While I tend to agree with you, there was a lot of fantasy in their relationship, the defense is planning to bury the jury in lovey-dovey-we-should-get-married texts.
Unfortunately I somewhat agree and at the very least, another innocent woman and her many children will be thrown under the bus and likely have been already. IMO Although I am not excusing Jeff’s behavior the focus should remain on Barry. Most of us are perfectly imperfect humans. I recognize and appreciate what Suzanne’s Jeff brought to her life and am maybe ridiculously thankful for that. No winners only extenuating pain for so many innocents. IMO

If I lived where the Ritters live, I would probably have game cameras aimed at the creek to capture wildlife coming to drink. Since their property is between PP and the bike location, I wonder if we will learn at trial that they had cameras which captured anything interesting such as BM in the creek the day TD found him, or even BM on the way to or from placing the bike. Or would any real juicy evidence like that have necessarily been mentioned in the PH?

I've just caught up from a dozen pages or so back, and there were several posts mentioning cadaverine on the Bobcat or his truck. Can someone confirm for me that LE actually says they found that? I only recall them saying the Bobcat had no apparent involvement in SM's case. Cadaverine found on the Bobcat would seem to conflict with that? They found a barefoot print (can they get DNA from that?) but I didn't recall cadaverine. I mean officially she's missing and not even known to be deceased. Wouldn't the presence of cadaverine cause it to be formally changed from missing to known deceased?
Your thoughts are intriguing and I further wonder what the Cushman’s properties yielded regarding cameras and evidence. Remember LE asked neighbors to check their video and save it but not necessarily alert LE right away? I have wondered before why Barry was offered solace there and whether the place was bugged. Time will tell but thanks for sharing your thoughts as it is certainly interesting. IMO

MOO pacing and looking out the window at every noise sounds like fear of discovery.
I would imagine a person with a missing loved one burying their head in their hand reviewing every second of the last few weeks over and over again for clues, was a threat missed, was someone following them/her?

Okay couple more questions...

well first a few notes: When detectives called Barry to let him know her bike was found, he cried and said did you find the phone? Not did you find Suzanne, not where was it, nothing about her, her condition, was the bike wrecked, was it sitting there somewhere, etc.. nope just "did you find the phone"

He put that phone somewhere near the bike, I don't know why it wasn't found, but why would that be the first question he asked?

Second, the younger daughter's text on Mothers Day just before 4pm talks about not even wanting to be at home because they fight so bad. This makes me so sad for those girls. They might be supporting their dad because it's all they feel they can do. They know, they knew, and I think eventually they will see they can love their dad and NOT support him. Trauma does funny things to people. Remember it took Suzanne 25+ years to leave him. Maybe it always wasn't bad, but people don't just turn into controlling narcissists overnight. He was controlling for a long time. Likely cancer and his lack of care for her during that time opened her eyes even more to his selfishness (all my opinion of course, but it's what I see)

Okay questions:

On page 34 of the AA, (actual page 32 of the document), "Barry's Verizon records", it lists getting data for their devices. Things are redacted and you can tell it's Barry, Suzanne, M1, M2, and then the last thing redacted is who?? Even the daughters when redacted just mark out their first names and shows Morphew and another redacted part assuming that is the phone numbers. Then very last redacted one shows no last name and who else is on Barry's plane with a redacted name?

On page 40 of the AA, (actual page 38 of the document), Barry received a call from "redacted", but beside it (Chaffee County Sheriff's Office)... who are the protecting at the sheriffs office? I think they have redacted his daughters and the boyfriend of one daughters family, but why redact the name of someone at CCSO?
The charge of influencing a goverment official may apply to that.

I believe the notion of cadaverine found on the bobcat comes from the search dogs that alerted on the equipment-- and one dog that climbed inside and sat on the seat.

