I get it-but what did they get from his phone other than the pings? I don’t think like a criminal, and am not technologically astute (lol).
Google searches, pictures, text messages, emails, voicemails, plus the phone locations, how long they were there (some disclosed in his arrest warrant).
ETA pictures - I believe he has an iphone 10 or X? from the warrant

Well, they know that JD was bleeding profusely in the garage, which is most consistent with an attack. Do they know for sure that she's dead? What's the alternative, being held captive somewhere? Not if FD and MT were involved.

They can frequently tell by the quantity of blood, that the amount is incompatible with life; if it’s cleaned up, they can’t. But I think that amount that’s splattered, and where and how far it splatters, they have an idea. Ultimately, amount of blood that they can measure in a case where there is no body, is only really helpful if it hasn’t been cleaned up, in my opinion.

So wonder if the nanny was brought over from Greece? Was Jennifer Greek too? Why wouldn't she have an American nanny or was the nanny Greek American?
There could be many reasons. If the family was Greek they may have wanted a Greek nanny. FD may have wanted it. I actually wonder if she was a nanny at all. I’m assuming she was not Greek American because the article stated that she didn’t speak English, so FD translated for her.

I'm curious if anyone is investigating his business and finances as well. If he makes bail and they aren't ready for murder charges, maybe they can hit him with fraud or tax issues or something....would love to see it ALL come down.

I'm thinking he is probably contacting people in Greece to help him out. He returned to Greece regularly, IIRC, so he might have family there. But are they willing and able to help him? IDK. If he stashed money there himself, perhaps they need some time to figure out how to access it?

I don't know that he has anyone else to ask for bail $. What a bummer.

jmo

Can he easily contact an assortment of people from where he currently sits? Or does he get his lawyer to do it?

It sounds to me like JD didn’t speak Greek as he wasn’t allowed to speak it any longer with the children. He may have used this as a means of control.

How was JD supposed to communicate with her nanny unless she also spoke fluent Greek? Maybe JD is also Greek, I don’t know. But, when this incident happened it was 2010 and JD would have had a newborn plus 4 very small children. She would have been in need verbal communication with this Greek nanny .. unless FD solely decided what JD was able to communicate to her own nanny ..

Also who said the former nanny didn’t speak English. FD? The Nanny? Anyone could pretend they don’t speak English If they felt like it. Ugh.

I know that the story of the running over of FD's mother by the nanny thing is unrelated, however LE is checking into everything about this guy's background. And this event smells also. The 24 year old nanny was also Greek and spoke no English, and had no driver's license, and FD translated for her with LE after the incident. FD happened to be in Greece when it happened. She was alive for some time. One of the grandchildren witnessed it. FD told LE his mother had "no assets, property or items of value ... no last will and testament and that this included life insurance policies, bank accounts and investments" Wow. Grifter much?

Possible he killed his own mother and made up the nanny story as a cover?

Also it's interesting that FD was accused by JD of the very same mode of violence -- running her over with a car, and I think did fake an attempt at this, swerving away from her at the last second, again in front of the children.

Man, just think, if he killed his mother and then his wife.

Seems like he was out of the country when the accident happened with his mom. Of course he and the nanny could have been involved in a cover-up, but it doesn't seem likely.

FWIW I have family members that were in a similar financial situation to this family around the same time who hired a Swedish nanny. Neither of the parents knew Swedish but she took care of the three small kids and barely conversed in English at all. From what I remember she was around for 2-3 years. This is normal in affluent areas if you want your kids to grow up bilingual.

"FOX61 has obtained exclusive surveillance footage from a Farmington resident trying to help in the search for Jennifer Dulos. See it on the @FOX61News at 4."

I'm sure this will be significantly less interesting than it sounds.
Why would the resident share with Fox rather than LE???

“The mother of the man currently jailed in connection with the disappearance of his estranged wife Jennifer Dulos died in freak accident after she was run over by a 24-year-old family employee in a Land Rover”. (DailyMail.com) It appears the employee was the nanny and she didn’t have a drivers license.....crazy!

I'm wondering if she was really a nanny.
Who hires a nanny who can't speak the kid's language and who can't drive?
Maybe she was an in-home caretaker for the littlest ones still in diapers and such?

How would a nanny get kids to activities if she can't drive and once at activities/appointments/school, how would she communicate with staff there?
Maybe she had "poor English" or limited, but not fluent?

Supposedly the nanny was taking the grandma and a kid or two to the store when the accident happened.

Bouncing this off my last post about my relatives who had a Swedish nanny, I know a lot of times it was just for shuttling the older kids and giving Mom time with the newborn. That could be the case here - or she could’ve had an affair with FD and JD didn’t know about it?

Question... Is there any additional info on this case in a scanner thread or have we gleaned everything from MSM? Thanks for any insight!

Yeah, and the fact that she survived initially, makes it even less likely.

It’s something to be looked at, but I’m not confident it was intentional.

I think I read somewhere that Fotis has a sister back in Greece. It appears that Jennifer has a sister in NY.

I wonder how these relatives will play into long-term custody situations. Wondering if Jennifer was close to her sister or maybe really close to a cousin? Maybe the nanny and her mom as co-guardians?

Just wondering if her mom's age (85) will have a part in custody when all of this is settled, particularly if someone from his family is willing or tried to step in.

I saw her mom's age in the DM article from today, otherwise I was thinking she was maybe 70-75 or so. Of course it seems like no one is closer to the kids than she is, but some lawyers could try to make a case with the age thing.
