was there any social media JD posted days before her disappearance. I assume everything was taken down after disappearance but was there any screen shots from a facebook or instagram that we know of?

I hope I am not upsetting anyone by bringing in my own experiences. I am so very focused on the psychology of this crime. I know who is responsible. The entire focus of my whole life is the theme of justice. I believe that Justice will be served in this case.
From Thread #3 WS Admin:
This case is dedicated to discussion about a missing and presumed murdered victim, Jennifer Dulos. You may discuss specific court documents that relate to the issues between the couple, but generalized bashing of the judge is not allowed, and the courts and/or legal system are not the subject of this discussion. Please stay on topic or face possible temporary or permanent loss of posting privileges.

ETA: Also please note that long, personal anecdotes derail the conversation and make it all about you instead of the case at hand. Such posts are off topic and will be removed at moderator discretion.

Yeah, I was pleasantly surprised as well.

Good variety of interviews and rundown of the case.

Glad they interviewed Dave Altimari (Courant investigative reporter). He reiterated that law enforcement tends to believe MT’s account and alibi.
That's interesting. So if we are then to believe MT's account (which is?) - she has an alibi for the morning but may or may not know where/who/what FD was doing? Is she also saying she did not know what was in the bags? Would love to know all of this .... we wait... JMO

Yup, she has plausible deniability when it comes to what FD was doing that morning.

She is also denying that she knew what was in the bags.

One of the guests said that law enforcement is probably trying to “drive a wedge” between the two of them, and trying to get her to flip on him.

I think there’s a good chance the charges go away at some point, even though I’m still skeptical as to what she says she knew, and what she did.

By now, they have been through all of these vehicles and phones/computers - there must be a wealth of forensic data at this point? But not enough for a murder warrant? Are they still waiting on a body??? It's the one thing he apparently did very well. and I think he did it alone. JMO

Have you all seen the interview with NP that the NC Advertiser did a couple of days ago? About how he can defend clients like FD (and Alex Jones)?
New Canaan Dulos case: Norm Pattis explains how he defends

I know people are sickened to the stomach by NP, but this is wacky enough to warrant a read. And it might give you a new view of FDs increasing precarity being represented by NP.

In sum, NP has taken on FDs case as therapy for himself (not my opinion, what the article directly states). He’s literally trying to work through his own abandonment and self hatred issues and he still can’t quite figure out why he’s taking on FD as a client. So much so that he’s in psychoanalysis 4 days a week! (I guess it wasn’t NP that FD was meeting at 7am that morning). It’s not about winning the case or using solid legal grounds. It’s about a drama of re-enactment that will help NP to work through his repressed childhood issues. No wonder he’s not charging; NP should be paying FD for the free therapy!
It might make us angry to see the crazy antics NP is throwing out there, but it’s clear that it’s not necessarily motivated by what NP thinks is solid legal strategy, it’s about working out his own issues through identification with the client. This could sorely backfire for FD. (Bad news is that many out there are also working out their own issues through this case, many of us included).

Here’s a few quotes from this piece:
“For the past decade I’ve spent four mornings a week on the couch, free associating my way through endless hours trying to figure out why I do what I do.“

“I am the man who once rescued the little boy. I’ve become my big brother. The folks I stand beside are me. In some bizarre twist of fate, I repeat the abandonment cycle, this time being the rescuer I never had. I can work out the rage, fear and sorrow over abandonment in standing between an accused and his accusers: It’s true, I take pride in knowing that the state must get through me to get at my client.”
Fraudulent bundle of symptoms!

We are all at least a little available to this stuff from the past but give me a break. Stop malingering np - so self indulgent given your cases right now.

The body will help, but I don’t think that’s necessarily what they are waiting on.

The sentiment from that HLN special, was that law enforcement is looking for a rock solid case against him.

It takes a while for lab results to come back, and digital evidence to be analyzed.

I agree, I think he did do this alone. It complicates things a bit, as there’s no one who can rat him out.

Something is glitchy with my keyboard today, so apologies that my second post upthread included a first part that reads like off-road nonsense. That was a stub from the beginning of a reply to an earlier discussion on here re how law enforcement could suspect from Albany Ave video that the odyssey of stupidity trash bags had the appearance of a blood-like substance unless the bags were white and the video color;

and, in any event, what story would FoDu have fed to MT or EE about the smell, contents, or reason for truck-bed loading or transfer of >30 smelly bloody bags later prominently featured in the Hartford disposal run.

