I don’t think it will be necessary.

All indications are that CW reached out to them, and not the other way around.

They appear confident that he has answered some lingering questions, and that just wouldn’t be possible if he was not receptive to their presence.

He’d just lie and deflect again.

I’m almost positive that he initiated this, and almost as confident that they believed what he had to say.
 
I find it odd that LE isn't releasing this until next week. Makes me wonder if they are investigating whatever new info he shared in the meantime? I can't imagine what it could be but I doubt anyone will believe him because he's a pathological liar.

I’m suspicious that his motivation for talking is to divert any attention/suspicion away from NK, not from Shanann... :(
 
The Colorado Bureau of Investigation said a redacted version of the lengthy interview would be released to the media on March 7, one week from Thursday.

Steven Lambert of Grant & Hoffman Law Firm represents Frank and Sandy Rzucek, Shanann’s parents. He told CBS4’s Dillon Thomas his clients were updated on the discussion and were evaluating their next steps. He would not reveal more about the discussion at the time.

I can't imagine that they would spend tax dollars just to have CW repeat his originally story. I also can't imagine they would do this even if he was ready to admit he killed the girls. He could give any major news outlet that interview. The investigators have done their job at this point and do6nt care if he's ready to tell the truth, seeing as how he's already been convicted.

So that leaves....NK involvement??

Don't you think Shanann's family deserves the truth? Why on earth
wouldn't they go there and talk to CW if he offered them that?

This article makes me hate the Daily Mail even more than I already do.

It’s like he pulled his reporting from speculation on Facebook groups.

The Greeley Tribune has already said “sources close to the investigation say Watts has finally provided an accurate account of how the killings occurred.”

This idiot even uses the word “exonerate.”

He must have Cindy talking in his ear.

I skipped right over the exonerate sentence. Completely missed it, lol
 
I fear CW will still blame Shanann. I don't trust a pathetic excuse for a human such as CW. Tammy and Graham were so good, though, perhaps they could manipulate him to spilling more but the truth will be hard to see int he weeds of CW's foul and mendacious, stunted mind. But maybe those too could coax something out of him, if they have more video. One thing, on the video she is clearly not wearing what she was found murdered in -- so the idea that he ambushed her immediately may not be true. Biggest fear that she saw her children already slaughtered by the monster, as I do believe he killed her precious daughters first.

I was fuming as soon as I read “and now many are speculating as to what it could mean for the case...”

Great. Let’s just read the psychotic ramblings of Facebook morons, and work it into the story about Watts meeting with investigators.

It appears that they believe him, as sources have said that his account is accurate.

This would mean that he is no longer attempting to place the blame on Shanann, as he did in his interrogation.

His guilty plea was in effect a confession, but him actually saying how he did it, will hopefully silence his throng of supporters.

It takes time to compile this information, especially if they intend to release written transcripts.

That’s a likely reason for the delay.
 
I get the feeling this is once again about CWs 'mask' that he must present to the world. I always believed he pleaded guilty to those murders as not only did he know there was enough evidence to convict him but also he wanted to preserve his mask coming undone publically day after day in court in front of his friends (if he has any left), family and colleagues.

Even when SW and the girls were first reported missing his primary concern was about what others thought of him. This continued throughout the few days before he was arrested.

Historically it is evident he gravitates towards dominant 'beings' that tell him what to do and how to 'act' in this world. He was raised by a dominant women, married SW who was more dominant and had an affair with NK who was clearly dominant.

Entering prison he would have lost guidance from any one specific person. Turning to God would have been incredibly attractive for him. Repenting his sins can allow him to believe that he has redeemed himself and he can save face again.

I strongly believe that if the reports are true and he has become religious that this will be the basis behind any confession. It is possible that he may disclose elements of truth but without a doubt this will not be to put anyone else's minds at rest or provide answers.. It will all be about his own narcasstic desire to redeem himself in the eyes of his God.
 
I also think he called them and wanted to “repent”. Imo it’s much easier for him to tell details to LE verses his family.

Do I believe that he’s really repenting and found Jesus? No I don’t. He probably misses being the center of attention. And he’s trying to “save face” Just how narcissists are.

Most FA’s commit suicide so it is rare for LE to have a chance to get into the mind of one. So I suspect that is why they jumped at the chance.
 
I agree. Part of me thinks he wanted to come clean since he found Jesus.....but the other side of me thinks it would have to be something more than coming clean....i want a lawyer expert POV to it.....would they fly out for Chris to get this off his chest......or was there something incriminating law wise they needed to clear up. The quote “for the purpose of developing further insight into the case.” is very vague and could mean anything. Shanann deserves this redemption on Earth.. The Rzuceks deserve this.
