The victims names and birth date's are being released to the media via a piece of paper that will be handed out.

BBM This worries me. It appears that the school AL attended had concerns about him and wanted to address them. Possibly asking that he attend an alternative school or special needs school to deal with whatever issues he had. Mom may have quit because she was angry at the school system and may have made those feelings, mistakingly, known to AL.

MOO

It begs the question, what kind of behavioral trouble did he have back then? Everybody says he was a bright, good student so I presume it was not about serious learning difficulties.

ME says that all of the wounds he is currently aware of were caused by the rifle, not the handguns.

He said that only a few he has seen were short range, and I believe he sad he has seen some victims with 3-11 wounds. He does say this is just a sample, as he hasn't been able to do a thorough investigation on each of them yet. There were pictures taken of the faces of the children and then passed on to parents for identification, rather then bringing the families to the bodies. ME thinks that all the child victims were first graders, but he isn't sure. He thinks every victim was shot more than once.

I have to stop now.

All the wounds were caused by the long weapon.

I thought that was found in the car...but that could be wrong as a lot of the reporting has been.

Yes, each death was from the rifle.... the assault gun

Medical examiner: H. Wayne Carver II

- All the wounds were caused "by the long weapon."

- Won't speculate on caliber of ammo used.

- He did seven autopsies. Each had between three and eleven wounds.

- "Everybody I dealt with, I believe they're all first-graders."

- "I believe everybody was hit more than once."

This is an emotional event.

I live about 1/2 hour away and very familiar with the area. I worked in the area.
I have been tending to a sick friend all week and reading online.

Firstly, this is so shocking on many levels. Newtown is a bucolic "bedroom" community, upscale. This is the last place you would expect something like this.

Secondly, my heart goes out to all those effected directly and otherwise. The whole area is in shock.

Thirdly, there has been a huge amount of mis-info regarding this whole event by MSM.

MSM reported the mother was a teacher and killed in the school------wrong.
MSM reported Ryan was the killer---------wrong
MSM reported early the father was killed in NJ-----------wrong
MSM reported there was a second shooter---------IDK?

This event seems to trigger political issues and gun control on many levels.
I am not ready to go there. Nor am I interested in discussions about "spanking". None of us know the real story behind all this. Right now, it's all assumption.

Again, I pray for all those involved. I cannot begin to imagine what they are going through.

:heartbeat::heartbeat::heartbeat:

Each victim received multiple wounds.....often from the bullet trajectory NOT going into detail

Took pictures of facial features for identification for family. Not the time for "up close and personal."

H. Wayne is a STRONG believer that the decedent does NOT have to be viewed by family directly
