By now, the girls know she’s dead. She won’t walk in the door. She never wanted to leave them. Even if I thought my dad was justified because their mom had a boyfriend, that anger toward their mom sympathy for their dad would have worn off by now.

So what’s holding them? Guilt? They dug in their heels and they have enough of Barry’s DNA that they can’t tell the truth? It must be eating them up inside, especially daughter #2.
^ Excised, most respectfully, for emphasis ^
...undaunted, I shall try once more:

In my view - and it has been such and so posted quite early on - @ Love Never Fails has here put a thumb unerringly on the mechanism by which the curtain shall fall on this faux-shakespearian tragedy. [My descriptive adjective and respectfully lower-cased.]

I pray God will bless and keep these sisters; strengthen and guide them through their coming ordeal, and bestow upon the thousands who have been touched by Suzanne's vanishing, sufficient time to learn that justice was, on our mortal coil at least, meted out.

I didn't see a problem with what she said in the Profiling Evil interview, but this one may have been inappropriate.
Hi SS, I agree, I did not see a big issue with the content of the Profiling Evil interview, it was awhile ago and I would have to read a transcript for a refresh, but the why would she do it is what I have not been able to understand. Jmo. No offense to anyone intended.

From the article “
Small-town politics may come into play with the baby case, as there's a web of previous adversarial history to the legal cast of characters.

In 2020, Judge Turner lost the district attorney's race to Stanley, who took office the following January.

Months before that, LeDoux also lost to Stanley in the Republican Primary Election. LeDoux was the previous 17th Judicial District Attorney.

The law firm he works for is in part owned by Ramsey Lama, the last judge to oversee the Morphew case. Lama dismissed the case without prejudice in April 2022 and resigned from the bench soon after. “

Iirc, Stanley ran on not being politically correct and I guess that was a pretty self aware and accurate assessment. Why she does interviews— I don’t know bc she is not good at PR and puts her foot in her mouth. But from reading the article imo it seems clear to me that there really are people definitely trying to take her out - if they supported her none of this stuff would be an issue.
all imo

Agree. I also seem to recall that the judge ( I think Llama) said the mere fact that the show was called Profiling Evil was prejudicial in itself. I had to smh at that one. What a circus - none of it about justice that I can tell. Outsized ego’s and petty power struggles.
just my opinion

Because the defense knows the Chipmunks aren't going to testify to the contrary.

This is Barry's story and weak as it is, he's sticking to it........

JMO

My point is they aren't sticking with it.

BM made the claim in an on the record admissible interview with Law Enforcement when confronted with state's evidence

Now his attorney is claiming he was lying and the truth is he wasn't running around at all.

When I went to law school, the attorney is not allowed to create a new version for her client. Only the accused can say whether he was running or not, and so far he said he was running.

So I have no idea why IE thinks it's a great idea to claim BM now has a different explanation

The vortex behind this steams me.

The DA who is prosecuting RH as the LISK is giving interviews. He is speaking directly about the case, the strength of the evidence.

Nothing "outrageous" about it.

IMO LA had every right to speak about the actions of her office and the general strength of her case. She answered what she could and declined to answer where she couldn't.

Someone is out for blood here.

that's been the case all along

From your link.

There was no gag order. A judge signed off on the AA, Barry was arrested. From memory, I recall her saying innocent until proven guilty, deferred on some question, but personally, I don't think she was out of line in being interviewed on her job and investigations and that they felt they had a solid arrest. Happens all the time. We believe he's guilty.... we welcome the opportunity to prove it in the court of law....

Nothing outrageous about it.

Jurors are instructed that they are not to weigh that a defendant has been arrested IIRC in their deliberation. Every defendant has been arrested. Every DA is looking for conviction. Prejudicial? Not any more prejudicial than whatever landed the defendant in jail in the first place.

it's the Defense who labored to inoculate the jury. BM loves his wife. Rogue cops, mystery DNA, exculpatory dandelion fluff.

Somebody wants LS out badly. Why?

I smell something. I'm just not sure what.

Here's the interview. Whether it's cause enough for dismissal, I doubt, but it is unprofessional imo.

I remember this case -- May 2023, the death of a 10-month infant that was so horrific other networks reported on the case with big WARNING DISCLAIMERS.

I recall a nurse in another room at the hotel heard screams from the infant and came to his aid.

So LS had an emotional reaction to the murder of an infant-- and apologized for being blunt. Yeah, let's string her up...

It may be the bleeped word and comments about the accused father of an abused, now deceased baby, starting at 1:47 in the video.

Yeah but that is a nothing comment IMO

Check out the comments by Law Enforcement in the Gilgo beach case if you want to see how far other law enforcement officers go pre trial!
