"This case is based on supposition — no dead body," he starts. "It is remarkable what we just heard." There is no physical evidence and no eyewitnesses, he continues.

The defense has added a high-powered attorney: Sean Connelly, the former Colorado attorney who led the appeals case in the Oklahoma City Bombing cases. The prosecution will give arguments and Morphew's attorneys will follow.

On Saturday between 11:30 and 1 pm, the last day there's proof Suzanne was alive, Barry removed the game cameras near their home. The tranquilizer cap found in the Morphew dryer is a key piece of evidence, and prosecutors say he had injuries on the outside of his hands.

The defense, on the texts of May 6 when Suzanne said she was done: "Barry didn’t say I’m going to kill you. There’s no evidence of domestic violence." And May 9, the day of the alleged murder: "Average day for Barry Morphew."

I guess the inference is that the last time Barry saw Suzanne alive (whenever that was), she was snoring from being tranquilized. Then he killed her.

"There is no motive... just speculation." There isn't proof of the opportunity to kill #SuzanneMorphew and dispose of her. Attorney Connolly added the state gave offensive redirect of hunting her down like an animal. Now the theory is that he carried a syringe, not a gun.