To my knowledge, there was no report citing the barefoot print in the bucket tested for DNA. We didn't even get as much as 'the sample was insufficient to test,' noting. That alone gives me reason to believe the earlier testimony at the PH that the bobcat was not related to SM's disappearance. MOO

431 am 5/10 Barry’s phone goes back into airplane mode at the his home. 5:37 am – morphew turns into buena vista & heads towards broomfield. 538 he texts his mom “happy mothers day”(at this time, his sister kelly in fam row grabs shirley’s hand and they have a “moment”) Aug 10, 2021

bbm red
That is very early to text your old mother and very early for his mother, to have a visitor already, whose hand she could grab. IMO
Did they have a "Suzanne-memory minute" together on May 10th at 5:38am??

What does "fam row" mean?

Take note that BM texting his mom at 5:38 AM is Colorado or MST whereas his mom near Arcadia, IN would be on EST or a couple of hours ahead so his text is not so early for his mom.

I believe OP is referring to mom and her daughter being seated in the courtroom in the seat reserved for family (i.e., fam row).

Barry tried to check all of the boxes with the text/phone calls, but he did that poorly. Texted Mom early. Texted Suzanne at 8:41 am-“call me” (even though he told investigators cell service was bad at PP). Texted Suzanne at 3:30 pm-“call me”. He hadn’t heard back in 6 hours, but no worries. Barry did not attempt to call Suzanne until 7:21 pm, on his way home, two hours after he received a call from the Ritters. He had that whole drive home to try to get in touch with Suzanne, but he didn’t. He waited until after he received a call from CCSO, an hour into his drive. I wonder if they asked him if he had attempted to contact his wife.

Suzanne is presumed deceased.

All records checks available to the FBI and local law enforcement indicate as of April 30, 2021, that Suzanne has not used a credit card, nor her social security number, nor has she been contacted by law enforcement, not flown in an airplane, not crossed a national border, not established utilities or housing, nor otherwise continued in her normal pattern of life for over 355 days. Based upon legal supposition, Suzanne Morphew, based on this lack of proof of life, is deceased (People v. Scott, 176 Cal.App.2d 458).

I believe the notion of cadaverine found on the bobcat comes from the search dogs that alerted on the equipment-- and one dog that climbed inside and sat on the seat.

I've come to agree that the Bobcat did not play any part in the disappearance of Suzanne Morphew. But it and the trailer were the only thing on the property with any cadaverine on it.

How can that possibly occur? Because Barry is a man who likes to cut corners.

(May 11, 2020 Search of Puma Path Residence)
On May 11, 2020, pursuant to an authorized search warrant obtained by your affiant, while assisting with the search of the exterior of the residence your affiant located what appeared to be suspect blood on the apron of the garage near the east side of the three-car garage.

Additionally, it was noted by your affiant and other investigators that there was a Bobcat Skid Steer parked in a parking area/driveway, west of the Morphew residence. Next to the Skid Steer (south) was a flat-bed trailer. The trailer was in its tilt position. The trailer bed had some loose gravel and dirt on it. The trailer did not have a jack on it and the tongue of the trailer was lying on the ground. The Skid Steer was parked to the left side near the trailer tongue. The items were positioned such that the Skid Steer bucket appeared to have been used to un-hitch the trailer from a vehicle, most likely Barry’s truck, and set the trailer on the ground.

Your affiant examined the Skid Steer and noted that the cutting edge of the Skid Steer bucket had been recently replaced, so there was no wear on it. It was also noted, several larger bolts and nuts were lying in the Skid Steer bucket and on the front end of the trailer bed.

(K-9 search on May 23, 2020)
On May 23, 2020, search teams along with K-9s and K-9 handlers (Blood Hound Man Trackers NecroSearch) searched the 19507 Puma Path property. During this search, three different K-9s were used. Each of the three K-9s were ran blindly and individually during the search. On the west area of the driveway/parking area, where a flatbed trailer and Bobcat Skid Steer are parked, all three K-9s “trained final response” alerted (the K-9s used have been trained in a specific way to alert their handlers when they detect possible human decamp/remains) on the top of the trailer. It should be noted, on the bed of the trailer there is gravel and dirt. This is an area the K-9s alerted. All three K-9s again alerted on the Bobcat, and one of the K-9s jumped into the Bobcat and tried to lay down on the driver’s seat. The Bobcat located on the Morphew’s property is identified as a 2018 Bobcat Compact Skid Steer, Model# S590 and product identification number AR9Rl8813. The flatbed trailer and Bobcat Skid Steer are parked directly next to each other.

