A sweet older man. So precious! How adorable! I just want to give him a kiss on his head and a special treat for his hard work.

The current weather there has one positive. Cold weather helps preserve evidence and a body more. I have given up hope he will be found alive, sad but true. JMO
Let's backtrack a second.
Thinking about the HB case and her baby. Most of us were certain on the whodunit and were completely wrong.
Is there a theory under which her story COULD check out?
Not likely, not defending, just asking...
He's home sick, she has errands to run, she takes him along.... she leaves him somewhere TO walk home.... expecting he WILL. To learn some lesson. When he doesn't get home, she might realize she can't tell people she ditched him....
A mile from home quickly becomes two miles, after a mile in the wrong direction.
I know everything points to her guilt (her demeanor, topping the list), I just want to make sure I'm looking at this without prejudice.
Is there ANYTHING to support her story?

That’s why her kids are so important.I bet LE wants to know (does know?), too.
When we had the massive searches for Caylee we coordinated through the PIO and when they found her remains I took a cooler of water bottles in - met the detective at the roadblock - they were very grateful. I’m sure you can call or email and say you want to help and if they need it they will tell you how, when and where
That’s been my experience

That was primarily CBI, and as far as I know, they aren’t involved here.Sorry if this has been answered already, but does anyone know if these are the same investigators that worked on the Watts or Bereth case?
I was looking at the Co. Parks & Rec twitter for updates and I see that they posted some doorbell cam footage of a cougar prowling in front of a house. I forgot about wildlife playing a factor in this if he is out in the elements. Or, animal predation on a body
How can a person be injured so that evidence is left in one place, but then they're able to walk to a vehicle?
Head trauma? And yes, he'd have an upset stomach from that...
BBM:
Thank you for giving me the perfect opening!
It occurs to me that there are probably many, many posters here who are unfamiliar with District Attorney Dan May.
In fact, a lot of people here are probably asking themselves, "Who is this May guy, and why is everyone so ecstatic to see him involved in this case?"
By way of introduction, here is DA May speaking at a press conference after the sentencing hearing for PF's moronic killer:
Watching the video, you come to appreciate the fact that DA May is not just a brilliant prosecutor.
He's a man of integrity.
The Kelsey case exacted a huge emotional toll on him and his prosecution team.
I feel badly that he and his prosecutors are likely going to be dealing with yet another emotionally draining case here.
JMO.
There have definitely been mountain lion and bobcat sightings in the area. We hear coyotes very often as well at night, and we're only about 2-3 miles down the road from where GS lives.
I hate pressing like on something like this. They're obviously not looking for a little boy to take home safely. Not if they're looking into water....From CPW SE's twitter
In response to a mutual aid request from the @EPCSheriff, the@COParksWildlife Marine Evidence Recovery Team deployed to search a small pond near #ColoradoSprings for evidence of a missing boy. CPW's team of experts is specially trained in use of underwater drones. (1 of 2)
The @COParksWildlife Marine Evidence team is using a VideoRay Pro4 ROV remote-operated vehicle w/ sonar & video & manipulator to retrieve underwater evidence. CPW routinely helps agencies statewide search for missing people & evidence. Contact @EPCSheriff for any other info (2/2)

I agree with this, I think something happened Sunday evening that rolled over in the MondayI think something started on Sunday that rolled over into Monday. And then, not sure exactly. Could go many ways. He was hurt physically, or angry and she reacted, or ????? I still want to know where 17 yr old was all day on Monday.
Burns is another possibility...torture...Head trauma like you said. Internal injuries like if she kicked him in the midsection hard enough. So blood, vomit, maybe?
That’s why her kids are so important.
Surveillance footage and cell phone data should hopefully fill in the gaps.
I think, IMO, evidence was thrown into the water. I think he is elsewhere. JMOIf they're searching with the submersible for EVIDENCE, is that word just a sanitized catchall to include physical evidence and a body (I hate typing that.)? Or do you think they have reason to believe there was a separate event, disposing of evidence, perhaps even after the fact?
