I'm glad to see more information getting out now. It is obvious that BM has been telling lies. People of his inner circle will start to draw accurate conclusions about discrepancies that he has told. The puzzle pieces are falling into place.

Personally, it makes me angry to be used and lied to. It's an insult.
He will be losing the loyalty of the friends that he has lied to. They will be doing the right thing. Moo

BBM This is what I heard as well. That he disappeared from the group to another location nearby and laid down on the ground. A friend that was with BM apparently took a picture of him laying down. LE is interested in this area. I don’t think BM also went and collapsed/lay down in Crested Butte. MOO

Thanks for clarifying. I admit that I was starting to have visions of BM collapsing, and lying prostrate for a photo while muttering "Oh Suzanne..." across various hilltops as part of his SODDI abjection tour.

Of course, mountain lions have been known to hunt from hilltops...

Could be that BM could did not come up with the name of any employee verifiably scheduled to arrive on Sunday or Monday. So much that le knows that we don't.

We have never ever rented a hotel room to bring tools into. That's just a weird excuse. Been doing this over 35 years.
I guess maybe if the tools were only needed for 1 day? They couldn't have been large heavy tools tho. One doesn't haul those up to a hotel room.
Did he have a tool box on the back of his truck?
Could he lift the back seats up of his truck where there is hidden storage?
This makes no sense to me, renting a hotel room where he could keep his tools.
But I do believe he rented a hotel room. jmo

If he just showed up at a motel on Sunday asking for a room, I'm thinking he used it to clean up evidence.

we uh, we had two daughters that were coming, home from the trip, and i got a job in denver that i wanted to get started on, on sunday, set it up for my work because my workers are coming in sunday night

(BM) I got up, Mother's Day morning, 5am, your sister was laying there asleep, I got dressed, I left for work.
(AM) I said what work?
(BM) He said I had a job (I believe it was Colorado Springs), where he was building a wall, and they did it last fall, but part of the wall was crooked, it wasn't up to standard, so he had to go back in there, take it out and re-do it. And he said I was going there to set that job site up in the hotel, put the tools in the hotel, so that my crew could show up there the next day and we could start rebuilding that wall.

Tell you what. Let's split the difference:

You remain hopeful that BM's friends will see the light.
I'll remain skeptical that they'll do the right thing.

We'll likely both be proven right.
Some of his friends will come to recognize they've been duped, and others will dig in and remain willfully blind.

I think his Indiana friends are more likely to be your "salt of the earth" types, but that's just me talking.
(I'm partial to people from the Midwest, so I'm admittedly biased).

another tidbit I learned from Andy's interview last night. He said he spent 4 days in Co. searching.
Sometime during this period he talked to CBI
who told him BM was NOT co-operating and did not offer/or refused to take any polygraph or voice test.

So within the first 4-5 days of the search, BM
stopped co-operating. FBI came in on the 14th,
4 days after SM reported missing.

Didn't take long for BM to show his true colors to LE. Wonder how many inconsistencies he'd
told by then?

My understanding of that portion of the interview was that it was when CBI descended on IN much later to speak with family, friends and co-workers there that it was revealed that BM was not being co-operative and had not taken a LD test. CBI shared this with AM as they were curious that AM believed BM had nothing to do with SM disappearance.

I agree @SuziQ , that’s how I understood it too. It happened when AM was already back home. The CBI went to IN much later to talk to friends and family.

I agree that the 9:00pm time is very interesting. (Mountain time btw). That leaves a very small window of 9pm - 11:30pm (noise at job site) for an alleged murder to occur.

