to past tense about Gannon in that interview (re - the dogs) and Petco - that there is a reason for it.

Just... imagine how Al must feel... sleeping next to someone for years, sharing your life with them, entrusting your beloved children with them, and then your kid goes missing because of them.

I can't wrap my head around it.

Letecia Stauch to make first appearance in El Paso County court

COLORADO SPRINGS — The woman accused of killing her 11-year-old stepson is going to make her first appearance in court Wednesday afternoon where she will be advised of the charges against her.

The arrest of Gannon's stepmother, Letecia Stauch, was a result of thousands of hours spent in the investigation and searching for Gannon, who investigators said they do not believe is alive. The sheriff's office said they have not found Gannon and will continue investigation efforts.

Letecia Stauch was arrested on March 2 on the following charges:

• 1st Degree Murder (victim under 12) by a person in position of trust (Class 1 Felony)
• Child abuse resulting in death (Class 2 Felony)
• Tampering with a deceased body (Class 3 Felony)
• Tampering with physical evidence (Class 6 Felony)
