This may be a little too late, or a lot too late but for anybody inclined to go to a mall Bath and Body sells hand bac. They also take orders online. Every fall I pick up a dozen at least and tuck them in with Xmas gifts and then I have some for DH and myself. It might be worth checking.

Thanks!!! I purchased a ton of it last year after Christmas on sale and packed up to give this year. Yea, I'm cheep. Heading to the attic to retrieve.

1/Containment and isolation CAN work. South Korea was successful. Italy was not.
The red arrow marks where the USA is right now (hopefully, we may actually be further along due to a lack of testing). Not difference in Y-Axis

2/Everyone's personal choices and decisions right now determine which graph we will follow. Every prevention is important, every mistake is compounded.
8 days from now we can be adding 3,000 patients a day to our hospital systems (Italy) or <500 (South Korea).

I don’t see the US concerned enough to stay home. My opinion, only, based on my neck of the woods. As I said above, some kids stayed home from school today, they are out and about, coughing, sneezing, touching & probably contaminating all they come in contact with. If public venues are allowed to remain open, that is an invitation to “come”, imo.

I think it depends on how each state addresses it. I feel here they are encouraging self isolation when schools and other places are closed...

We are good for food and really need to eat what's at the bottom of the freezer. TP supply is good for about a week and a bit. TP is out of stock in 2 of our grocery stores. DH had to go to Canadian Tire and they do sell it. Wont know til end of day when he gets home if he got any.

MASS

.@MassGovernor & @MassDPH must use their emergency authority to temporarily suspend certain licensing requirements so that more doctors, nurses and other health professionals can treat #COVID19. We are likely to face urgent staffing shortages. We need to learn from Italy.

EXCELLENT proposal - Senator @EricLesser is pushing @MassGovernor for emergency powers to allow more HCW to treat #COVID19. This will also allow more junior nurses, doctors and retired physicians to be field promoted to active duty in clinics and hospitals. (Italy did this too).

We were able to cancel our flight to Chicago, which was on 04/03. Because our reservation was through Chase, we had to call them to do so.

I was on the phone waiting three hours to do so. Yep, three hours.

Thankfully, the cancellation went through.

We received full credit for our flights, and Chase told us no change penalties would apply. Supposedly, we can rebook through the end of the year.

This is just a "heads-up" for those cancelling any plans. Hopefully, if any of you need to cancel or make changes to travel plans, you can do so online.

I just watched the RHode island press conference they emphasized schools closed/ STAY HOME
(Otherwise this school closed thing doesn’t work) thanked teachers and educators and talked about daycares etc staying open.

I think it depends on how each state addresses it. I feel here they are encouraging self isolation when schools and other places are closed...

Ok, my husband and I are all set to self quarantine. It was a lot of work to get our prescriptions filled and make sure we have everything we need for a month. We are both in the vulnerable category. We had to cancel vacation plans and a visit to a museum exhibit. We also have to stay away from our children and their kids as all but one works with the public. They are in LE and banking. We have plans to go on walks, drives staying in the car and Netflix binging. And of course I will be on WS 24/7!!!

I pray for everyone hourly. God bless you all.
