JUST IN: Michelle Troconis, her attorney, and family have arrived at Stamford Superior Court for today’s hearing in the Jennifer Dulos case, her first since February due to the pandemic. Today, her attorney will argue to relax the conditions of her bond release.

Colangelo is now asking for sanctions on Schoenhorn for sending evidence to media without getting the okay from the prosecution. Schoenhorn sent out several pieces of discovery including videos showing Fotis Dulos disposing of evidence.
Troconis hearing beginning. Colangelo says Attorney Jon Schoenhorn has been provided all outstanding discovery.

Interesting development—Michelle’s Troconis’ first attorney, Andrew Bowman, has just arrived for today’s hearing.
Schoenhorn: nothing that was released to the media was not part of his memorandum of law, hence no violation. Also calls out Colangelo for not giving him the courtesy of a heads up that he has an issue with what was released. Calls this “a stunt” and expects an apology.
Judge Blawie says he’ll take the motion for sanctions under advisement. Wants to move on to the purpose of this hearing—removing non-financial bond conditions including GPS monitoring, house arrest, intensive probation, and travel restrictions in US.
Schoehorn: Even of initial orderd were appropriate, conditions are no longer necessary. Troconis' father in Florida just released from hospital with Covid, but she can't visit him because of restrictions.
Schoenhorn: whether or not the conditions were appropriate back in June, they are no longer necessary today. Brings up Troconis’ father in ICU in Florida bec of COVID and she couldn’t visit him.

Blawie asks if Troconis had requested a visit to Florida. Says she’s been complying with conditions of release and has previously been allowed to go to airports to pick up daughter
Schoenhorn says no because she’s under house arrest and has had issues with probation even when she’s gone to meetings with her attorney, which were previously allowed

Rightttt, all she had to do was ask to go to Florida.

I was hoping she'd wear a mask made of those shoe coverings thingies. That way whatever she steps in could match whatever comes out of her mouth.

I'm not fooled by her virgin whites.

Blawie: No point addressing venue due to prejudice because trial is way down the road. Something that can be taken up closer to then.
Schoenhorn: the allegations against Troconis supposedly happened in the Hartford Judicial District, not in Stamford. Wants an evidentiary hearing to decide this.

Colangelo: if Schoenhorn is trying to argue to change jurisdiction, then there should be no change to her bond conditions today because down the road it might not matter.
Blawie: rules that Troconis no longer has to be part of intensive probation program. Prosecution agreed to this. Every other condition remains in effect while he reviews the arguments for GPS, house arrest, travel. Says will issue written decision in next couple wks.
Blawie says ruling will come by mid-September.

Next court date is Oct 1, 10am. Hearing is over. Previous Troconis Andrew Bowman leaves the without being part of what happened today.

The most revealing tweets about the attorneys involved in the hearing....Can't believe that Attorney Schoenhorn would accuse the State's Chief Attorney of pulling a "stunt" in open court and demand an apology. Attorney S is in La-La Legal land, IMO.

SMH....Hope Judge Blawie can stand firm and seek guidance with the law. Showboat Schoenhorn does need his sails trimmed.

Take off the bracelet and MT is gone.

IF her dad had COVID, was in ICU or just A hospital room Gould not have visitors....see link below. I am not looking up every hospital but IMOO the hospitals have same ruling. If stay is other then a Covid and. Depending on age, depending on medical issue, one adult may be allowed. MT sho the paperwork which asks for visit to Florida....waiting.
