Wow I missed that part where he said he was selling the house. Like that would be the first thing to enter my mind if my family had disappeared. <<rolling eyes>>

Yeah, before Jason Young returned from his “business (alibi) trip” he was griping about how he was going to have to “take a hit” on the (murder)house. He didn’t even ask how his wife died.

In looking at her social media, I see no posts on Instagram since Aug. 1 and no posts on her Facebook since Aug. 9 (doll photo). She was tagged in a photo in Arizona. I find that odd for someone who lived her life on social media. Unless those posts were removed, it appears there was no activity post wise since Aug. 9. IMO, this could be a small sign that she was mentally struggling. If someone knows of posts she made after Aug. 9, please let me know.

She had posts on FB after, but once the FB account was changed to a legacy account (I.w., remembering) whoever is now managing either deleted or set to the privacy of those posts to friends only. Period. FB subpoena during trial will corroborate this, IMO.
How can anyone tell this still as of this morning? NUA had tagged SW in FB posts, which were public for both. They still show on NUA, but not on SW.
What other technology simple search info can I help you with?

Maybe school starting the following Monday (or later that week?) was an impetus for CW to murder his family Sunday night. Once school started, it would be difficult with school bus, drop offs, school attendance records, etc., to hide that they were “missing.” So he had to disappear them while there were days for which they (he assumed) could be unaccounted for. So he rushed and got sloppy. Or Nickole ruined his gameplan.

Had he been able to get SW into an oil tank and had time to get rid of the sheets, etc., they could possibly still be “missing.”

I really wonder how that oil tank location was identified, via the company or from CW.

I think he was going to tell the local friends and people that she went back to NC. It's not a great plan of his, but she had been out of town for 6 weeks, so people weren't accustomed to seeing her or the kids around.

I think that the police have a lot more incriminating evidence on Chris than they have told us in the arrest affidavit.

Think about it: nearly 60 hours expired between the time of the first call to police and CW's arrest. The CBI had been called in. The FBI had been called in. (Look at the witness list to see the number of investigators who worked on the case!)

LE let CW have plenty of rope to hang himself. I'm sure they encouraged him to speak to the media to distract him while the dogs were sniffing through the house. They found the oilfield site before CW confessed (40 miles out in the middle of nowhere!). They knew about the affair before they confronted CW in the interrogation.

I believe that the prosecution has a "lead pipe cinch" case against CW, but the only wiggle room CW has is his word what happened. And he had 60 hours to come up with his story, and it was the best he could do under all that sleepless pressure.
Completely agreed with you. "What is on the sheets" for example. What is on the rug by the bed, and on the beds? As someone mentioned upthread, those long sharp acrylic fingernails are really strong, and that skin/tissue damage would have showed up on the necks of the children.

I really do not understand why someone would admit strangling the life out of their wife , dumping his kids in disgusting oil ,and tossing his dead wife in a self made grave, while admitting to an affair has a heap of motivation to lie about the rest.
Huge difference!!! One of Death Penalty, the otherS is not.

You must be kidding?

A respectful cremation is not even compaaaarable to throwing your babies in some remote crude oil tank for nobody to find, and no grandparents, etc to be able to participate in their funerals.

Right?!? Especially since when cremated family either have an urn kept in the house, get cremation jewelry made to wear, or still bury in a cemetery. Cremation is not even close to what CW did.

I just can’t even with some people.

Edited to fix spelling lol

Posts were
removed.

How do we know that? and Why were some posts deleted and not others? Her account on FB is now a legacy account and was soon after she was found. According to Facebook legacy rules...

Your legacy contact can't:
  • Log into your account.
  • Remove or change past posts, photos and other things shared on your timeline.
  • Read your messages.
  • Remove any of your friends or make new friend requests.
  • Add a new legacy contact to your account.

That is legacy contact only!!

Seems to be much fewer people on thread 9 - or is it just my perception? It usually zips along so fast that I can't keep up with it.
I have backed away from the thread. It's stressful and heartbreaking enough that I can't handle some of the posts here lately.
We all have our right to an opinion but my heart aches for SW and those babies

You can't delete posts when it becomes a legacy account.

or it happened as he stated it did

I think she was utterly terrified to be without him. But not in a love story way.

In some very intense manner based on earlier situations and early childhood losses or conflict .

Morbid fear of being abandoned can often have tragic outcomes imo
Many many many women are afraid to lose their guy. That part I agree with.
The facts, however, lay the guilt on CW as being a family annihilator. Motives (plural) financial, as well as a mistress.
Guys can be huge fakes. I could tell some stories.

Not just that, but his story still makes him appear to be a decent father. If he admits to killing the girls, then his appearance of being a caring father are blown to shreds.

If he is, in fact, a narcissist (which I have strong suspicions he may be), how he appears to others (even strangers) is of utmost importance to him. He couldn't stand having the world think he was a lowlife .

Agreed. Also, while there are many cases of murdering of spouses because of an affair, I just can't wrap my mind around why go for the sweet children as well?
Unless you were raised by a parent that cheats. You don’t have to be a cheater to be suspicious. You don’t have to drink either to act like a crazy alcoholic - you just have to be raised by one. We learn to respond by our parents actions. Personal experience there.
And that’s the question that makes the least sense to most of us ... the children! Why the children? But I ask that question every time I hear of a parent murdering their children.
It’s the reason - and it’s a valid one - that we have some considering SW did murder her own children. But, it always comes back to our personal instincts (most of us, anyway) to cradle and rock a child we have lost - not to throw them in a vat of oil.

They each signed separate waivers, dated June 30th.
Hi Bill,
I only ask this because wig stires can be forged. My now ex husband did after our divorce and tried to put a remod in my name too, which he forged.
From a quick look at her SM, and her couple top friends, I think they were both in NC at the time.... but felt it good to ask.
