I don't think we can say with any certainty that is blood stained ground. It looks too bright to me. Could be red pieces of fabric, or red flags stuck into the ground where evidence was found.

You can see the color of the ground in the video from one of the helicopter flyovers when the body was still there (covered with a blanket, with a piece of clear plastic bag or sheet just to the side of the covered body .. one of the investigators picked up the bag/sheet just when they removed the body from the side of the hill) .. it, indeed, does appear to be blood-stained.

Read in article that Jessica has a sore on top of her nose below where her glasses sit that "doesn't heal"???????!!!!! Good Grief! Did this child have cancer!?

I'm way behind but I'd hate to see this take on a life of its on so I want to jump in and say my youngest and 2 of my nieces have this problem. Their glasses seem to rub a perpetual sore right on the bridge of their noses. Both of the nieces' moms and I have tried countless things to correct this but nothing has worked. Their eye doctor says it is because all 3 of them fiddle with their glasses when they are concentrating on something (reading, tests etc). My son is transitioning to contacts but the girls are not interested.

*one of the nieces looks so much like Jessica that it is eerie and this is just one more aspect that really endeared Jessica to me.

Correct, 1600 hrs in Denver is 1700 CST, and 1800 Eastern...

Now, I was on my facebook just pittling about since its my Birthday today. (very sad day indeed) and Logan County Sheriff Dept released a copy of the "stranger danger" list that is broadcast right now on MSM. Well, then they said, "in light of the suspicious activities going on in Logan county" follow these instructions/steps. So I thought "What suspicious activity?" They did mention Jessica and also the little girl in Wyoming that got away. But also lead me to believe something had happened in my county. So I asked and one of the investigators advised me to go to the Sheriff office page. Okay, so I did....then went on to our local paper....this is what I saw....Now probably not related, but who knows? Very very scary....

This just happened this morning, there was also mention of other suspicious things happening, I am keeping my ear to the ground, this is small town, so will hear what it is eventually.... I have an eleven year old, so this doubley freaks me out....

Hate to make light of the girl's fear but could this just be a guy running for exercise? Maybe she was overly scared because of Jessica's disappearance so she imagined he was chasing her.
I doubt if a grown man would chase a girl down the street on foot with the intention of kidnapping her, especially close to school. Wouldn't there be other kids and parents to have witnessed this?
No reflection on you. I don't blame you for checking this out and posting, but it just seems unlikely the way it's described, unless he had an accomplice driving behind him in order to get her into the vehicle quickly. That could be possible.
But this is why LE does not often issue warnings to the public about kidnappings, etc. It causes people to panic and that causes them to call in reports about kidnapping attemts, which turn out most of the time to be completely innocent. The same thing happened in the two girls' in Iowa's case recently, as well as other cases. LE is obligated to check all those calls out and it slows them down.

I just wanted to say THANK YOU TO LAW ENFORCEMENT!! I believe they have worked tirelessly on this case! So far, IMO, they have been class acts! My heart goes out to them, for all they are enduring with the latest discoveries. They all are someone's mother, daughter, father or son! When there is a child involved, it's especially difficult.

I've been here...had a feed hot on the net and the reporter didn't realize it.....feel sorry for them but fascinating information we're seeing/hearing out of Denver.
