Shooting survivor Joshua Nowlan on once he got to the hospital: "That's when it set in. I've been shot. And the pain overwhelmed me completely."

Shooting survivor Joshua Nowlan said he screamed for pain meds but a doctor came and asked if he had military experience, and if he understood triage, and said that others had to be treated first.

I am so glad Mr. Nowlan is able to look back and laugh at some of this, even though not a bit of it is truly funny, what an amazing characteristic to have.

Doc said I can’t get to you right now because more are critical. He said he understood. 20-30 m before doc saw

They are now discussing the tatoo that he had on his back of a bird.... and in the context of skin grafting. I'm thinking we are seeing that in this photo.

Me too. He is very courageous, protecting his friends wife? Color me impressed because I know some couples where I am not sure the husband would protect his own wife in these circumstances. Then to tell officers to take someone more injured, when in all actuality he couldn't have known how serious his wounds were. What a selfless brave soul, we could all probably learn a thing or two from him!

Oh wow, so his tattoo went from his back to his arm? Neatest thing I have ever seen regarding a skin graft!

Have an appointment, back in one hour. will post tweets then if anyone needs a break

And sorry to flood with posts, but is this on any tv channels? Baby girl is about to take a nap and I can put it on!

I think you are correct

a little coming in today - and in the middle of the tweets - but wanted to answer atthelake's question on the margins!

Tried to post updates today...but it now takes 44 seconds to load my update and got too frustrating...and my views on my computer screen with blank space/ads to the right (although another thread) are two words in width for what I'm wanting to see and read.

I'll walk for a bit from threads as too frustrating.

:banghead:

Not sure what is going on but .... carry on for those that aren't having issues.

:banghead: no more - here's what you do:

think it is here to stay, but I have a suggestion if you are brave enough to try it. What I posted above about the skins appears to have changed my setting for my PC also, and I have a whole width page of posts, no ads in a column down the right side. Try this:

go to your general settings. (can access it from the top of this page under Forum Actions)
scroll down to Forum Skin.
Choose WS Mobile.
If you get some kind of message similar to "this is not supported on your ____", click on FULL SITE just below that. {actually it is at the TOP of the page - at least that's where I found it}

That should be all you need, and the left column of ads is gone. Let me know if it worked for anyone. If it didn't work, go back and re-do and make sure to click on Save Changes.

before we get started with court.....i just wanted to say something......

i hope that the little bit of levity i might bring to this thread is not mis-interpreted as that would break my heart.......

i am an old legal junkie from way back, here and in real life and have never disclosed my career and won't now....but believe me i only have the best of well intentions for all victims and defendants and fairness of the law, it is my calling and passion......i find a bit of levity can break the tension and see us through these gut-wrenching cases and it has saved my sanity many a times thru the years....

i mean no disrespect to anyone and pray it is not seen that way....i do these tweets and take down live stream action when i can to help out those with bandwidths issues or those who cannot view court action during the day for whatever the reason and am happy to do so.......

please know i don't take the situation lightly.....i don't.....we all know why we are here as i reflect in my picture of the deceased and saying of the injured and all loved ones of theirs in my prior post......

let justice, whichever legal finding that may be, prevail.....

queenie

queenie - we always need a bit of laughter in the middle of these heinous crimes - Great post!
and a Bee Orchid for your tweets!
