erm, no, I don't think they will - they will say she was sane but evil and hateful. But I don't see them claiming what she did is normal.

This defense really hasn't got much to go on besides the sympathy tough childhood and she must not be sane because of what she did defense. unimpressed.

There is no reason, it doesn’t make sense. There is no reason in the world to explain why she tortured, abused and killed an innocent child left in her care. But she did, and a lack of reasoning doesn’t make her “insane”.

I am struggling to listen to the details in person so I’m relying on you wonderful folk to fill me in.
