Prosecution says "there is o single piece of pivotal evidence- we admit that" but says needle sheath found in dryer is important #BarryMorphew #SuzanneMorphew
@CBSDenver

Ouch.

Maybe rework as: "Instead if building our strong case around a single pivot, we have introduced layers of interlocking facts and evidence to show that BM had the motive and opportunity to murder his wife, SM, and made a series of attempts to cover up his crimes, including ongoing attempts to influence and obstruct investigations, dispose of evidence and then profit from them through his sales of..."

Oh wow. This explains the “Turkey” excuse! Here’s your premeditation.

On Saturday between 11:30 and 1 pm, the last day there's proof Suzanne was alive, Barry removed the game cameras near their home. The tranquilizer cap found in the Morphew dryer is a key piece of evidence, and prosecutors say he had injuries on the outside of his hands.

that's what we were guessing he was doing for that time .....

I know the Judge doesn’t need all of the other stuff that we all know included in the state’s closing argument, since he has it already. I’m expecting a fiery capable close from the defense. They are good. Hopefully style has nothing to do with freeing a murderer.

And I think the tweets are a little confusing. Hoping we can read the AA. Love this about BM removing the game cameras near their home!

Attorney Sean Connelly is now talking. He's representing Barry Morphew.

"This case is based on supposition — no dead body," he starts. "It is remarkable what we just heard." There is no physical evidence and no eyewitnesses, he continues.

"This case can't go forward."

This proves premeditation! He removed the game cameras between 11:30 and 1:00, went into town, came back and hunted her down at 2:44.

@LaurenScharfTV

Deputy D.A. said #BarryMorphew couldn't say bye to Suzanne because she isn't there (May 10). The tranquilizer evidence is significant. Agent Grusing said the biologist talked about if SM was tranquilized she would have hypoxia and would lightly snore.

WAIT she couldn’t have been snoring when he left. Wasn’t she dead already?

Exactly! I did not like that wording either.
