I don’t think it’s a matter of personal offense, there’s a verification process here, at WS, for members who claim to be professionals. You’d probabably have more credibility if you did that. You should check with Tricia.
@Bill Carson i went through verification for being an EMT and it’s a really easy process. Just a photo of id and license number. Send it to @Tricia i find you extremely helpful and having you verified would help those who don’t know you are an attorney, see that you know what you are talking about also! I hunt for your posts now because you are a wealth of knowledge! Your analogies are extremely helpful for me as I know very little about trial law!

My mom was bossy and "aggressive" and my dad wasn't. She died from ovarian cancer 2 years ago, a couple of weeks past their 40th wedding anniversary. My dad is legitimately lost without her.

I wear the proverbial pants in my relationship. My husband is not a go-getter. He literally has to be told what to do. If I didn't remind him of things, he'd forget to pay bills, forget birthdays, anniversaries, appointments. Love him to death but he has to be taken care of and directed. He'll even say that he's glad I'm "bossy" and "aggressive" and "pushy" because he's anything but and it balances out the household well.

If you don't wanna be told what to do, don't marry someone who is a Type-A personality. It's really that simple.

ETA: You'll never hear a Type-A male described as "bossy", "pushy", "nagging", etc... you'll hear him described as driven, passionate, and hard-working.
This is so true. Someone has to be the boss.

Why did my post correcting another users misinformation about IUDs get deleted? It was my first post, yes, but it was relevant to the conversation. Thanks for the warm welcome, I guess.
:) Welcome to Websleuths, EvolutionX! :)

There were 129 posts deleted that were off-topic, so don't feel alone. We have all been there! :p

Welcome EvolutionX. :)

Here’s the answer to your question, as you can see it was not just you :)

Very discouraging to spend so much time reviewing this thread and seeing a message at the bottom that I only had "356 more posts" to review.

In total, 2 hours of reviewing resulting in 129 posts being removed, primarily due to off-topic discussion derailing the thread, including but not limited to:

- opinions on the death penalty
- members own medical issues and meds, malaria, etc
- the bible, the Pope, the governor (stick to MSM and LE)
- building tiny houses
- teen suicide
- IUDs
- Robin Williams

etc etc

Also, please note:

General discussion about politics, religion, the death penalty, sexual orientation (unless it is germane to this particular case) are off-limits.

Link to or discussion re articles at The Center for Public Integrity are not an allowed due to it being a political, left wing publication.

This is a very busy thread and we can't have it being derailed. Please stay on topic and be respectful with your words.

Thanks.

This thread is open again but will close for the night in about another 5 or 6 hours.

ETA:

Okay! I was a bit confused, I see pretend phone conversations and chitter chatter posts so I guess I assumed my post would be okay lol! Got it!

Okay thanks!

(Yes, this was me with the “pretend phone conversation” (blushing), sorry about that, I was in a really goofy mood this morning, sorry for not setting a good example.)

The same happened to my first and (then) only post. I pointed out the spelling of a user’s name. The reason given was that you’re not allowed to make “cracks” about other users. I didn’t mean it as a crack at all, and felt badly, but it did get deleted.

The LE affidavit, however, states that he put "the bodies into the back seat of the truck" when he left that morning. Bodies, plural, so according to the information they had when charging him, LE felt all 3 bodies were taken to the oil well at the same time
CW is the one who said he loaded the three bodies in the back seat of his truck. He also said he saw SW strangling the child.

Since he hasn't been truthful, I wouldn't believe what he said.

Oh, I may be mistaken. I thought I read a post that said if you’re going to claim you’re offering an opinion as a professional, you need to be verified. If I’m wrong, I’m sorry.

A member's post?

Pls note that verification is an OPTION, a choice acc to WS.
if you WISH to be identified as one, in any specialist area.

I believe this is what @Layla123 is referring to

If you do not wish to be identified as an expert in a certain area, we ask that you refrain from answering questions that are specifically directed to those that have been verified as specialist in their area and that you do not claim to be a professional in any area.

From @Tricia ’s post “Verification Process for Professional or Insider Posters”

Welcome @Kim bird and @EvolutionX !
Please don’t get discouraged. Sometimes it is not you who is the offender, but if your comment is in response to the post that was, it will be deleted as well.
Our thread got terribly off-topic for a while there. Sometimes that’s the time I take a break so as not to inadvertently become involved. Then I return when the ship has been righted again.
We look forward to hearing your thoughts on this case!

First time I have posted here...I agree, he placed them in hopes to never be found. I hold the belief that he planned to go back and place SW more securely. I also lean towards the girls being killed first but I could be wrong.

I am so very saddened by this case. I keep goggling news articles in hopes to understand what happened that night/early morning. I don't believe for a second that she killed the girls but unfortunately his claim can cause reasonable doubt. CW is a coward and a deceitful and arrogant narcissist, imo. I do believe these cowardly acts were premeditated despite what appears as poor planning. So very tragic and senseless. Edit: spelling and grammar
My hunch--this is pure speculation--is that he intended to spend Monday evening cleaning up and then he was going to report them missing on Tuesday. I suppose he could have been planning on doing that Monday night when he returned home, but it seems like things were still in too much chaos at the house for him to report as soon as he got home. Perhaps he would have reported it late on Monday after he had a chance to tidy up.

Either way, I think he was going to use the separation claim as a reason why he wasn't alarmed when he didn't hear from her.

There is a fantastic video on YouTube “CW: Looking for the Oil Well”. It is filmed by a local and gives a fantastic driving view of the area, show I just how awful and remote this location is, the routes in and out, etc. At one point he stops at a convenience store. I would guess LE has checked into this place.

As for the video, I have sent it over to @Tricia to get approval from her before posting it.

Wow, thanks! Quite a tour -- I had no idea that Colorado has this much oil business, etc.

CW took a looooooong ride to this sight. And the leaning power poles were spooky.
He had plenty of time to think about things while he was going to/from the location, IMO.
SMH
Just enter this lat/long to see the location using Google maps (or other similar app.) :

When a person comes home from a long grueling trip like Shannan did or a long day at work, usually you unwind by going on your computer and checking emails. I'm sure Shannan had a lot of those with her business. If she went on and saw messages from CW's male friend she would have freaked out, exploded. I would have. It was 2 am and CW was waiting up for her. maybe emailing his friend. He would have gotten humiliated and freaked out as well.
