I have a similar professional background to T and I'm confident she would've been given training & know about mandated reporting, I was. She would be acutely aware of what an abuse/neglect report or allegation would do to her career. She'd never work in education or a child related field again if found out or an abuse investigation was brought against her. Being an obvious narcissist, she was sure to mention how much she did for those kids and how she cared for them when their BM wouldn't. Translation: I've given up so much for them, I'm a great mom. (Her thoughts, NOT mine.) This would trump getting any help for Gannon if he needed medical attention AND she would say it was his fault due to an "accident." IMHO there was no chance in he!! she would've taken him to a doctor on Monday.

I do think it's from a different day and that LE and neighbor did this release together for some reason. I know it’s not a popular opinion, but I think TS left with Gannon Sunday night and returned alone. That’s when she had the time and some cover of darkness. Monday not much time plus daylight.

Doesn't matter if your opinion is unpopular. It's yours. I have a few on here that aren't very popular too. I think in possibilities and they are endless. If in fact, LE and RD did let the wrong date float around out there, what do you think they hoped to accomplish by doing that? There may even be some night photos that popped up on the video by RD. Wonder if that could have been intentional.

I wouldn’t be surprised if there was some incriminating night footage.

She may have dumped evidence, or made preparations for what she was going to do the next day.

Hell, there may even be audio from what led to all of this.

I pray GS sweet baby sister can speak for him...she was there. Don't know about 'purpose", I do think it's sort of a common question in the teacher's toolbox, I know it's in mine.

Agreed. I was able to find photos of the home (including garage) on several archived sites. It’s smaller than ours and my husband has a daily freak out about the space with his truck and my SUV in an oversized 2car with no clutter to be seen..
Most garages out here are two car garages. But small. We can fit my SUV and hubby's car in ours because he has it organized amazingly. But if I eat more than 2 cookies, I'm squeezing pretty tightly when I get out of mine.

This is so basic that I almost feel silly asking, but I don't know the answer so I'm gonna ask. Does anyone know what model year the truck is based on pics & features? Pretty sure it's a Nissan Frontier. Depending on the year a GPS/navigation system would be a standard feature. So did the truck have one? So basic but I've been researching and they were standard after 2009. Figured someone might be able to pinpoint the year.

I can turn off the navigation off in our car, but GPS is still active. Just a thought if she left the phones at home to avoid GPS.

Pic of truck if it helps someone figure out the model year:

As with the Larkspur search area, it seems like TS would need a prior connection to the area for this idea to work. I can’t imagine that she would head out without a plan.

Being in Co Springs my theory about her (quickly devised) “plan” was simply “water. I will dispose of this in water”. And here in there Springs there is little to none but everyone traveling I 25 sees the signs - “Palmer Lake” so she headed there. And upon arriving found it to be quite open, populated and not at all a place to dispose of whatever she was dumping. So she headed - up the road toward what appeared to head into more wooded areas. And made a turn into what might lead to something more remote, but was simply out of time to really try to get further away. And she found herself in you neck of the woods so to speak. Does this seem plausible to you as one familiar with the area, Silverheels?

Not sure if this was shared, but I found it interesting that they state there will likely be 2 updates a week from here on out.
“We acknowledge the grief and heartache”: Search for Gannon enters fourth week
Thanks, I missed that. I particularly liked this paragraph:

“We want the community to know that in the absence of information that’s provided to the public — does not mean this investigation is slowing down this investigation is absolutely progressing,” Mynatt explained.

That’s not exactly something law enforcement would say if this was merely a missing persons investigation.

We knew that though.

Interviewer:
You were the last one to see Gannon?

LS:
Correct.

Hmmm......... Um...yeah...

I particularly like the awkward BK response.

Interviewer
"So where'd you guys go hiking?

LS/Dr. Stauch/TESM
"Garden of the Gods"

Interviewer
"Garden of the Gods, ok, um I guess when..."

LS/Dr. Stauch/TESM
"And then we ate Burger King afterwards so, you know..." laughs

Interviewer
Shakes head "There ya go..."

Yeah! WTH was that? "So, you know..." No, I don't know. Finish that thought?

Not to read too much into every little thing, but that nervous giggle makes me wonder why she mentioned BK.
I think she mentioned it only because it was true. It gave her satisfaction to be able to prove her critics wrong, on that one irrelevant point (speculation was that she killed Gannon on Saturday).

They went to GOTG’s and Burger King, so what? The bad stuff came later.
