IMO I have never met a Greek person ( from Greece or 1st gen) who has marrried a non Greek and or non Christian person. I think he was all in for the $ from the very beginning starting with their “chance” meeting at the Colorado airport.

First post! I’ve been binge reading the threads related to this case. My heart goes out to the kids and JD’s family.

If I recall, one of the hold ups in JD and FD’s divorce was that he had certain unnamed requirements, and she finally decided not to bend. So wife #1 probably figured that it was easier to give him 100% interest in the house just to get away.

I know this sounds so simplistic ... but it seems to me that MT would be the key to splitting this case wide open . Apparently, she and FD are broken up according to his attorney. So loyalty and love would go out the window . If she were given some kind of “deal” to start talking .... I mean a few years in prison beats life . Idk if they have the DP in CT.

It’s hard for me to imagine how demanding he must have been, for JD to just give in, to keep the peace. She realized that there wasn’t any way, short of leaving him, for her to live as she wished (with her own bathroom!). It must have been terrible living with him for almost all of the time they were together. I wonder if wife #1 was relieved to see him go?

If wife #1 wasn't relieved then she sure has to be now!

This could certainly be the case for many betrothed, but why here? He just signed divorce papers 5 weeks before presumed Aug wedding date. If they just did jop ceremony to ‘ make it legal’, while waiting for venue to be free???, or arrangements could be made, flights be arranged for all the Greek guests. maybe...but in their case, it doesn’t seem to fit. Feb 2005 was not that far off, why not wait?? What was the big hurry? Why not let ink dry on divorce and have the Feb wedding. What did FD have to gain by marrying J so fast?

yes, that poor woman- only she knows the extent of what she suffered.
probably couldn't sleep at night out of worry, fear and anxiety
probably couldn't eat for the same reasons as above.
It was only a matter of time til she was diagnosed with a 'stress
induced' disease. lots of studies on stress causing cancer, especially breast cancer.

Absolutely agree and what is so horrific to watch was the nearly 2 years of further abuse in court of JD by FD where her sanity was questioned and her medication/s questioned.

This cycle of abuse was then very actively continued IMO by FD prior family court attys and most recently by No Case Norm/Pattis. Pattis has single handledly undertaken one of the worst victim character assinations that I have seen in a missing case in many years.

CT DV groups have spoken out against the cycle of abuse that has been continued in the press by Pattis and its only been in the last week where the very negative rhetoric against JD by Pattis/FD has toned down. Read the family statements (in Media Thread on WS) and on the NCPD website for their responses to the Pattis unfounded allegations in this very sad case.

Does anyone know if the divorce documents are in the WS Media thread? MSM has printed bits and pieces of the divorce final settlement but don't recall seeing entire documents?

I know-and in a 14,000 sq ft house, she couldn’t have her own bathroom. He had to control everything, even down to what bathroom she could use. Most men, if there was access to multiple bathrooms, would be happy not to share with their wives, IMO. But not FD.

I'm really happy to know that FD will be sharing his new bathroom, with his new roommate in prison. It does seem like karma will be coming back around to FDufus, kinda makes ya giggle.

If I recall wife #1 gave him that house in the divorce so there may have been some confusion on ownership. I believe Fore Group
organized as an LLC in 2004. Maybe it started when he was with
wife #1? I'd have to go back and check.

It appears that he was already building homes (at least one) at the time of his divorce. Under which company?

Been gone a while . With some time on my hands and wanting to know more about this case , the little I have seen reported on MSM and the absolute narcissist con man that FD screams . I’m back. Been reading pages of these threads but have seen little regarding the GF of FD ? Is there a portion of this thread that goes into deapth on her . TIA

She seemed like a wistful and sweet lady who didn't want to make waves but so badly wanted a nice family life and a real partner.

Instead she got this guy. I can only imagine - imperious. Demanding. Dictating. Never wanting to know how she actually felt or what she thought. And when she did voice her opinion he probably told her she was insane.

There has to be justice for JD and her loved ones.

No, FD was not involved in a tannery in CT but it was his families business for at least 2 generations and it is believed that members of his extended family remain in the industry in the US.

Ah hah! Possibly that could allow for separating a body into a couple of packages & burying later without the packages expanding due to decomp. I couldn’t figure out how that could occur without being in a freezer on a property. Will have to research that because there still should be disposed waste or chemicals I would assume. Somewhere.

Here are the high/low points:
-Born in TN to Venezuelan parents (citizenship unknown believed to be either Venezuela or Argentina). Birth last name Arreaza.
-Has lived in Argentina, Michigan and Miami and worked in Dubai and UAE
-Nickname “Michi” is an accomplished skier and equestrian
-According to LinkedIn betwen 2000 a 2003 she worked at Ghantoot Racing & Polo Club in Abu Dabi and as an equine therapy instructor in Dubai
-Graduated college with degree in Psychology from a university in Venzuela Universidad Central de Venezuela (UCV) in 1998
-Speaks english and spanish
-Father is well known pediatric heart surgeon based in Miami but still believed to be active in social causes in Argentina
-Mother [Miresela Arreaza] was a mental health professional (possibly psychologist/counselor) arrested and tried in FL for Medicare Fraud. Believed to have lost license to practice. Mother has been visibly active in the case via presence at court dates, atty visits etc. Mother is also believed to have co-signed bond arrangement to get MT out of jail.
-According to LinkedIn betwen 2000 a 2003 she worked at Ghantoot Racing & Polo Club in Abu Dhabi and as an equine therapy instructor in Dubai
-MT has a young daughter 13 yrs old who attends private girls school in Simsbury, CT where annual boarding tuition is $61,000/yr. and day student tuition is $42,550 - unknown if MT daughter was a boarding or day student..
-MT daughter is result of relationship (no proof that they were married) with well known Argentinian former Olympic skier who owns a ski resort in Argentina. It is estimated (from court documents) that MT receives $4,000/month support payments as the result of a palimony suit filed by MT in Miami. It is totally unclear how she is able to afford private school tuition for daughter unless father pays or MT family supports or FD paid as her salary from FORE Group appears insufficient to cover tuition and living expenses.
-MT lived in Argentina roughly 6-7 years and then returned to Miami where she worked as a party promoter
-Has training in equine therapy in Venezuela and MI/USA and worked in this field overseas for 2 years (UAE and Abu Dhabi for 2 years
-Returned to Miami where we conjecture she met FD at some point after having being married to a professional motorcycle racer.
-Started affair with FD in late 2015/early 2016 (at least a year before JD filed for divorce in 2017 per court documents).
-Lived in 4JX house with FD with her daughter (unclear whether her daughter lived full time at 4JX or boarded at school in Simsbury, CT which is near Farmington, CT).

For more detail check out MT linkedin profile and prior threads and media thread on WS. Also check prior threads for details on FD convo with JD about her continuing to live at 4JX WITH MT and JD/FD 5 children. It was this convo along with a very long history of domestic violence (included psychological and physical abuse according to MSM reports and multiple police reports in Farmington, CT) that prompted JD to flee Farmington in 2017 by saying she was taking the children to visit her fathers grave in NY. JD and the children never returned to Farmington and lived briefly in NY and eventually settled in NC, CT.

School that MT daughter attends is day only in middle school; MT alibi on 5/24 morning may include school drop off run (school begins 8:15am, about 20 min drive).
