Yes, he kind of pauses before he comes into shot, after he's come down the stairs.
Even the poor dog knows something is afoot.

Not sure 100% he knew what she was going to tell him but he was definitely told that she was filming and to walk down stairs for a surprise.

Also we have to remember that CW was also working for Thrive, had recruited distributers , took part in paired presentations with her, qualified for the 800 luxury car "allowance" etc

Some very interesting theories hear. I think any plan C.W. made was going to be bad one, regardless of the time he had or the prep he did. I suspect he was more of a fixer than a planner, that his social problem-solving skills have long been poor, and that the goal of any “plan” — freedom without financial or emotional liabilities — was overwhelming enough that he paid little attention to the details, including a lover who might be a bit suspicious of the timing of his disappearing family. Chris Coleman, vicious as he was, was a Kissinger next to this guy.

You just brought up a point I had never even considered that prompted me to post for the very first time. Do we know that the girls shared a room? In a 5 bedroom house (or 4? I can’t remember) that seems absurd. We have a similar monitor so, if the girls did NOT share a room, he would have had to wait for the video display to cycle between the 2 rooms to have been able to see one girl laying on the bed “blue” and her in the other room. Unless theirs shows multiple rooms at once. Either way, ridiculously absurd (IMO)

Both men were having an extramarital affair.
Both men blamed their wife for the children's murder.

IF that were the case, he didn't HAVE to put on a show. He chose to. He didn't have to repeatedly lie and dump his children in vats of oil. He chose to. He had multiple opportunities to do the right thing IF the scenario you suggest occurred. He did not.

I’m sorry to be gross and graphic, but sometimes people release bladder/bowel upon death. Maybe he killed someone in the bed and that happened.

Or he just needed to wrap bodies in something.

I don't know if anyone else has mentioned this I read most of all the other threads but could have missed it. Is it possible, and I hate to say this but he is a monster, that he cut them up to fit into the opening of the tanks? It has been bothering me about what it said about him changing bodies so they couldn't be easily identified. Not exactly but I can't find what it said word for word. Did it say mutilation? I hope someone can clear this up for me as it has been bothering me. I saw that combined with some of the tank openings being so small it crossed my mind so I thought I would ask you experts your opinion on this. I just know CW is going to have to put out some real tears in court to get people to believe he loves and misses his kids and that she killed them. I don't think he is going to be a very good actor. No chance of him skating that is for sure.

Bull hockey! No way at all it happened like that!

If HE loved his kids he would have been so devastated to the point of not being able to even think about hiding their bodies or caring what “happened” to him. He would have called 911 and told them what happened.

No way anyone will convince me Shanann harmed her kids. She had already told members of her family in NC and people that worked in the salon with her mom that they were planning on separating. So he didn’t pop any new info on her when she came home that night. He killed them all so he wouldn’t be stuck paying alimony and child support. Period!

No, he claimed in a media interview early on (one sec, I will see if I can find it) that he needed to stay with friends because "he couldn't stand sleeping in a quiet house" or something ridiculous like that.

I fully believe there's good reason he was charged with first degree murder on all three. The prosecution is not going to show its hand to the public, especially this early on. They know a lot that we don't know at this point.

I agree. I don’t think they would pursue those specific charges in court if they didn’t think they had the sufficient evidence to prove it beyond a reasonable doubt. It will be interesting to see what details emerge as the case moves forward in court.

She suffered from lupus, so that put her in a high-risk pregnancy category.

In terms of the debt they owed ~ would SW having chronic lupus and a child or both children with chronic illness/illnesses as stated on SW facebook page, topped with the high risk pending pregnancy and medical care/fees, would not they have acquired additional medical costs since their bankruptcy filing July 2015? I am not in the USA and I am not familiar with medical coverages or costs but did CW have medical benefits or were these medical costs accumulating and out of pocket expenses. If so, they were already in debt for $740 to Choice Recovery in Columbus, Ohio, for health and chiropractic services; $1,301 to Kaiser Permanente for medical services; and $2,612 to Good Samaritan Medical Center at the time of the bankruptcy filing, July 2015. Since the filing in 2015, their second daughter was born and I don't know how much that costs in USA to deliver a child.
I would assume that they incurred additional medical costs for their second child.
What I wonder is if these medical expenses were increasing along with other expenses, so to would the anxiety. However, it seems that with the bankruptcy Chapter 7 filing in Colorado, if approved by the court, allows debtors to hold onto and keep making payments on assets such as a house and car but offers a “fresh start” by eliminating other debts, according to ColoradoBankruptcy.com. Did SW and CW get that fresh start and cleared on other debts? or was it still accumulating?

Hi - I'm another new member...compelled by this case to join. Thanks for accepting me into the web sleuths community.

I was wondering if anyone remembers mention of LE finding CW's truck 2 blocks away? From their house? i swear i read something about this early on....please forgive me if my memory fails.

Also was wondering if anyone else finds CW's and SW's comments (or hashtags) on SM overwhelming...."i went to bed at 2 and woke up at 6 and had tons of energy..." "went on a run when I got home after a long work day" almost like trying to impress upon SM 'friends' that they were superhuman? Wondering if having to keep up with the SM 'appearance' of success and happiness got to be too much for CW? While SW found happiness in the thrive community maybe CW thought of it as one more 'thing i have to do' and resented her/it? I know when my kiddos were little if i had said i felt great and well-rested i would have definitely been lying. There is NO justification for CW's horrendous actions...am trying to think of what (besides co worker affair and potential money issues) could lead to CW snapping and killing the family that on SM he seemed so devoted to.
