A photo of the 9 mm gun is now shown to the court. You can see a picture of #Gannon next to the gun on the dresser, along with a stuffed animal on the other side.

The DNA profile on the gun matched #LeteciaStauch. Al's DNA was also found, but the major profile was Letecia's.

Cross examination from Mr. Cook now. Asking about where the DNA swabs were done on the gun. "three people hit on that DNA, two of them were male?" "That's right." (We know one was Al, don't know the other person mentioned. THIS DOES NOT IMPLICATE HIM, HE'S NOT BEING CHARGED

"Did you notice a pattern of blood throughout the house?" Hubbell says they started in garage, went to laundry room, hits led to the hallway, then living room, followed down stairs, more hits, past basement family room, through storage room...to Gannon's room.

Says the trail was complete and solid all the way through the house. Says he can see a full trail with Blue Star from his bedroom to the garage.

. Just omg is that how he got the defensive cuts was she stabbing him as he ran away from her then she ended it in his bedroom jmoo what a evil witch she is the anger she let loose on that boy ,I wish they had the death penalty for this

So did she attack him in the garage and take him downstairs to his bedroom and continue beating him then shot him? and used the pillows to silence it?

The gunshot wound was to #Gannon's lower left jaw area. There was a projectile recovered from his skull. That was sent to the El Paso County Sheriff's Office. During an X-ray, two projectiles were found in a pillow.
--
Gannon suffered a gunshot wound to his jaw, and apparent stab wounds to his chest and back, Yoder testifies. His skull was fractured. He also had injuries on his hands and arms that appeared to be defensive wounds, Yoder testified.

Now, Sgt. Hubble's cross-examination. Will Cook walks up to the podium.

The defense says there was a mixture of DNA on the gun. "Presumably, you have three different individuals DNA on that gun."

It was two males and one female. @KOAAhttps://twitter.com/colettebordelon/status/1436060447598317581?s=21

"There was multiple profiles that were detected, yes," says Sgt. Hubble.

Now, Cook wants to talk more about Bluestar. "I know that if it fluoresces, we're going to test it," said Sgt. Hubble.

There was a technical problem with the camera of a crime scene investigator when trying to photograph some of the Bluestar tests.

It's the same camera that took the picture of the reaction in the garage near the stairs.

"He was having issues, and it was not working correctly."

HH was not a ten year old. But even a ten year old would have known things were not right. Gannon goes missing and you just leave town? No. HH knew something. I don't know what. And I will blame LS, for now.

HH wasn't 10 but she was only 17, about 6 years older than GS. At this point I can't blame her for not turning on her mother early on but we'll see what the evidence shows at trial. And maybe HH should have known earlier that LS did something to GS. But there were adults who thought it was ok to leave LS with kids. If understanding we now have the benefit of hindsight allows us to explain why one group didn't see what likely was going on before Jan 27, HH should get the same consideration after Jan 27.

Back to #GannonStauch room, with a naked eye Sgt. Hubbell said you couldn't see the blood on the carpet. However, he said the stain on the cement you could visibly see, there was no agent added to it.

Sgt. Hubbell wanted to make it clear that when he touched the carpet he contaminated the scene and it was a mistake and made it known in his report. He, however, wore gloves when looking at the gun.

That's all from the defense, and there will be no re-direct from the prosecution.

The next witness is Special Agent Andrew Cohen of the FBI. @KOAA
The FBI really acted in a supporting role to the El Paso County Sheriff's Office, according to Agent Cohen.

Agent Cohen was the lead case agent on the #GannonStauch investigation for the FBI.
"In a case like this, would it be typical to look at closely associated people as potential suspects?"
"Absolutely," replies Agent Cohen, who said there was no evidence to suggest Al Stauch was involved in #GannonStauch's death. He was in Oklahoma at the time.
