The girls do not need to be convinced of their father's guilt....and the jury does.

True, but if the details are really as horrific as some people think, I still think investigators would want the family to know before they are made public.

What the family thinks and how a trial is conducted are two different things, so yes, even if they or anyone else believe he's innocent, it will be up to the jury to decide.
