My husband and I have watched the surveillance video many times on our large TV tonight. We just really think someone is in the back of the pick up truck when she pulls away with Gannon. It looks empty initially, but after she backs up to the garage and then pulls away... once the truck makes that left hand turn on the road it really looks like someone sits up and moves. MOO

Dog? You'd take a dog on a hike or to Petco

Not sure if anyone here remembers the Roden case out of OH. Just couldn't make sense of who/what happened. Think it was almost a year and half before arrests were made. But somewhere, sometime in these threads sleuthers had gotten the idea it was related to custody of a child. It took a looongg time that theory was mentioned until the time of arrests. I don't think anyone in their wildest dreams could have come up w that scenario, but it did happen and was theorized here well before the eventual reveal happened. I also IIRC believe that sleuthers had also pinned it to those eventually arrested.

She was never named a POI or suspect by LE; however, one of her attorneys called her a "defacto suspect."

If I’m understanding correctly detectives can have a person of interest without releasing this information to the public. Basically under wraps.
Kyron Horman’s stepmom was the last person to see him. That lady’s still free and still walking the streets. Not sure if LE announced if she was a person of interest.
Thanks gitani1 for clearing that up.

Are you talking about the video they showed where you can see the black SUV also backing up when the truck was pulling forward/parking?
If so, I think it was a different day, like a few days before he disappeared.
With no date stamps, there’s nothing to back the chronology of events, most certainly including my own hypothetical theory he may have been injured Sunday night, the night stills could be attempts to hide evidence on Sunday (or even Monday) night depending if he was intentionally or accidentally injured. Depending on what decision was made thereafter; 1. Incident not reported thinking he would be ok, 2. Injured badly enough to take him to the Dr. & risk all finding out said incident occurred & while not having taken immediate action 3. Arriving at the hospital having to explain why they have a close to or lifeless child on their hands 4 Deciding to dispose of GS (Somewhat alive or having seccumb to injuries) to avoid repercussions. All very poor, inexcusable decisions. Again, JMHO.

I had to take a break from WS for a couple of days, trying to catch up but haven’t read through the wealth of new posts.

I’ve watched DR’s video clips, interviews & have taken a hard look at the television stills (definitely more than my eyes have been able to handle.)

IMO everything surveillance related & released by msm is heavily edited. Additionally, I noticed from our local news agencies (ones I’ve been following almost exclusively) certain segments are either no longer available or the contents has been removed (could be purely incidental or intended to free up web content storage)

What we know via msm...

1. DR is concerned, revisits his camera system, between Saturday and Monday of when GS was reported missing, finds footage shares with AS & forwards to LE. DR claims AS identifies TS in footage & TS lied about GS going to a friends house. During msm interviews DR says he would like to see the family get closure and questions what TS did with GS if she did not return home with him on Monday afternoon. DR describes his camera system includes audio and it’s sensitivity is pretty good as it is able to pick up various neighborhood sounds (ie conversation, garage doors etc.)

2. There is limited information on the hike ie how many people? who went? time frame?

3. The most recent presser released by LE with the both parents & young daughter; LH places emphasis in her request ... if anyone has any information please come forward, don’t be afraid to come forward ...

4. Interview with TS is intriguingly telling.
-TS insists GS is not deceased, wants GS home (albeit, I can’t recall her saying—safely)
-When describing GS she states: he enjoys video games, is cooperative when asked to do things, he’s helpful with the dogs and around the house, she mentions their 2 cute little dogs, but at times, like most kids he needs reminding
-She doesn’t want to expose her family to negative speculation from social media, wants to protect her family. Disassociates herself during the introduction “ TS who is GS’s step mother”
-Makes mention of her 17 year old daughter, “a child,” who serves in the Air Force, never committed a crime in her life & was handcuffed for keys to her vehicle. TS follows by asking her daughter to corroborate GS’s whereabouts on Sunday by verifying he was home that night.
-TS looks forward to the reveal of the investigation to validate she didn’t cause GS harm

IMHO & mostly speculative....
LE may have intentionally leaked the surveillance footage to get witnesses to come forward. If the footage is accurate to any degree, it appears to include multiple vehicles & could be indicative of multiple people involved. Let’s ask ourselves these questions...
What type of visual content does msm typically distort?
What type of person would be afraid to come forward with information?
What groups of people congregate at night?
What social groups are known to gossip, spread rumors, keep secrets?
Under what conditions would a mother lie?
When asked to attest to someone’s character particularly involving a crime what would their narrative sound like?

It may be far fetched & entirely hypothetical, but what if an unintentional accident occurred near the home, at night. The accident evolved into something much more than the participants expected & TS was confronted with having to decide between the lives of 2 people. Evidence needed to be destroyed. Listening to TS’s narrative it’s almost as if she described what occurred. GS was playing video games, he was asked to walk the dogs, got distracted by his game but still had a task to do. Now it’s dark, the roads are wet, GS meets with a careless driver. GS seems to be ok, but in actuality sustained injuries that were beyond their ability to treat and/or try to explain. IMO IMO IMO

It’s time for people to fess up so this little boy can come home...I hope & pray he makes it back safely.
I get where you’re headed, and many of the pieces we know about would fit. I suspect IF this is what happened, the incident occurred in the home. If outside, it’s likely a witness would have seen/heard something or a doorbell cam would have picked up the disturbance. Even at night.

It's pretty hard to move two young bio children out of the state where they and their mother reside with joint custody. I'm thinking the story about her letting them go due to hospitalization/illness is correct. Does the bio mom have a new husband/family? I haven't heard that she does.
Sleuthing family is not permitted here, according to the rules. :)

Can you screen shot that and circle it? I'd love to see it!

Well that's chilling.
The in-store cams might show what exactly what was purchased.
No intent to dispute guilt here, but if someone with 2 dogs buys 3 sweaters IMO the most likely explanations are 1) one is a gift or 2) they weren’t sure which size would fit one of the dogs so they bought both thinking they’d return the one that didn’t fit.
(I’ve done that myself with harnesses and collars several times)

Sheriff's Office Update on Gannon Stauch Case

Was I dreaming this or actually heard it? When the TS interview first came out I swore she said her and her family were up late making the posters and flyers. Now every time I watch the video there is no mention. Does anyone else remember her saying this? Could it have been edited out?