To the timeline!

May 09, 13:51 – 14:13 – Barry at DSI, replacing Bobcat blade
He was wearing a blue t-shirt and khaki shorts.

May 09, 14:44 – Shooting Chipmunks? Barry had a .22 in the moments when Suzanne ceased the communicate with everyone she loved in the world.
Shooting Chipmunks? Barry had a .22 in the moments when Suzanne ceased the communicate with everyone she loved in the world.

May 09, 16:44 – Barry parks his truck in the garage.
Barry claims to have been loading his truck and cleaning off his workbench.
Before he can pull the truck in, he has to get the trailer off. See above.

Here's where I move from fact to speculation. Suzanne is dead in the master bathroom floor. He's had his time-to-process and I think he probably moved her into the tub. If there had been any blood or fluids from the dart or the confrontation where he got scratched it's easy to clean.

But he still got some cadaverine on him and it's the only cadaverine that escaped the master suite. He didn't expect any to have formed yet, even though it's possible to develop within an hour and chemo might affect the speed at which caderverine can form (I Googled, there were a whole lot of scientific articles with a lot of Latin and science and nothing in plain terms.).

So he goes outside in his khaki shorts and blue t-shirt to unhook the trailer. So he releases the trailer hitch, lowers the ramps, climbs up, gets in the Bobcat, backs it off, drives it around, and uses it to lift it off the hitch. He parks the Bobcat right where police find it the next day. He hops into his truck and pulls it into the garage to go on with is body disappearing plan.

Lot's of chances to leave touch cadaverine from his hands.

Thank you NoSI. My son is here with me now. We live 700 miles away from each other. Guess I have to go through the stages of grief and I am. It hurts so much. I miss him. I loved him with every bit of my soul and he loved me just as much.

My condolences, Jakat, absolutely heartbreaking. ❤️

And again - who is it?

True, but keep in mind that dogs can occasionally get confused between humans and other animals or at least experts will testify to that. Also a potential counter argument would be that Barry trailer is not new and who the heck knows where he's excavated,...the stone and gravel could have been from somewhere there were old graves as far back in time as Indiana and it has been posited by experts that the dogs "might" be able to smell corpses that are thirty years old...depends on the dog. As far as "who" climbed into the bobcat and when that would have happened causing dogs to react might not be able to be pinpointed to May 9 or 10 also. I'm also of the position that they trailer and bobcat did not move once parked and was not used in the commission of this crime. LE on the other hand did dig up the entrance to the Longhorn subdivision after a dog alert during the fall people's search so LE never "ignored" any dogs that were used...they must have had enough knowledge and confidence to "know" when they should pursue a particular tip.

Was touch cadaverine found in his truck?

In the Watts case, Shannan was murdered in the house, and ultimately transported in Chris' pickup truck. To my knowledge, no cadaver dogs hit on either locations.

Therefore I am not concerned about about the lack of hits in either location here (house or truck).

It's the lack of truck activity during the time he transported the body that makes me strongly question that vehicle's involvement in that aspect here.

As for the cadaver dog hits on the bobcat, I also think there may be an innocent explanation (false hits), as we do know that it doesn't appear the bobcat was involved in the body disposal.

Yeah, but I'm talking about all three dogs alerting on the same spots. I agree that animal smells can confuse dogs, but we know Barry's whole yard has been coated in dead critters at some point. All three dogs hitting on equipment ONLY Barry uses is something to take more seriously.

It's residual gravel and dirt, probably from the rock beach site he worked with MG at that morning. The site was dug up.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding your question Lyanna. The redacted person is MH, MM2's boyfriend. he was coming out of the garage when police arrived at the house. I would guess MM2 asked him to go by and check the house.

I take it he implied, yeah my folks fight on occasion but nothing like Barry and Suzanne.
