You don't need to be nicer where super evil is concerned. He deserves no "nice" for the rest of his worthless life. He forfeited that with his actions.

Lying to the FBI is a big deal. Why would TB take such a risk? The chick-fill-a lady said she had an accident that made her lose her memory and she couldn't be sure it was CW. However she had ties to the Watts from NUA, and she also mentioned the choking and him trying to force her into anal sex. I do not think she's a reliable witness and she says so herself, due to her brain injury she can't remember so clearly -- but his mode of sexual antics is similar to TB's version.

They knew she was far too good for their son and bitterly resented her for it.

Yes, I saw that shift in tone as well. Like, months of being an a$$ and all of the sudden he agrees to read the book, go to counseling, and go away for the weekend to work on things? The book ended up in the trash, same as his family. Clearly he never meant any of those things he was saying and realized he could make things easier on himself for the short while if he just "played along" with it all.

I also like how he came up with the story that SW strangled the girls only after the interrogating officer suggested a scenario to that effect. He wasn't even smart enough to come up with that ridiculous idea on his own. Surely the agent saw him as someone open to suggestion and thought he'd try that angle to at least get enough of a confession from him to find the bodies. And it worked.

Be careful when things seem too good to be true. Just 3 days after he told Shanann he doesn't want the baby..

-Contacted Troy McCoy for the fire stick 'sometime tomorrow' (I do think this had something to do with premeditation. eg, find out work schedule ahead of time)
-Searched Audi Q7
-Then next day, to his dad regarding Facebook- "Yes sir, liberated myself" (one of the most chilling statement from CW, IMO)

I think he grabbed Bella or CeCe by their hair up the stairs to the tanks, so a lot of hair fell out. He didn't even carry them in his arms.

Huh? That would be the most impractical method to get the girls up to the tank opening. The hair was detected caught in the 8" thief hatch opening, as he shoved their bodies through the entry. MOO

I appreciate that, but the thing is at the time of interview a LOT of stuff was in the MSM. It's not hard to fabricate a story from what they've read. People will do anything to be known.

No, I think he was genuinely attracted to SW. I believe that he is attracted to her facial and body type. As well as her strong personality, but she and CW were like oil and water, and while different temperaments can be tolerated in view of similar interests and goals, I don't see it in their family. If anything, CW was just tagging along, for years.

I wonder if SW married him, partially, because she wanted to have kids, and in CW she saw mostly a loyal man who would be a good father. For this, she was willing to sacrifice issues like an glaring mismatch in tempers, interests and personalities.

Clearly, SW's idea to go to a family therapist, what she offered him at the end of their marriage, was way overdue. They should have seen one, at least after Bella was born.

Contrary to expectations, family therapy does not always keep partners together. Sometimes they see the obvious sooner, and divorce. Not all divorces are bad outcomes.

In the Watts' family, the divorce before CeCe was born, debts accumulated, and the third kid on the way, might have preserved the lives of SW and Bella.

OMG I just remembered, I am going to K-9 demonstration this week. LE will be bringing in two dogs and I can ask, I am sure they will have a question and answer. Not sure though what exactly the two dogs specialty's will be but should be interesting and I will raise the question.

I have been to several demonstrations. My husband is an avid sporting clays enthusiast, his shooting partner owns a gun club and hosts a fundraiser for
K-9’s every year. They do several demonstrations, none are cadaver dogs, a little to morbid for a fundraiser, the ones they bring are drug detection dogs and ones trained to protect. They are impressive to say the least.

Sorry if this has been discussed before but the DA did not seem to know anything about a letter until it was asked about at the post-sentencing press conference. Will LE continue to investigate and get a copy of this letter now? Will we see it in a future document dump? Or is it considered case closed since CW has been sentenced? @gitana1 can someone face charges if the letter was forged? Or will LE likely let it go?

I do not think that letter was ever turned over to the DA. Perhaps the defense knew of it but did not see it as valid. Since the case is closed we will not see it unless it comes out some other way, namely CW's family and their pathetic attempt to make excuses for CW.

I believed she was feeling and seeing all of that. But they could have been having issues in the Spring, and she was mad and or frustrated at CW and just feeling out the possibilities. Also, I don't think she was pregnant with Nico when this conversation was alleged to have happened.

I believe it's possible CW's weight/measure are self reported, and not necessarily a 40 lb weight gain! (During CW interview with LE, I recall he reported his current weight after significant loss). He also doesn't measure 5'10".....!!

Agree, he was over doing anything for the kids and NK’s mystique would have worn off if a kid came along. I am not saying you stay in a toxic or bad marriage for the children's sake but you certainly do put on a mask whenever the children are present.

That would prove he never was truly committed to SW and their family. I find it hard to believe that people would actually have the nerve to lie to the FBI about having sexual relations with him, but on the other hand, I tend to doubt it because I can’t see SW not knowing where he was for all those hours spent screwing around. She was definitely the type of woman who would want to know where he was at all times, and who would occupy as much of his spare time as possible with chore lists.

I know nothing but what about muscle, does it not turn to fat if not maintained? Not sure this would make a difference to weight but like I say I don't know enough.

Everyone needs to keep in mind that there is Discovery that you have never seen and maybe never will. The prosecutor only files and releases discovery that they actually plan on using against the defendant at trial. You wanna see more good stuff, wait until his conviction is final and file a request with the District Attorney's Office under the Fredom of Information Act. It will blow your mind what they haven't released!
