I got an email this morning that I'm eligible for the booster with my local University hospital that I see my specialists at. It only had a special clinic tomorrow though you had to make appointments with. Not a ton of openings for one day.

As I'm only 4 months out from my 2nd shot and I know others are in greater medical need right now I decided to pass. But I hope they will offer this again soon so I don't need to wait for a booster 8 months out. Any ideas on when it's most ideal to get it?

I had thought it was 6 months so no idea why the govt decided to offer it at 8 mo for everyone else. Is 6 mo still when things have dropped considerably or is there some more info on 8 months out?

Lucky you. It may be that many people at high risk failed to schedule appts.

I need to take a 6 hour flight. We're wanting to move out of California. I don't care about drinking on a flight. But, I swear, We're probably going to buy a place via zoom.

Is that a joke? Cow deworming medication to treat an airborne virus like the common cold?

What country is experimenting with these bizarre remedies - some third world country where education is sparse?

Unfortunately, there are doctors in our state using ivermectin as a treatment for Covid. My DIL's family all had covid and the Dr. prescribed Ivermectin. Yes, Ivermectin is used to treat parasites in dogs, horses, and farm animals. I was shocked when I heard this and people are highly educated.

Outspoken conservative radio host Phil Valentine dies after battling COVID-19

NASHVILLE, Tenn (WTVF) — Conservative talk radio host Phil Valentine has died following a lengthy battle with COVID-19. He was 61 years old.

His death was announced by SuperTalk 99.7 WTN on Saturday afternoon after he had been battling the virus for more than a month.

Recently Valentine voiced skepticism about the COVID-19 vaccine.

In December of 2020 he tweeted "I have a very low risk of A) Getting COVID and B) dying of it if I do. Why would I risk getting a heart attack or paralysis by getting the vaccine?"

He even recorded a parody song - Vaxman - mocking the vaccine.

In July, he told his audience he had COVID and he expected to be back soon.

But later updates from family and friends indicated how serious it was.

You’re not kidding.

Anyone who is working a job, with direct contact to the public is dealing with a lot of unnecessary drama. My daughter has been through so much in the last year working, people have called her names, been excessively rude to her when she requested that they put in a pin number on a machine when using a debit card. Normal, everyday interactions have turned into literal wars.

She is a college student, working a job as a cashier. That hardly merits the ongoing rudeness she has had to deal with, from not only customers, but other staff members. Including a manager who didn't want to give her time off to get vaccinated.

The world has gone mad. And it isn't getting any better.

He sounds like a charm. His FB page and comments are interesting, with hindsight.

Hopefully, for every famous anti vaxxer that dies, some of their followers will decide to get their shot. It’s like a public service announcement.
