Eeeek, I hope a certain someone doesn't see or hear about the report on the 20th from your link regarding the young male being afraid and going to the nearest house to call 911 about a truck with a man dressed in black following and trying to approach him. I think she'd latch onto that one.
Yes, I was looking at their blotter the other day. It had three reports stating assistance was needed by an outside agency around the areas they were searching in Palmer Lake. The address was blocked along with other details. There was no resolution listed as there were with others. I found that interesting.

Spent a little time looking at the crime and statistics near the house. I was actually a little surprised tbh. Guess I will look at it all until there's an arrest or at the very least named POI because I think there will be. Definitely not a fan of one certain someone's actions and I think behaviors are way off.

Curious as to how a registered sex offenders do so if they don't have an address. Just something I've never thought of. Below are how they are listed in the area of the house. Defeats the purpose of being registered IMO. Is this how it is everywhere? Does anyone happen to know?

0000 Lacks A Fixed Residence, Colorado Springs, CO 80903
0000 Homeless
Colorado Springs, CO 80903

Just curious if anything. :)
We have a large homeless population here in Colorado Springs. Rent is high. Real estate is high. And everything is getting higher. This is pretty standard here as far as addresses for homeless people. Sometimes it will list a bridge or intersection area the person is known to "reside" around. I'm sure there are registered offenders in that population group who have to have addresses listed that way.

That was the first thing I noticed. Saw it early this am when I should have been sleeping. Lol

Thank you. I figured that was the problem as it's like that from where I'm from as well. Sadly it's all over. I've been there and never felt unsafe.

That spot makes a lot of sense to me if someone had not planned it all out and was halfway winging it. Especially multiple stops to find a place that you could be hidden.
Does this spot make sense if someone doesn't have their phone to use for directions but is familiar with the busier roads? I keep thinking she went just far enough off the busy road that she could find her way back by memory because she didn't have a GPS.

I was rewatching the video that the neighbor released. Rewinding and pausing, etc. In the beginning of the video, where you see TS. Kind of looks like a man to me?? Looks like a male leaving with GS and a female returning alone! Anyone else notice this? IMO

Could it be to protect the scene where they were sifting and flagging? They may have had every hand on deck and needed more for traffic control and to keep reporters back. That might not have a resolution. Just a wild guess, I don't know but it certainly is of interest.

I was thinking about his weight last night as I carried my sleeping 60 lb child from my bed to his. I am in pretty good shape and work out regularly but probably around the same size as SM. Not a big female but not tiny either. I think it would be difficult to carry this amount of dead weight very far, especially over difficult terrain.
With that being said, adrenaline is an amazing thing and who knows what she could do when pumped up to get a job done.
who is to say he was carried?
It's quite possible he had to walk to his final place.
He was (miraculously) able to walk to vehicle at 10.13am.
There is nothing to suggest he didn't walk again until his ability to walk was stopped forever

I prayed for Gannon for hours last night because I couldn't fall asleep. Just thinking about the living hell his parents are going through right now is ripping a hole in my heart. I haven't watched the LH interview, I just can't handle it. But from reading the transcripts THAT is how you should act if your child is missing. It is a normal reaction, unlike so many we have seen here from guilty parties.
Seems like, even though Gannon lived in another state, he was very close to his mother. I wonder if he ever confided in her about his treatment by SM, or weird things she did. One of my boys would tell me every little detail. The other wouldn't tell me if he thought it would hurt me or make me worry.

Let me ask this question. If SM was not involved, what do you think happened? Pedophile abduction while he was walking down the road? Plowed into a snow bank by accident in the dark? Wandered off to hide and passed from exposure? Still out there hiding and not knowing he is being searched for?
Given the way she has reacted, I can't come up with one scenario where she was not involved. But if I had to, I would guess he left or "ran away" because she hurt him somehow or he was scared and then something tragic happened a la Harley Dilly.

<modsnip: quoted post was removed due to discussing non MSM>

That can be true, I probably have to compare the hiking videos. When the truck returns, the driver appears to be more female. It was very odd, never actually noticed this before.

I've been looking through this off and on this morning to see if anything stands out. I'm only 1/2 awake but I needed something to work with other than the same thing as it was bugging me.

Maybe someone local could tell us if they feel like the current crime for the last month seems normal or it's high. Curious as to why so much happens on Academy. Is it always like that?

Colorado Springs Police Department Blotter

FWIW I do remember that in TS's interview (in which she did not face the camera) the reporter apparently edited out some comments she made about crime statistics in the area when she apparently misunderstood his question.

"Innocent until proven guilty" is for the court of law. In our country, it's the government's obligation to make the case of guilt before convicting someone and taking away their liberty. The accused person is not obligated to prove innocence.

WS is not a court of law. This is a crime discussion board. Speculation is allowed here, within the reasonable WS rules that hold the discussions to a higher standard than gossip.

If something walks like a duck, looks like a duck, turns its back on the camera to quack like a duck.....it's very possible "the herd" will think, "that's a duck."

There is no obligation to conclude something is a duck, though! Maybe the duck is a goose. Alternative ideas are welcome on the board.

Oh my gosh! I love this post!

Can you imagine how hard it would be not to literally attack SM and beat the info out of her if you were LH or AS? I know it wouldn't help anything but I'm not sure I could control myself if I were them.
I wonder if they have been interacting with her at all. Surely if she wasn't involved she would still talk/ want to be around her husband?

I will be the first to say “whoa did I have it so wrong.” if it doesn’t somehow center on her. But up to now I have zero information that would make me think he ran away or was abducted. Ze-ro. But there are statistics about who is responsible most of the time when someone is killed or disappeared.
DAs don’t go into missing children’s homes thinking they ran away or were abducted. IMHO

Yeah, the DA's visit to them stands out like a sore thumb. I cannot come up with plausible scenarios that point away from her.

I have so much fear in this case if they don’t find Gannon. No body cases have been won before, but typically when there is a witness/accomplice who talks, or LE finds enough evidence at the home/crime scene to say “blood evidence was found to show loss of life or unsurvivable injuries.” I suspect it is possible that blood was indeed found in or around the home. Based on my theory of what happened to Gannon, and methods that would have been used to silence him, I don’t believe they have that type of “loss of life” evidence as of yet. They may be able to show Gannon left and never returned. They may be able to make a case that foul play was involved. They may even be able to bring charges similar to those Lori Vallow is currently facing. However, without his body, based solely on the facts we know, I don’t know if they could prove a no body case at this point. My heart breaks thinking this could end like the Ayla Reynolds case.

Gannon absolutely has to be found. Both to bring peace to his family, and to bring the guilty party to justice.
IMO JMO MOO
Sometimes lack of evidence is evidence too. Where is the tool he cut his foot on re:Saturday story? Did she bandage the foot and clean the tool? Is it his blood in the garage? Did she actually have a bandaged hand? LE knows.

Speaking on Noe Road as an outsider - the other day when I was "driving" these roads via google maps, I thought it was definitely the road I would turn down if I wanted to get up to something nefarious. My theory is that she was already familiar with that area - (perhaps she's visited Stone Canyon Outdoor Edventures in the past?) and she recalled that there was a dirt road near there.

I honestly thought it was strange that LE was searching the first location because it's so visible from that main highway. When I think of where I would dispose of a body, I always think - ocean, lake, dirt road.

They're nowhere near an ocean. They probably don't have access to a boat. That leaves me with a dirt road.
