Would that chamber be able to reverse any brain damage?
I don't think it can reverse any damage that has already been done but maybe it can prevent the poison from further entering the cells in his body.
Apparently other patients have had success but I think it depends on how long he was exposed in the first place and how quickly he was treated.

Imo

I would like to know who called for a wellness check. It appears conflicting report, he was late for hearing, he was not late for hearing. Possibly be one of his attorneys called. According to Fox 61, a commenting lawyer said in his experience the defense lawyer goes to the house of client or he sends a member of his team. They usually do not call 911. I wonder if his lawyer had some indication of FD harming himself.

According to Fox 61....trial will now depend on FD mental state, ability to understand proceedings etc.

NP’s speedy trial is now on hold.

I wonder if FD is stabilized and cannot go to trial can he be deported, be sent back to a Turkey or Greece or is CT paying for continuous medical care.

I also listened to the latest LE update. It sounds like they are getting more, new search warrants of the house, cars and contents...this was in regards to the question asked if there was a suicide note. This is what I got out of LEs response about suicide note.

next update later this night.
I heard Bridgeport Hospital, but it’s taking a long time - the helicopter has been sitting there awhile. I wonder if he died and they don’t need it. Or he’s just too far gone. You think they would move him ASAP if there was a chance to save him in a hyperbaric chamber.
I know, so weird, and makes me suspicious that he and his family/mob friends have staged something so he can get out of the house arrest / jail in CT clutches of the law and end up somewhere he can flee from...!! MOOmoo too=too painful to consider, but would not put it past him at all.:eek::mad:
Evidently there are a limited number of hyperbaric chambers (dr friend in ct) and this being an emergency they are casting around looking for the closest available one, available being key ... also Bridgeport Hospital is part of Yale, has been so for a few years now

Such a difference in how criminals are treated in different areas. In Fl. I've never heard of an accused perp being flown by helicopter to any hospital, Nor have I ever heard of one being allowed treatment in a hyperbaric chamber.
Here they get minimum treatment and ride in an ambulance.
And FL has the Sunshine law so the public is informed of everything.

So d

does Greenwich.
Very strange to go to Jacobi IMO.
Maybe a matter of availability? IMO, hyperbaric chambers are not an elective medical treatment. So I’m betting you can’t really bump anyone to get to the front of the line, so to speak. Anyone needing such a thing is probably in equally critical condition themselves. Maybe a nurse or medical professional can weigh in here?

WFSB/News 3 had reporters at FD residence since mid-morning in anticipation of FD headed to court for his emergency noon bond hearing which was not due to any violation by FD but at the request of his Surety which was questioning the collateral pledged for his $6mil bail.

Right or wrong -- WFSB/3 also had drones in the air before they had any idea that FD attempted suicide. Per reporters outside his residence - they kept expecting FD to depart for court while other reporters at the courthouse were tweeting that FD still had not arrived while his attorney was present and waiting for his client.

Reporters outside residence reported seeing a woman about 11:15 AM believed to be indemnitor/ representative for his surety bond arrive at his home, depart, and return again shortly before police arrived at the residence. (Indemnitor likely concerned FD jumped bail).

Around 11:50 pm Farmington Police arrived to perform wellness check when he had not arrived at court. Farmington police viewed FD inside his car in the garage and appeared in medical distress.

WFSB/3 drone footage was briefly shown live stream that recorded LE opening garage doors and FD on the ground outside the garage (backside of the house) and multiple officers surrounding FD vigorously performing CPR for about 15 minutes before FD was lifted to a stretcher and loaded inside UCONN Fire Dept Ambulance. (WFSB/3 has since pulled drone footage showing FD on the ground before LE erected tarp/tents to shield him).

Police advised reporters on the scene that they were unable to revive FD and media began reporting FD deceased per the State and Farmington police. Ambulance left the scene (without any siren) escorted by state police.

There was no evidence or reports that coroner was ever on the scene.

I believe it is most likely the protocol to take the deceased to UCONN Medical for official death pronouncement. Although emergency responders can announce a death at the scene, nearly all states require death pronounced by a coroner/ME or authorized MD personnel (pursuant to state statute).

While FD in transport to UCONN and reports broadcasting FD's death via suicide by carbon monoxide poisoning, Norm Patis (in DC for another client) also issued condolence to his client's family. Moments later NP announced that FD had a faint pulse!!

UCONN Medical refusing to make a statement but reports are FD is being airlifted via Lifestar to either Bridgeport or Jacobi Medical Center (Bronx) for hyperbaric chamber (i.e., treat carbon monoxide).

All MOO via live stream coverage.