Assume for the purposes of this thought experiment the likelihood that EE and/or possibility that MT were genuinely clueless as to the actual contents of the bags and actual reason for the bag loading, bag to vehicle transfer, and/or the Albany Ave/Hartford area trash run.

Also consider the possibility that FoDu arranged it to insure EE and/or MT handled the bags extensively for something else before the bloody stuff got added into to the bags. EE and/or MT may have been assisting with opening the bags while the gloved one loaded in clothes or the bags may have just had clothes or misc items but been loosely tied because the contents weren’t messy or smell at that time. It was the stuff before the snuff, just to get other people’s prints on them.

Here’s where I meant to be going with that stub:

1. FD is by all reports a horrible, reckless, aggressive, and impatient driver.

2. FD believes he has Waze to evade backups, traffic, and law enforcement.

3. FD has a limited number of queued up LPs on rotation in his intellectual jukebox. If the beat succeeded before, he repeats it, based on its prior success.

(Termed another way, we are all to some extent creatures of habit, so patterns can be gleaned from our words, silence, actions, and inactions as well as interactions. Sometimes these patterns have high predictive value, especially when the context of the comparison situation for our prediction or theory is closely matched to the prior situation as to which we are to some extent using the earlier known contexts and situations as the control set).

4. FD has previously claimed to LE that he hit a deer while driving and sustained damage to one of “his” vehicles (see KD death “investigation” report) caused by the deer. Apparently the volunteer deer strike statement wasn’t questioned, challenged, and raised no red flags for LE investigators later following up on KD’s death. FD learns from this deer bone is a boon, a hit, a ringer. This LP is not removed from the deflection list.

4. FD likely would still have much of JD and the kids clothing etc at 4 Jeff Xing home, given their June 2017 escape therefrom presumably with a fraction of their belongings.

5. FD might have told EE and/or MT that he planned to load up some clothes the kids outgrew or abandoned at 4 Jeff Xing to charity or wherever because they had the house for sale and wanted to tidy up. Maybe the story could have been he offered to return then to Jennifer but she told him Wednesday night he could just get rid of the stuff.

6. At some point, FD hit a deer. He pulled over to check on the deer but got into some poison ivy. He tried to put the deer in the truck to take it to the animal control or vet people but the deer thrashed around in the clothing stuff in the truck bed and made a big mess and just he could tell quickly the deer wasn’t going to make it, so he put the stuff in the bags and then it was a mess so it needed to go in the trash not to charity. He didn’t want it smelling up the dumpster at the worksite so he cut it up into parts and that’s why he needed to go find trash cans with the Memorial Day holiday weekend and also why he would have needed to take EE’s truck through the car wash (assuming he did). Maybe the deer was not in any of the bags just the blood clean up bags. The actual dear was likely disposed of separately and elsewhere, such as @MrFixit has suggested.

7. I’m wondering whether FD ran over JD with EE’s truck. The actually running over someone or almost running over someone or trying to get your kids or your nanny seems to be in heavy rotation on FD’s hit list.

Very left field theories not at all elegant or Occam’s Razorish, but just throwing this pasta out there.

I would not at all be surprised if FD ran over JD with EE’s truck or with JD’s suburban. She may have crawled under the suburban when trying to escape from him and already severely injured. He could have backed up (if she’d driven in) or backed out (if Vice versa) because he was pissed off that she’d tried to get away from him and now he would have to move the suburban to get her out from under the car, and there would be that mess that he hadn’t counted on that would expletive for urine him off.

I agree that he did the murder alone, but I still believe that MT knows he did it, and knows damn well what was in those bags she was helping to toss out. Having said that, I do believe that, if she hasn't already, she will eventually flip on him and help put the nails in his coffin. JMO

I just posted an article. Appears they have been there all week. Searched reservoir 3 with no luck. It's dive team and K9 training but they were looking in specific locations for JD.

That's how they found Danniella Vian. Someone noticed something weird in the water and LE used the search as a training exercise and they found her body submerged in her car.

I wonder if there are any correlating phone pings?? Many of our sleuthers have long thought water would come into play. But if nothing has surfaced, then I'm wondering if weights/cement blocks, etc are involved? or the metal barrel we discussed at length many threads ago (banging on May 25 very early am at his property?).
