It's odd that he's still posting on Facebook. JMO, but there could be more to this. I wish an expert on aspergers would chime in and comment about his last few videos. The behavior analysis of them and how someone with aspergers may act after something traumatic like killing someone.

I'm not an expert but I had a roommate with Aspergers many years ago and learned quite a bit. During high stress, people with Aspergers can also exhibit very childlike behavior. Other indicators of a person experiencing anxiety may include the individual feeling incredibly self-conscious and overloaded and they may ‘speak' through ‘characters' or phrases from TV shows; jingles; objects; as another person, or they may retreat to a corner, drawing up the knees to their chest; mumbling; etc. I've not looked at the video referenced as the individual is not a named POI at this time, but sharing this to help out.

Please stop sleuthing the social media of family and posting information from FB or Twitter, etc.

Websleuthers are used to waiting patiently for official confirmation from LE or via MSM.

Also, there is a reason discussion is not allowed. There are scammer folks out there who just wait for these types of situations to try to extract money from the public. We have no way of verifying who these accounts belong to.

Poor girl. Hopefully we will hear an update from LE or MSM soon. Would be nice to hear something official since social media tends to let things get out of hand. :silenced:

This is really so frustrating because it’s now well over 24 hours and so much of it is unfolding on social media without a peep from police or the media. I have no idea what is going on. It’s like the media is 10 steps behind what the family is posting. I can’t understand why, because if it was detrimental to the case, I’m sure the family would be told to keep quiet, right?

IMO, if this is murder, we will hear from LE. If it is suicide, we probably won't hear from LE and it will remain a family tragedy not for our discussion.

Speculation, my 2¢.

Or maybe murder/suicide and that’s why police said they don’t feel there is a threat to the public in the article discussing the body found/homicide

Body Found Believed To Be Missing 19-Year-Old Woman

Two weeks before her disappearance Natalie took to Facebook, claiming a man she once helped had been harassing her.

Bollinger claimed Shawn Schwartz drove across the county to see her, and “slept behind her work for weeks.”

She wrote about her repeated attempts to distance herself from Schwartz, after he allegedly threatened to kill himself in front of her.

Schwartz took to Facebook himself, addressing Bollinger’s disappearance.

“The Broomfield Police Department just got ahold of me,” Schwartz said in a Facebook Live post.

Broomfield Police told CBS4 they interviewed Schwartz about Natalie’s disappearance. However, they stopped short of saying if he was a suspect, or cleared, in her disappearance.

Normally when LE says "no danger to the public" it's accident, death by misadventure, suicide, or other than random homicide from a stranger. Though death records are in most states releasable to the public, they don't HAVE to voluntarily release them outside of FOIA. If it's other than homicide the family may wish the COD to be kept private. All speculation at this point, however.

"Though police, and the sheriff’s office, could not release the identity of the deceased, Bollinger’s father told CBS4’s Dillon Thomas it was his daughter’s body that was found."

"Without a positive identification on the body found at McIntosh Dairy, the Broomfield Police Department said their investigation continues."

Still no confirmation.

What takes so long?

This is very, very strange. If it was her, should absolutely be positively identified by now...unless maybe LE trying to throw off a possible POI? This is not adding up.

The other article said the body found was being investigated as a homicide so I’m sure she was probably murdered if it was indeed her. I wish they would stop posting about SS though (now even in that CBS article) because I really feel he didn’t do this. If there is no threat to the public, I doubt they would allow him to roam free given his behavior and posts.

Out of respect for the family for the person who was found, I'll not get into detail as to why, but historically, there are situations when they may need dental records to confirm identity.

I believe I get what you mean...but she has several tattoos. That should make identification easy IMHO.

Apparently some members have been notified but not all family members.

Ted Bollinger, father of the missing woman, wrote a comment on Fox31’s Facebook page Saturday afternoon, “My daughter was murdered. I just left the sheriff’s (office.)”

The victim has been identified, but the name will not be released until after the family members have been contacted.

She also has had multiple surgeries on her ankle/leg and several metal pins/rods put in. She has X-rays on her Facebook. Should be easy to identify, so I don’t think actual identification is the issue

Side note: are we allowed to use MSM articles if their source is the family member’s Facebook posts? Just not sure how that works? Again, this is a really unusual case and I’ve never been involved with one like this on websleuths, so I am unsure.

Yes absolutely, I just would have thought the coroner would have done so by now, but I don’t know if this county has their own dedicated coroner or if they funnel into another county etc? Perhaps it’s going to take a bit longer than I would have thought. What threw me off was the part in the article where LE stated they had not made positive identification, and investigation is continuing. Obviously investigation is going to continue, but them saying identification had not been made confused me.

I think anything in the MSM is okay. On a side note...as a former journalist...I think it's kind of sad (and lazy) that the MSM is sourcing fb pages nowadays. Pick up the phone and interview.
