I have a feeling someone helped the investigation along. Maybe PF sent the phone to someone in Idaho and they sent the messages. Maybe somehow LE uncovered this information and contacted that individual who then provided more details for LE to work with......last night seemed like a huge push by LE based upon information they knew what to look for. IMO

I'm a former ENT nurse - keep her hydrated. The #1 rule of pain control following a tonsillectomy is keeping the throat moist. I recommend a nice warm bath with no fan during recovery to aid in this as well. Expect pain to get better and then increase again around day 7 - this is when the scabs start to slough off. I also had mine out at 21 and it was miserable but I was SO SO SO happy when it was over. One of the best things I ever did for myself. Good luck!

It's not just your opinion - it was very clearly stated in the presser that the ping was correct but that the phone has not yet been recovered.
I add a MOO any time I don't provide a link. (Habit!) ;):p:)

You're right, they said this in the PC. Information or interviews led to the acceleration.

Just thinking here. Solicitation in Colorado isn’t necessarily solicitation to commit murder. It’s solicitation to commit a crime.

Possibilities that I’m thinking:
  1. PF asked someone to kill KB and they did it.
  2. PF asked someone to kill KB but he ended up killing her himself.
  3. PF asked someone to do something short of killing KB. But in the course of doing it, death occurred.
  4. PF killed KB himself but then solicited someone after the fact to assist in some aspect of disposal and/or cover-up.
Any other thoughts?
It sounds to me like it was his uncle or someone driving his uncle's red truck, since the neighbor coming forward and saying there were two red trucks at his property was a tipping point. I feel strongly he tried to enlist someone else in his immediate family for help disposing of evidence.

Nothing new in this article; just posting for the photos.

Fiancee of missing Colorado mom Kelsey Berreth is arrested and charged with murder | Daily Mail Online

Patrick Frazee was served with an arrest warrant early in the morning and then walked away in handcuffs to be charged with first-degree murder as well as solicitation of murder.

Berreth was last seen on Thanksgiving day entering a supermarket near her home in Woodland Park with her infant daughter Kaylee before going to drop the girl off with Frazee at the home he shares with his mother.

Frazee, 32, is the father of the young girl. She is now in protective custody and will soon be reunited with her mother's family.
I pray that k knows that side of the family well enough to be comforted by them. She’s been through a lot.

really? Really? REALLY? MOO

MOO, but I took the OP to mean perhaps the two men at the landfill were working in an undercover/CI capacity for LE. Trying to get PF to incriminate himself or dispose of evidence all under their watchful eye. I guess that couldn't be the case, however, since it was apparently the waste management employees that noticed PF and contacted LE to begin with.

I just read an article that PF is a pilot and flight instructor. This is huge because it means he had access to planes. What if he killed her in the home and then flew her body along with her cell phone to somewhere in Indiana? Maybe this is why they say someone else might be charged.

Link to source about him being pilot/flight instructor:

SHE is the pilot and flight instructor.

"Despite the charge, the body of the 29-year-old pilot and flight instructor has not been found at this time."

Kelsey was a pilot and flight instructor. PF is not.

The phone has not been recovered.

Kelsey Berreth: Patrick Frazee, the fiancé of a missing mom in Colorado, is arrested and booked in her murder - CNN
Berreth's phone did end up in Idaho, De Young confirmed Friday, adding that police are still working to recover it.
MOO

I am still focused on the comment they made about the phone. Berreth's phone did end up in Idaho, De Young confirmed Friday, adding that police are still working to recover it. If they know the phone was indeed in Idaho, do we assume the authorities in Idaho now have it and "working on recovering it" means getting it to their Colorado facilities. Maybe it was turned over late yesterday. I guess I just assumed someone he knew in Idaho had that phone and ultimately provided the phone and the details which led to the arrest.

"Frazee was booked on suspicion of first-degree murder and solicitation to commit murder in the first degree, said 4th Judicial District Attorney Dan May.

When reporters asked for specification on what the latter meant, May said it's illegal to "solicit somebody to commit another crime," whether it’s burglary, robbery or murder.

"(It's a crime) if you're soliciting someone to help out, and it isn't just a discussion, but you've done something that shows the firmness of your actions of which you intended to do," May said.

When asked whether more arrests could be coming, De Young said, “That’s an absolute possibility.”

May said details about the solicitation charge will be released when Frazee is formally charged, which he expects to occur in about 10 days at a court hearing.

Frazee was booked into the Teller County Jail in Divide on Friday morning.

The arrest affidavit is sealed, May said, and it could be up to a month before a judge decides whether to unseal documents related to the case."

The police chief refused to reveal any motive for the slaying. He said evidence gathered at Berreth’s home led investigators to believe that her death occurred there.

“Investigators have recovered items at Kelsey’s residence to make us believe the crime happened there,” De Young said.

He also said: “As you can tell, sadly, we do not believe Kelsey is alive.”

One of Kelsey’s vehicles is a red truck. So a neighbor seeing “both red trucks” was I think just seeing her truck and PF’s.