This is speculation, but here is what has me curious:

-Let’s day a murder happens at 9:00pm and SM’s online messaging with her friend comes to an abrupt halt.
-I wonder what time lapse there is from that chat stopping to the odd profile communications happening is. It seems likely that it is 2 hours or les of time lapse.
-I wonder if social media platforms can tell if a user is logged on via laptop or smart phone. I’m pretty positive they can tell that.
-It would be interesting to know what devices were being used for the friends chat as well as the out of place profile communications.
-What if a laptop was being used for the friend chat but the later communication was from a mobile phone?
-If so, there will be interesting data such as location associated with that mobile phone.
-I wonder if BM needed to get his equipment from that job site at 11;30pm but in doing so realized he could bury her phone and cement would be poured a day or so later.
-Maybe BM is posting as SM via her phone while not at their residence. Does Salida have better cell reception than Maysville?
-I can see how LE could be so exact in their cut and dig search as ground penetrating radar would definitely pick up a phone or pieces of a phone with that type of accuracy.

thinking the murder occurred Saturday night and then the bike was dropped off around 5 am en route to Colorado Springs. Also think the body is likely buried along that route to springs not in salida. Moo.

Once you get west of the front range in Colorado (the foot hills and in the mountains), you should add anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours of travel time to a gps's travel time estimate. It has actually gotten much worse this year.

There is no feasible excuse for the "tools in hotel room" story unless the wall is on the hotel property. Even then it makes 1000% more sense to have employees take/replace tools from truck, and not soiling a hotel room floor. He's just not that intelligent. What kind of wall repair job could it be that all the tools fit into his vehicle?

Looking forward to when the homeowner knew he was coming to the house at 7 am... and can verify what he was doing by HIMSELF for hours that morning, went to a local Lowe's etc to purchase items, was at the home setting out what he purchased etc etc.... to have left at 5 am from his house in an urgency on mothers day.. of all days.

...Unless, he never got there *cough* when first arriving and just sat all by himself at a Waffle House nearby in a booth eating a "smothered" "covered" "tapped" "country" "top" hashbrowns.

Maybe I'm the odd one out..... if my husband had to set up a job on Mothers Day, it wouldn't bother me in the least bit. I know that him being gone pays our bills. I dont need breakfast in bed with flowers and the whole nine yards.... I know my husband loves me and appreciates what I do for our kids. How do you know that SM didn't feel the same way about Mothers day? Ot could have been, oh hubby will be out of town and girls will be gone. We will just pick another day to do Mothers Day celebration. Not everyone's world stops bc its Mothers Day.

ok, i decided to listen again, so i'm just gonna make a few notes.

1. if the drug-fueled angry ex-employee that was harrassing the morphew family was something barry immediately got worried about, why would he send his female older neighbor over to the house alone, not once, but twice, to check in the house and in the garage? why wouldn't he immediately announce that to the public to get that info out there? (instead we got "it's too soon.") why is it "too soon" to tell the public there is a dangerous person out there that had been threatening his family?!?

2: why were barry's buddies/family the only ones out searching? why did andy mention the guy who separated from them in the woods that first morning, and that when they got back to base, this buddy was already back there? why didn't they spot the "item" when they had searched that area already? (i know this is not uncommon. just making note).

3. where are suzanne's diamonds?

4. why was barry taking off on his own during the search? why did he lie down on the ground in that particular area?

5. why is barry lying about lie detectors and voice analysis tests? do his buddies know the truth? (surely they have been interviewed, right? would LE confirm to them that barry was not taking ld's the way they did with andy?) if so, why are these buddies so staunchly defending barry's lies?

6. where are the daughters, and why aren't they communicating with the moorman's? it sounds like they are a close family, and andy even compliments how wonderful barry's mom and sisters are. why did they have to go on youtube and make a public statement in that way to initiate contact with their granddaughters/nieces?

Re: # 5 It will be interesting to see how long his buddies stick with BM. They have to realize that when BM is charged, they may be charged as accessories/aiding and abetting. Doubt his buddies are willing to go to jail for him.

Wonder if that has dawned on them yet? Wait for it.....

We’ve heard nothing about any searches there, but considering that LE said they had performed 10 large-scale searches, I think it’s overwhelmingly likely that location was on the list.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Barry was never at that location in the first place.
