They are all different. And speaking of SP it's so odd that he was so dismayed by the thought of being trapped by his own offspring yet willingly dated a woman with a child. A truly single mother who it seemed had full time care of her kid.

But SP feels like the opposite of PF - disgusted by the thought of having a child he created on this earth. I think he felt the baby was parasitically trapping him.

But one other thing that may link them all is some sort of familial enmeshment or serious dysfunction. CW and SP were similar in their narcissistic panic about being unmasked and found to be imperfect. PF is a different breed. He seems to enjoy having people think he's a sinister creep.

However, his situation living at his mom's despite having a baby and fiancée right down the street, smack of some sort of enmeshment or dependency to me.

It will be interesting to see how his family acts as this case goes along.

I think, for a lot of these guys (SP, etc.) that long-term planning/thinking, isn't part of their process. They are focused on the immediate. And, they search for "perfect love" w/o realizing that it doesn't exist, for anyone. Each new conquest will be "the one". And part of the allure for them is the "conquest" portion. They are fixated on winning. Look what I won! When they realize she isn't "the one", they move on to the next. Most don't murder, but true sociopaths can.

This may be a touchy subject with some posters but here goes:
I understand that CO has the death penalty, yet it is not of much consequence as no one has been put to death in 20 some years. Maybe it's a good thing I'm not in charge. I can't get it out of my mind that PF and other perps like him get to "torture" the families of their victims until they die, not knowing where there loved one is. If it were in my power, I would reserve the death penalty for these murderous scum, leverage if you will.
Honestly, the “news that was to be” uproar came from one tweet by a news reporter, which could have been for hype, and the admin of an unofficial Facebook group dangling a carrot. It really might have been nothing. You had people claiming to be locals saying there were tons of LE at KB’s house, and then someone drove by and no one was there at all. You had people listening to a scanner saying a coroner was called, which was for a totally unrelated case. LE was contacted by reporters and they said nothing was going on. And I believe that.
I was actually wondering if she was looking for some kind of confirmation on the "breaking" gossip out there which may or may not have basis in fact. Even some MSM are not immune to to indulging in tabloid journalism at times.

I never understood how LE concluded her death occurred ON Thursday, and not Friday. IMO, he must have told someone what he did. I realize that maybe he had an alibi. If he was nursing his time with an out of town visitor, if he had spent Thanksgiving and the rest of the holiday weekend in the same household as that person, perhaps it helped to establish a timeline.
The report I read is that she was "believed" to have been killed on Thursday.

I'm wondering if it had something to do with the "breaking" gossip/rumour mill that was posted here and then promptly removed? She mentions in her tweet "new developments", "no, can't report them yet." Hmmmm.
That rumor mill has been going on for several weeks, just not brought up here. There was LE and a coroner in WP that turned out to be a suicide and not related to KB. Bet the reporter thought KB was being found.

I’m not surprised that no one saw or heard anything, it was a holiday weekend after all.

When he did remove her body from that house, I’m sure it was under the cover of darkness.

I too believe she’s likely close. I think he’s the only one who knows where she is, and he isn’t about to talk.

I’m curious as to what the trigger was, as if she had plans to move (possible custodial trigger), we certainly haven’t heard anything to that effect.

It’ll remain a mystery for now.
From my past experience dealing with a suspected narcissistic
psychopath (IMO), the trigger can be something as simple as
disagreeing with them, or taking a stand that they disagree with,
or doing something that in their eyes and fragile ego- makes
them look bad to others.
It doesn't need to be a big deal. Small things can set them off.
And usually RAGE follows. It becomes their habit. It's how
they get their way and control things and PEOPLE in their life.
This behavior works for them. My guess is PF treated his
mother the same way and she complied with him because it
was easier than bucking him. She needed his help on the
property and he needed the free ride he got from her.
It becomes a sick symbiotic relationship.
KB did not follow his plan. KB bucked his system and she
paid the ultimate price.
Our prisons are full of PF's.

One of the articles I read referenced a murder where the husband murdered his wife because she laughed at him. There really is no way to understand that kind of behavior.

Yup. I think he went to visit someone there and used it as an opportunity to send the messages and then ditch the phone while there.
In that case he must have left his phone at home OR, someone returning home from Florissant took it for a ride and sent those texts.

What suicide happened last night? Sorry if this is obvious info everyone knows...
Teller County Sheriff didn't say, all they said was that there was a suicide in Woodland Park, unrelated to the case.
Just adding that about the time the reporter SB put out her twitter, a coroner was called to woodland park. People thought that it had to do with Kelsey, that she had been found. Several people asked SB what was going on and for over 8 hours she didn't clarify any response. Eventually another reporter (ZT) sent a msg to the Teller County Sheriff's dept. The Sheriff put out a msg that there was an unrelated incident. ZT put out a tweet stating that the Sheriff's office told him there was a suicide in Woodland Park, unrelated to the Kelsey Berreth case. There was no word on who committed suicide, but it's completely unrelated to the case. I don't know how to link Tweets here, but if you search for Zach Thaxton, you can see the tweet.

I believe there was one in Woodland Park and listeners heard on the scanner the need for a coroner. An award winning reporter had posted on twitter she was following up on new information on the Kelsey Berreth case, a facebook page admin also posted there were updates coming...all hit about the same time and speculation was it was all related to Kelsey. LE had to step in and announce there were no new updates on Kelsey. The suicide totally unrelated. Sad mess.

I don't think he would have taken it to Idaho himself. It would have taken too long and someone would have likely known about it. I don't think he would have taken the risk. Imo
