The pickup and dropoff location for the rental seems to be the same Colorado Springs Airport location, based on the redaction being not quite so redacted. The blacked out area didn't quite cover the top few pixels, which seems identical for both pickup and dropoff. And since we know the pickup location, we then also know the dropoff location. I tried zooming in on the attached images, hope it's clear enough.

I was wondering about that too. We just don’t have any LE or MSM confirmation that little sister vouched for it. And little kids can sometimes be coached too...

Did anyone confirm that SM and the kids were at Garden of the Gods on Saturday? I thought there was some sort of confirmation but I can't recall.

I think lil sis would be the first person they talked to, and though possible, I think coaching to that extent is improbable.

I have to say that every once in a while it does occur to me that if TS is just generally unwell and has unhealthy communication traits, she could make herself look guilty even if she wasn’t. But given the pre-spraining of blood etc., my gut keeps bringing me back to her.

So we heard her "excuse' she forgot her cell phone on Monday.
"Stauch admitted that she left her phone at home on January 27," ...what about Tuesday when she had the rental car? Wouldn't you be anxious hoping/praying for a call. If she did have it with her...regardless of where she went, LE would know, would they not?
Yup. If she had her phone, her location data will tell the story.

If she didn’t have her phone, or if it was “dead,” then that’s a horrible look.

A child is missing, and your phone is your lifeline to information.

Until reading about this case, I was unaware of how ubiquitous these cameras have become. I have to imagine they’d potentially yield a ton of information such as the comings and goings of all the various vehicles and family members, perhaps including garage entrance and/or side of house (gate) activity, not sure. If there were odd nighttime car movements, unusual vehicles or visitors, obvious chaos around the garage or the gate, much or all of that may have been recorded, maybe even including some audio. I truly had no idea I was living in such a world and I can only hope those involved in whatever happened to Gannon may have been as ignorant as I was. Ditto for tracking abilities of a child’s electronic games. Something like that would not have occurred to me and I do wonder if the sifting of snow could have been related to this somehow.

Check out these maps to get an idea of how ubiquitous these devices are becoming. These maps only show a small fraction of them too, because they only have data for Ring brand cameras opted-in to their "Neighbors" feature in certain areas. Many areas, non-"Neighbors" Ring cameras, and all other brands are not included. The surveillance coverage these devices have already built is truly astonishing.

Yep. I’ve known a couple people who are...let’s say eccentric personalities...and chronic attention hounds who do illogical, unexplainable things. Some of them might pathologically track every suspicion online and overreact by providing too much info in their defense even if they did nothing. But I think you’re in safe territory. Her words and behaviors just check too many boxes.

Yikes, our air and mountains haven’t made made the majority of us psychopathic or stupid. :( See Dan May.
And nothing against tourists, but we spend a lot of S&R dollars fetching them after they thought they could climb a fourteener.
We didn’t home grow LS, but will likely now have to house and feed her for life. That’s a small price if it means Gannon was found and returned to his real family.

No doubt it's gorgeous out there! Was in Jackson Hole last year. But you have to admit, for some reason, our attention has been in CO in recent history. ;)

Yes, it is possible. Everything is on the table until we know. But doesn’t strike me as super probable. Her behavior in driving a sick child to exchange sporting equipment or offering explanations about blood, vomit and poop become extremely coincidental then. And it would be strange for him to not appear on any of the neighborhood cameras.
She is Psychologically Humiliating him, even now, with her verbiage of pooping in his pants. What parent would say this?? You would say, he had an accident.

Ok. I just am trained to protect against accidentally being biased against someone with bad behaviors. But I can’t shake that she is somehow involved. At least I am not alone.

If I had to pick up someone at the airport around noon, I wouldn't show up 3or4 hours early.

If I had to pick up someone at the airport around noon, and one of my kids was missing, I wouldn't show up at the airport at all. He could get a taxi, red car, or call a friend.

Sorry dear hubby, all my energy must go toward finding my child.

I'm curious again. Lol. Where I live we have traffic camera intersections. They record the vehicles going through , their speed , if they ran a red light ect. If a violation has occurred , you are notified by mail and the police include 2 photos of the vehicle. 1 going through the intersection and 1 close up the plate number. Are there cameras like these in Colorado?
