I checked the media thread hoping for some explanation and didn't find it so I asked here, knowing it had probably been discussed in the many pages before. A sticky would be a great idea!
I know the paper bags are common procedure, they are usually bagged at the crime scene. The alcohol may have been because she had something with dinner that night, but I think it can also be present in the body regardless, in very small amounts. The coffin birth I'm not sure about. Did it specifically say that in the autopsy report? I haven't read it. Is it linked somewhere?

I have to say the DA Mr. O'Rourke is very impressive: he has a commanding presence when he speaks. He is straight forward and did not sugar coat anything. I am glad he was the district attorney prosecuting this case. I think he was primarily responsible
for convincing CW that taking the plea to avoid the death penalty was the best choice for all involved. It is also to the credit of CW's defense attorneys that they no doubt convinced him to take the plea.

Men who want to cheat can be awfully convincing, and women who are being swept off their feet can be incredibly impressionable. As someone who has been duped by a married man who was “in process” of separating, I know it’s easy to believe the lies because you’re going to assume people are telling you the truth. And if there’s a shred of evidence to support that truth (like your family is not actively living with you) there is even less reason to be skeptical. Pathological liars have answers for everything. NK got played in the worst possible way and I’m sure must be struggling with so many terrible feelings right now.

Sorry I missed previous posts in regard to " coffin birth." Was this what happened? The fetus was expelled through the birth canal and was found seperated from the body? If so, this is very rare, especially that early in the pregnancy. I would have thought the fetus was found inside her body. Was this verified?

Yes, it was stated in the autopsy.

Yes it was in the autopsy report.

I feel like we need a sticky or something to explain the alcohol content in her spleen, the paper bags on her hands, and the explanation of a coffin birth. These seem to be the three main things in the autopsy report that's causing the most confusion.
If it was described that way, it's possible the fetus was not completely expelled, it could have been lodged in the birth canal and still referred to as a " coffin birth." That would make sense if was not found separately. Imo

I have not been able to catch up on here, but I did read the Daily Mail summary. Shan'ann's family is so profoundly graceful. CW's mom is still deeply in denial, I have no more words for her, or his father. Tears came today, I don't know what else to do other than spend some quiet time thinking of the beautiful family that was Shan'ann, Bella, Cece and Nico. They, and their remaining family and friends, have my love.

I was thinking about the creepy Twister sheet picture, and wondering if we ever determined if CW took it and sent it to SW, or if it was something that she took a picture of and posted later on. It made me think that maybe the murders weren't his first attempt at smothering SW's daughters. !@#$ him. They are only SW's children, he is nothing, certainly not a father.

Thank you to everyone who posted here over the last few months, these threads were truly enlightening.
Strangely, when I googled something this morning before signing on here, that exact picture randomly popped up in the images I was googling! I now am convinced CW was behind staging that picture. Creeps me out! He truly is a sick sack of ****.

Good question. Would the use of a plastic bad be equally possible as him holding their mouths and noses closed with his bare hands? I’m sure hoping it would.

I'm hoping so. Small mercies go a long way, and not imagining the children seeing the person who was supposed to love and protect them doing...the opposite...would indeed be a mercy.

Yes, not too bright. But I always wondered if he had smothered them with a pillow. I just don't think he would have been able to look them in the eye. It would have been too "uncomfortable." He was not a confrontational person, and I believe he would have avoided having to look into their eyes. Not so much for their sake, but for himself. I think it would have been the same thing in Shananns case. However he did it, I don't think he looked onto her eyes. Some have suggested he approached her from behind or while she was asleep, or did it the way you suggested in an earlier post, holding her arms with his body. I think it was something like that. He wanted them gone, but did it the way it was easiest for himself, almost in a deceitful way. Like everything else he did. Imo

My personal opinion is that he would have no problem looking his wife and children in the eye when murdering them. The only reason he would attack Shannan from behind or when she was asleep, was because she was most vulnerable and easy to overtake and kill. I imagine he looked his children in the eyes when he may have put a pillow over their faces (how else do you smother a child?) or whatever mechanism he used. He is one of the coldest killers i have ever seen. I hate to say this because it is a horrible thought, but I believe the children were aware it was their father who was murdering them because they were looking right at him when he smothered them to death. At the point he murdered his family, they represented obstacles in his way from what he wanted: a new life with a new woman. All of his actions after he murdered his family show a man who went about business as usual.

The DA said the blood alcohol content was due to the stage of decomposition.

OMG, I hope not. I just think he was too much of a wimp to face having to look in their eyes. He wanted it done but wanted to do it with as little confrontation as possible. Imo

True, and during that infatuation period it is very easy to miss the red flags. Even when they are there you don't see them. She is probably looking back and realizing them now. Imo

Just read the news this morning about the sentencing yesterday. As I'm sure has been said by many others, I was surprised the read (on CNN) that Shanann was killed first. Maybe the plan was to only kill her and claim she never arrived home. Maybe Bella woke up and saw what was happening and then he decided he had to kill them all.

So very glad he will never see outside those prison walls again.
