I don't. Thanksgiving is a lot of work made ahead of time and Grandmas get to pass the torch. We had Thanksgiving at our son's home. We let them do the work. Family recipes are meant to be handed down. JMO
Agree. Besides this does not sound that much like a family home if they moved here when Patrick was in high school.

Metal wouldn't be accepted? We have Waste Management and they accept metal here including aluminum and steel. JMO

Sure, they accept metal, but I have never heard of a septic tank being metal. I could be wrong, but I only know of concrete, plastic, or fiberglass septic tanks.

I believe they use whatever means to get the dog to it's new home. I was browsing someone's page last night and she had a dog that needed "to catch a ride" with someone to another state -- think it was Texas or New Mexico.
He frequently used livestock long haulers to transport his dogs.

Huh? I guess I don't understand the relevance of attachment or 2010 record of breeder and owner. That was 8 years ago.
Tells us he has contacts in Gooding and is probably very familiar with it. Also, if you breed good pups, especially cowdogs, their friends will contact you for pups. My mom bred chihuahuas for years, but quit because of her age 15 years ago. People still call her asking if she has puppies.

I think this case is going to break soon.

I know LE may be just turning up the pressure to get PF talking more, but it seems possible they found something of significant interest if they sent 5 vehicles—from different agencies—back to the property.

I don’t know if the trash dump was connected or not, but if I were PF under these circumstances, I wouldn’t be accompanying people to the dump. That just doesn’t make sense why you’d risk being seen there, even if you didn’t get out of the vehicle.

I can’t think of any cases (besides serial killers) that disposed of the body and all the related evidence on their own property. This would be very unusual. I think he hightailed it during the night to Idaho with her body, purse and keys.

Yes, there was a case where a man who put the body of his pregnant girlfriend along with her purse into a barrel full of chemicals and put it in his basement/crawl space. When the house was later bought by someone, they saw the barrel and eventually opened it. IIRC, there was an address book and all kinds of evidence in the purse.

Holly Maddux's body was in a trunk in Ira Einhorn's closet. Quite a few wife killers have buried the bodies in their basements.

But I agree with you, if he has any sense at all, KB is not there. I would not be surprised if she is found at the foot of a cliff somewhere. I hope she's still alive, but if not, I hope her body is found.

He buried his victims in flowerpots of his landscape customers homes. he lived in an apartment.

It is more likely they were digging up the septic area to take a pipe and test it for dna that he may have washed down the sink during clean up vs looking for a body that may have been dumped.

Maybe they went back to tack sections of plumbing from inside the house if they found something in the pipe of the septic system. Who knows, hopefully we will eventually find out, and KB's family can have peace.

That's what I was thinking. They may have checked the traps for blood.

LE digging that area up is interesting. But a HRD K9 would know the difference between human & animal remains. The animal remains would have been ignored. Unless of course a dog alerted in that location.

Something compelled LE to dig there.

Maybe, but I also think LE might have dug that hole next to his house to remind him he's under investigation.

Hmm.... Why Gooding????

Welcome to Gooding, Idaho

Cattle and sheep ranching, irrigated and dry farming contribute much to the economy of Gooding, the trading center of one of the richest irrigated agricultural districts in the United States. Gooding is home to several trucking lines.

Gooding boasts an industrial park located along he Union Pacific mainline. The location of the Union Pacific mainline is a strong transportation component and is augmented by easy access to the interstate highway system. The business park offers sites appropriate to both light and heavy industry. The Gooding Airport is city owned, located just a short distance outside the city limits.

Gooding is also home to Gooding Pro Rodeo - now in it's 93rd year.

Gooding, Idaho has had a family that promotes Spring and Summer Jackpot Team Ropings for many years also.

The case that comes to mind where a perp used his own property for murders and kidnapping was the Todd Kohlhepp case.

Brown says. “He says he’s dead and buried, he says there’s several bodies dead and buried out here and he says the dogs won’t find them if they go looking because of the red pepper.”

In chilling videos, kidnap victim describes captivity under Kohlhepp

Yeah, I agree.

Two things trouble me.

I mentioned this, but most people don’t like to hold on to dead bodies for any length of time.

2-3 days is a long time.

Most killers don’t like to travel a long distance with a body in their possession.

If the usual rules apply, that body should be a hell of a lot closer to home than Idaho.

That phone activity and her body, may not be close together.
Me too, and it wasn’t a restaurant. She was cooking something to bring to a dinner is my belief. She wanted to make and bring something her mother probably made for Thanksgiving’s is my guess.

I do think she was going out to dinner, but no one I know ever says I'm going out to dinner meaning someone else's house. I think the plan was a restaurant when he picked her up. MOO.

Would red pepper spread near bodies harm search dogs or only throw them off? Would a cattle, horse, dog person use, be aware or buy substances like this to use on a regular basis (for odors or other purposes)?
