I believe so. He was talking about this jail. This is a medium-sized rural jail. Television/computer communications can be interrupted in perfectly good weather for hours at a time. I'm wondering if CW is being held in solitary. He may not have access to a television or other means of watching.

I believe I read that he’s isolated from the other inmates.

I noticed the same thing. Actually, I initially noticed that they pretty much have nothing on the walls. Maybe SW removed things in order to stage her home.

It appears SW's family is Catholic. Not sure about CW's although in this video he sure thinks it's very important that Bella get the words correct. I looked up primrose prayer, trying to learn the origin, but couldn't find anything significant.

Many people when they have small children don't have a lot of clutter on walls or anywhere. It's easier to keep clean. These girls had asthma too and washing walls is a biggie with asthma. There are water vacuums some people use (I just use a hot wet rag and dishwashing detergent).

Having blank walls makes that easy.

But this was a young family. Newish home. Why does the lack of clutter or decorations have to mean anything?

Some people don't like stuff. Some people don't have time to clean stuff. Some people don't have enough money to purchase stuff and what they need for their kids. Like my parents when they were young. They had a nice, new, middle class home that didn't have much decoration in the early years of the family. Or much furniture.

That was the same in my childhood neighborhood when I babysat for young families.

How would he get rid of the purse and suitcases?

Where would he empty the trash can that LE would not go thru it?

Maybe a ransom note instead.

The trash could be ditched as he drives through Colorado searching for them. Are there mountains there? He would be strong enough to throw stuff a distance. Or deep rivers?

Maybe another oil tank or something else of that nature in his work.

I don’t know that a ransom note would work. They don’t have that kind of money

But if he got rid of the car and stuff before anyone knew they were missing no one would think it strange that the car was driven away, would they?

He sure was counting a lot on making it to the 5:00 bell without any worries... he was going to be very, very busy later on. That theory suggest he thinks nobody would be too worried not hearing from them all day.

That is why I lean towards the 'somebody took them' theory a little more.

I can see it now... husband of missing Co mom seen throwing stuff out of his vehicle. Be just like Scott P.
LE is going to be watching him and other (if any) suspects like a hawk.

If he drives his truck... likely GPS too.

The ransom writer doesn't have to know that in a fake scenario.

She had it decorated nicely with the color combos. The children appeared to have a nice playroom with a little kitchen and playthings for the kitchen such as fake food.

They seem to have carpeting so maybe the asthma is triggered by cold or something else.

For me, I was surprised how the house echoed when she was talking in a video. I like the feeling of a hotel when I stay in one, but I do not think I would like that for my home.

If he had not reported them missing, LE would not be watching him. Only after the big reveal.

Maybe no note then because he would have to report right when he got home

One thing I like about the puzzle analogy is how the picture can change over time as we get more "pieces."

Keep in mind that this case is a huge puzzle; imagine 5,000 pieces, and we've only been allowed to see 500 pieces so far. And we know what "image" the prosecution thinks the puzzle will show because we can see what CW has been charged with. And we can tell that there is going to be no way that these pieces will make the picture look like what CW has told us---that SW killed the kids and he killed her---it just doesn't look like that at all, and the pieces he has given us don't even belong in this puzzle, we need to throw those pieces out entirely.

But then we get handed more pieces: CW had a gay sex relationship for 10 months, for instance. And now we've got to determine how those pieces will change the picture we were expecting, or even if those pieces belong to this puzzle at all.

And it can really hurt the prosecution when they promise that the image will look like one thing and fail to prove it. Do you remember the OJ Simpson case? The prosecution was trying to paint a scene of OJ as the killer, and they wanted the pictures in the jurors' minds to be vivid. And they sounded confident and convincing. But . . . then they overstepped. They took an unorthodox move of having OJ try the glove on. And they wanted the jurors to envision OJ wearing the gloves and stabbing Nicole and Ron over and over. But the gloves . . . didn't . . . fit. And there went the prosecution's credibility. And I can still hear Johnny Cochran's famous argument, "If the gloves don't fit, you must acquit." And that mental image of OJ the killer just evaporated in the minds of the jurors.

Hmmmm ... I replied to this post, but it went 'poof'. It's probably somewhere over Canada by now.

I'll try it again:

You are another of of the posters on Webslueths that I greatly admire. You post so intelligently and make it seem effortless. (hmmmm ..... JEALOUS!) ;)

Wow, thank you. I can tell you that what may seem effortless takes lots of time and revisions and reworking. I learn a lot by listening to the other posters here, too.

The car would be the biggy, (obviously) everything else could be split up and thrown in various dumpsters. But he was stupid not to think of cadaver dogs.

He admitted to killing Shanann and putiing the bodies in their various graves. He is not getting out of that

See, I think the jury is going to be so mad at him for putting those babies in oil tanks that nothing else matters. They could get the death penalty in this case easy if they wanted to. But they might not due to the fact that it is much more costly to try a death penalty case than a life w/o parole case.

They should go for the death penalty, can't they have a second, alternate, penalty of life w/o parole? Not sure how that works. But, thinking of being a normal citizen in the jury, I think I would be a little upset if they didn't at least figuratively try to kill him.

You know, maybe if LE really does have physical evidence proving that SW could not have killed Bella and CeCe, CW just might confess. When confronted with the facts that LE had located the bodies, found the sheet in the field, and they knew he was having an affair, CW confessed a little bit, so maybe when confronted with irrefutable evidence disputing the rest of his false statements, he’ll tell the truth about everything. Maybe, he’s different than Scott Peterson, who when confronted with the Marina evidence, with Amber Frye truth, and his humiliating Paris phone call, continued to deny, deny, deny, and to this day, still does deny.
