So what was or is his profession? I’m seeing “landscaper” which can be very lucrative if you are literally doing hardscaping jobs in wealthy areas like building retaining walls and laying out gardens and basically building exterior living spaces… building patios, pergolas, decks, pool spaces and so on...
He was a landscaper.

Don't know what he is up to these days.

Wouldn’t the coroner know by now if there is an obvious gun shot wound? I know it may not be public for weeks due to lab testing, etc. But don’t you think they have an idea now of what could have caused her death? I thought testing was much faster now. Admittedly I am pretty dumb about these things, especially forensics, etc.
I think so, and maybe that's why the police went back to the scene to look for something like a blade or spent round.

I believe it’s possible to be strangled or asphyxiated without breaking the hyoid bone tho. So while many think he tranquilized her perhaps to the point of death, we just don’t know that. It is of course very strange that that item was found in the dryer, but maybe it was never used, or he shot and missed and then just smothered her with a pillow or whatever.
A needle sheath was in the dryer.
If I remember correctly Suzanne had inherited a large sum of money from her family. I’m not really sure beyond that if Barry had money himself.
she had two inheritances her sister said of around $250,000 each. They lived comfortably on Barry’s income and multiple properties they owned in Indiana which after selling their first home and some property and Suzanne’s inheritance they were able to purchase the Colorado home for cash. They needed a loan from her dad to satisfy an all cash purchase but they had paid it back. They were squarely in the upper middle class in terms of assets and both seemed to be debt adverse.

I think so, yes. Would they say it publicly right now? Probably not - but it should not be taking weeks. So I'm guessing no stab wounds, no bone fractures, no gunshots.

IMO.
If her bones were scattered, would the coroner need time to determine if there were fractures?

I, for one, do not believe him. At all. I believe he knew. And I have my own reasons for believing that, so it's IMO but not, IMO, mere speculation.

BM claims he didn't know, because that makes him the even more obvious murderer. But he said things to people (who then repeated them on youtube and elsewhere, before basically going into hiding) that make me seriously doubt that he learned from the FBI. The things that BM said were later corroborated by JL. There was a particular statement he made about Suzanne and "some man" to one of his co-workers (perhaps MG). MG, at any rate, departed CO and said it was because of fear of Barry. MG and Barry's closeness was apparently notable, as MG said many people thought they were having an affair, which she denied - but she did say they were good friends/close work associates. She was on the list of witnesses for his future trial, when he was indicted.

If you want to go down a rabbit hole, you can go back through the scant MSM stories on the time that Barry followed Suzanne to Florida, I believe it was. She was going there to "visit family," but he knew she was also meeting up with JL (who admitted he went to Florida too). This information came from Suzanne's best friend, IIRC. It's in the threads here.

So Suzanne went to Florida, and then Barry (without telling her) took a flight to Florida. During that trip, she met up with JL, IIRC. And I believe BM knew that from that time onward.

I believe Suzanne's friend and not Barry.

Obviously, this is a matter of our personal interpretation of the various accounts. ICBW, but am interested to see if any of the other "old timers" here remember Barry crashing the Florida trip.

IMO.
I remember that!

Thank you. He definitely used bleach for something. I can’t remember if he actually left the tools for his workers or took them back home with him.
I’m asking because wouldn’t LE have smelled bleach from his truck if tools were bleached? And wouldn’t the workers have smelled it on the tools?

Depends. I think if the tools were in the open bed of a pickup, they'd get a pretty good airing out.

SM's Remains Found in LE's Search for Another MisPers.

@SteelCity91 snipped for focus.
First, agreeing w ^^^^ "better to say "We found her remains and we are not going to comment any further.""

But not sure why LE acknowledging SM's remains were located while searching for another MisPers --- i.e., finding SM more or less by coincidence --- makes LE "look weak."
Do you think "looks weak:"
- Now to gen public, or
- Later at trial, if circumstances are detailed, or
- _____?
@SteelCity91? Anyone?

Sorry to be dense. Off to the kitchen for caffeine.
@al66pine .. I just want to add to my original comment, that I do not believe that LE lied. This was just adding to what the retired law enforcement guy was saying on Youtube (I have not seen the video just saw the comments on here). I am only saying it looks weak if LE did in fact lie about how they came about searching for her remains in that area. I just don’t see how it would tip off BM by saying that.

I don’t think it looks weak to the public because I don’t see it as weak but maybe more towards the IE/defense. It gives them more of a “aha” moment, that the FBI was no where close in searching for her and allows for additional comments. If they would just say “We found her remains and we are not going to comment any further” that almost makes the IE/defense panic and think “, how did they find her”.

Hope you got your caffeine!

I think Suzanne's remains may have been moved from their original spot. I'm sure I'm wrong, but it's just a feeling I have. Perhaps BM wanted to get them away from PP and more into a generic area to lead the investigation off of him. He was residing right there in PP for months staying with his friends.

Just a thought, MOO
Part of me agrees that he may have moved her there later sometime. But then again, they had their eyes on him big time after she went missing. So IDK?

I sure wish a reporter would ask IE about how they expected the wife and mother to walk back into their lives when they acted to immediately sell their home and how BM couldn't liquidate SM's assets fast enough!
Those late night "prayer sessions" at Shoshona's house began pretty quickly as well.

Please explain why not helpful.
She is trying to imply that all those missing people were kidnapped by a lone serial killer. And that is a wild, crazy conspiracy theory, imo.

The area that SM's remains were found is known dump site for dead bodies. There is no reason to believe they were all killed by the same person.

In LA County we have the Angeles Forest and the high desert in Bakersfield where lots of bodies are dumped. They were not dumped by one or 2 killers. They were dumped there because it is a remote area on the edge of a crowded region. Much like Moffat area.

I wonder if they really had close eyes on him at the beginning. Remember when TD found him shirtless and wet near the creek?
