Our farm vets sent emails/texts about limited availability.
I need to call to find out about pulling Coggins, and routine vaccinations.
Dang..I do get those done in the spring too. Mine are due in May. Wonder if she would let me do my own? Drop everything off and I drop it back off. Not sure the legal on Coggins, I’ve volunteered for her low cost clinics so I could do it if I’m allowed.

ITALY

Dr. Gai Peleg told Israeli television that in northern Italy, the orders are not to allow those over 60 access to respiratory machines.

Israeli M.D. Gai Peleg, who is currently working to save lives in Parma, Italy, told Channel 12 that things are only getting worse as the number of patients keeps growing.

Peleg said that, from what he sees and hears in the hospital, the instructions are not to offer access to artificial respiratory machines to patients over 60, as such machines are limited in number.

Israel is currently purchasing thousands of respiratory machines, and they are supposed to arrive in the country by mid-May. On Saturday, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that Israel is using every means it has to secure medical equipment to help patients during the pandemic.

Israeli doctor in Italy: We no longer help those over 60

Idk but horses will be on the move, so I can’t see delaying Coggins, can you? Nor would I want to. My canine vet is down to a bare minimum on gloves & masks she donated a lot.

Yesterday, day 12 I had no symptoms or fever. I feel okay today but fever back again.

If anyone remembers my quarantine greenhouses I made out of totes and cupcake carriers, this morning my lettuce and spinach sprouted and this afternoon my zucchini sprouted :D
@Tillicum what are you taking? Also, do you feel you were for sure exposed? I hope tomorrow is better.

““No matter what, a virus [like SARS-CoV-2] was going to test the resilience of even the most well-equipped health systems,” says Nahid Bhadelia, an infectious-diseases physician at the Boston University School of Medicine. More transmissible and fatal than seasonal influenza, the new coronavirus is also stealthier, spreading from one host to another for several days before triggering obvious symptoms. To contain such a pathogen, nations must develop a test and use it to identify infected people, isolate them, and trace those they’ve had contact with. That is what South Korea, Singapore, and Hong Kong did to tremendous effect. It is what the United States did not.”

You know, I really wonder about that, "Over 60, no ventilator".

So, if the Pope of the Catholic Church needed a ventilator? No way? Right.

I am pretty sure that a ventilator would be found for him. And that is what I don't like about those types of statements, because, really, there are always "exceptions".
