This is my choice too. 'Loose lips sink ships' He's going down like the Titanic. Moo

I think FP initially involved KK to take the fall if it came to that. According to KK he wanted her to do the kill, when that didn’t work, he had her clean up, he tried to get her to take KBs remains and dispose of her, then the phone and gun.

FP definitely thought he could make it look like a jealous ex-lover gone mad. KK was stupid, but not that stupid.

GReat post. But I disagree with one thing. I don't believe the Anthony jury had reasonable doubt on the multiple charges and lesser includeds they could have found her guilty of. Including child neglect. Etc.

They wanted to go home. IMO.

I don't think there was a shred of "reasonable" doubt.

Why Jury Sequestration Doesn't Make Sense | The Crime Report

I agree. I read over 13000 pages of discovery and that jury had cruises and other events they would have missed had they found her guilty.
They also refused to talk after the verdict and then later approached MSM for interviews for money. I think they also thought they could be like everyone else and try to profit from little Caylee’s murder. Fortunately, we were so disgusted most people following the trial didn’t want to hear what they had to say. That’s when they started complaining about being hated (and I believe one claimed they had to leave the state). IMO they thought they could profit from everyone wanting to know why the Not Guilty verdict based on the actions of a couple after the trial. This is all my own opinion.

Decorum Order for Aug. 23, 2019 hearing

DA asks Patrick Frazee to disclose whether he’ll point to an alternate suspect in Kelsey Berreth murder case – Canon City Daily Record
[…]

Prosecutors have previously obtained records including Frazee’s statements made to child welfare workers.

Kenney had told investigators that Frazee had confided to her that Berreth was physically abusive toward their daughter, according to Slater’s testimony at the preliminary hearing. Kenney claimed Frazee told her that they needed to “get rid of” Berreth so she couldn’t injure or kill Kaylee, he testified.

If Frazee told the caseworker that abused their daughter, it could corroborate Kenney’s testimony.

According to Kenney, Frazee had told her that Kaylee had a burn on her hand and a bump on her head, Slater had testified.

[…]
I hope they found Frazee’s foot prints lit up like Christmas lights with luminol.

The Denver Post obtained court documents showing that prosecutors filed a motion to “require the defendant to endorse alternate-suspect defense if he intends to present such evidence at trial.”

The documents do not identify an alternate suspect by name. But Frazee’s onetime girlfriend, Krystal Kenney, is a key witness in the murder case, and took a plea agreement admitting to one count of tampering with physical evidence in exchange for testimony against the suspect, who is the father of Berreth’s toddler daughter.

Hmmmmm Wonder who PF may have in mind to throw under the bus? :)

If that is PF's defense then no surprise, as we have thought this the whole time that he would try to blame much more on her than she has already admitted to.

I dont think there is anything else he could do for a defense strategy. It seems the writing is on the wall what he will try to claim.

This trial is shaping up to be one heck of a battle between the defense and prosecution and I cant wait for it to start.
We need to see justice served for KB.

His mother? Brother? That friend that kept defending him like PF was the best thing since sliced bread?

Deceased/Not Found - CO - Kelsey Berreth, 29, Woodland Park, Teller County, 22 Nov 2018 - #53 *ARREST*

5/24/19 Update: Frazee entered a not guilty plea. Trial date on Monday, Oct. 28. Trial is expected to last 3 weeks. A motions hearing for June 14 related to consumptive testing, another motion hearing on Aug. 23 @ 9am for all day & the pre-trial readiness date would be Friday, Oct. 18 @ 9am. Frazee’s attorney is asking the judge to prevent live-tweeting & blogging inside the court during proceedings. He is also asking the judge to bar media from taking photos of Frazee walking into or out of court. Judge Sells said he won’t decide on the request today. Child custody hearing on 6/13.
6/13/19 Update on Child Custody: Judge has ruled that the baby will stay with her family. Next Review hearing on 9/5.
6/14/19 Update: Motions hearing where prosecutors are seeking permission to test an item of evidence that is so small it will be destroyed in the process. A tooth fragment has been discovered on the property of accused killer Frazee, seven months after his fiancée disappeared without a trace. That tooth will now be tested for DNA after Judge Scott Sells approved the prosecution's motion for consumptive evidence testing, a process used on smaller sample that ultimately results in their destruction.
Prosecutors are calling in Caitlin Rogers a DNA specialist with CBI from the Pueblo Regional Lab. She is testifying today over the phone re consumptive testing. Asked about CBI's process of consumptive testing. Explains why defense experts MUST have a background check and buccal swabs whenever they enter a lab. The policy outlines guidelines defense experts are to follow if they are present for testing. Rogers says the buccal swab is taken to tell whether DNA evidence in the lab has been contaminated.
Judge Sells rules in favor of the state, noting CBI is a law enforcement agency. He doesn’t find running someone’s name is intrusive. He says it’s important to protect the process (keep in mind they test for thousands of other cases). Porter asks the buccal swab for their expert (who hasn’t been identified yet) be destroyed after the testing. Judge Sells says he won’t rule on that today. Porter says they should ID their expert within two weeks. Frazee due to return Aug. 23 for an all-day motion hearing.

7/23/19 Update: Human remains were discovered some time Tuesday (7/23/19) night while workers were constructing a new pipeline at the site about a quarter of a mile northwest of the intersection of Weld County Road 49 & Weld 34 1/2 at an oil and gas site in rural Weld County. 8/1/19: DA will not seek DP.
8/19/19 Update: 8/19/19 Update: Prosecutors filed a motion to require the defense to endorse an alternate suspect defense "if he intends to present such evidence at trial." The defense also filed a motion to suppress statements Frazee made to an employee with the Department of Human Services at the Teller County Jail five days after his arrest on Dec. 21.

and Yes I will be shortening this up a bit.... :)

Maybe it was the one armed man.
Ha! I’ll be interested to see if the defense goes with the strategy of not only pointing the finger at KK, but also admitting that PF committed a crime (accessory after the fact).

Something like she did it, but he knew about it and covered it up.

Of course that won’t work, but it’s more plausible than saying she did it and he was completely unaware.

Trying to completely sever his involvement doesn’t seem like the smart play.

There’s just way too much there.

I think those lies are where my questions come from. I’m so anxious to hear testimony from both sides. I’m still unsure about the phone pings and who really had KBs phone and sent those texts and whether KKL was really in Idaho and if LE really checked her story out thoroughly or just bought her story. I’m not implying anything here. I just have questions. Like a new juror. I want to be convinced because the star witness is a liar who is also a conspirator who could possibly have pulled this off herself. But...she isn’t on trial. He is.

As to the bolded above, that is key. There is a reason that he is on trial for murder and she isn't.

I'm pretty sure LE already investigated whether she could have been the actual murderer herself, instead of him. But he is the one they charged with murder, so they must have evidence to support that decision. JMO

Maybe I’m giving PF too much credit, but I’m wondering if by including KK in discussions, planning, meet-ups, communications and clean-up, he felt he had a way to blame KK for the murder later, if he ever got caught. Or at least cast doubt or confuse things. I still find it hard to believe that people really think they are going to be successful pulling this stuff off.
Yes, I think PF did try to pull her in purposely, in hopes of scapegoating her if necessary.

Sending the victim's cell phone back with her is one big example. Why would she agree to do that? Stupid, stupid move on her part.

...he is such a toxic arse hole.

Since the site is going to be down today during this motions hearing, I'm taking note of all the Twitter's to follow since we all won't be together for it.

Thanks everyone for taking note on the tweets and then posting here once WS is back up and running. Hope we don’t crash the site as we all rush back eagerly to read what happened.

Again...a big big thank you!
