Chris Watts tells investigators more details about murders

Though the release from CBI Thursday did not disclose any further details about what Watts unveiled in the interview, the Greeley Tribune reports , citing sources close to the investigation, that Watts told investigators how and why he murdered his family – something he himself had not outright discussed previously.

I have a very vivid imagination! I always got the impression the DA Rourk didn't like NK. What if LE suspected her, but couldn't do anything as long as CW stuck to his story. Then, Feb 18th, LE meets with CW and lays out photos on a table; NK with her new lover going out to dinner, dancing, doing things lovers do. She's happy, her life is good! Maybe they had some recoded conversations. That is how the Feds got Sammy Gravano to turn on John Gotti. Video and recordings of John Gotti disparaging Sammy and disrespecting him!

So, LE says: "look Chris, Nichol is so happy and in love. Moving on. She's forgotten all about you. Listen to what she's said about you! She said; the cheese was already slipping off your cracker, when she met you! What do you think of that Chris?"

Chris has already shown he's not too smart and he can be manipulated.

I totally understand what your saying and i can see that haooening and him turning on her but what would he have to gain? Could they offer him dropping of charges or amenities in prison?

Wouldn’t they have arrested her already if he did turn on her?

So Ronny brags (today, Thursday) that CW calls him every night. This is the 28th Feb.
Local, State, and Federal investigators interviewed him on 18 Feb.

I think he doesn't share too much with Ronny. Poor mom, I wonder if she's going to throw out another "I forgive you, Son".

According to family friends doing podcasts, he does not talk about the case with them. This article seems to confirm that by quoting his father as saying he wasn’t told what the conversation was about. It has been widely reported that CW has become very, very enmeshed with the Bible in prison...perhaps this is his coming clean for religious reasons? Or perhaps he sought a prison concession? I love that the same two CBI agents from the lie detector and original confession were there for this interview and I can’t wait to hear it. I think if he is truly a believer now that his salvation lies in the truth, he won’t sugar coat things (in particular his motivations and premeditation) nor push blame. We shall see!

This was a personal crime, and “family annihilators” don’t enlist others to help them.

All the evidence we have seen, indicates that NK was not involved in this crime.

This evidence includes surveillance footage from a neighbor’s camera.

CW waited until Shanann got home, killed his family, and disposed of them.

She didn’t help.

We all think negatively of NK, but that doesn’t make her complicit in the crime.

She wasn’t.

Chris Watts tells investigators more details about murders

The Colorado Bureau of Investigation said Thursday that investigators from CBI, the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Frederick Police Department met with Watts on Feb. 18 “for the purpose of developing further insight into the case.”

My personal take on his conflicting statements is that Ronnie can’t face his son is a child killer. I cannot imagine what that would feel like. I don’t think he wants to know the truth. Perhaps they will never accept it, even in detail out of their son’s own mouth.

This galls me! The nerve of Ronnie saying it's over and done with, why would investigators even talk to CW.

Maybe because SW's family has tons of tons of questions!!!

Hopefully CW is taking all of his "bible reading" to heart and has decided to tell the WHOLE story. I have my doubts though.

I can't imagine that they would spend tax dollars just to have CW repeat his originally story. I also can't imagine they would do this even if he was ready to admit he killed the girls. He could give any major news outlet that interview. The investigators have done their job at this point and do6nt care if he's ready to tell the truth, seeing as how he's already been convicted.

I think that’s exactly what happened, he’s actually motivated to come clean, as a result of his newfound religious devotion.

It’s crazy, and hypocritical, but I believe it.

This is about getting answers for SW’s family, and putting to rest some lingering questions.

We’re all skeptical, but we know when this guy is lying to us.

We’ll have a good idea of what he says, is true or not.

Those are good questions. However, I've changed my position, MassGuy is correct, all evidence points only to CW as the killer. No video of NK in the Watts home the night of the murders. Only CW.

He already admitted he killed the girls. Plead guilty to killing each one. But I agree LE would not publicize this interview with him if he went backwards from or just repeated the guilty counts in his plea deal.

If he does come clean, this is valuable insight for research into family annihilators. I still can’t get over how quickly resolution has come in this case. When combined with the volume of video of the family from FB, it is truly a wealth of information in the lives of the victims, perpetrator, and families we almost never have an iota of in any other case, as well as justice and documentation release coming out so quickly...and dare I dream...fully come March 7th? This is amazing.
